Just as wonderful as its sister hotel - the Duke of Brunswick - in the city. Bit of a different atmosphere… fresher, perhaps. Great choice of food, all gluten free. Big serves. Lovely gluten free beer. No oat milk in the coffee machines, therefore safe for the really sensitive Coeliacs (me included).
The absolute best place for gluten free food and extras like bread, cakes etc. Extremely friendly and helpful owner and staff. As someone who is a Celiac I cannot recommend them highly enough. My favourite place to shop. Thank you so much to pavi and pourash for your wonderful much needed service💞
The Service was very efficient and excellent the food was extremely good and delicious and I love how they offer a gluten free version for those who need it and very clear with allergies
Best atmosphere out on the balcony, staff are friendly and super helpful. Food is beautiful, everything we ordered was delicious. Service was prompt, can’t fault this place. Very quirky and very easy to find something for a family of 5 with multiple food restrictions (2 x vegans, 2 x Dairy Free, 1 x Gluten Free)
Ate here recently after seeing positive feedback on coeliac pages. Was shocked I could even consider trying to eat somewhere like Betty's Burgers, decided to take the risk there one day and had a burgers (best burger I've had since my diagnosis) chips and a milkshake. Delicious as it used to be but also no reaction!? Couldn't believe I could eat food that good and not get glutened. I can't stop talking about it
Celebrated my nephew's baptism and the food was delicious. Great they were able to cater for those with coeliac's. The GF tiramisu is a must. Beautiful venue and atmosphere for a special day.
Could not fault the food or service, my partner is coeliac the chef made a fresh garlic sauce gluten free for her, food flavours were great and well balanced our waiter James could not have been better. The dining room is moe like a restaurant than a hotel, highly recommend.
I came for breakfast on a weekend and it exceeded my expectations! The menu had a great variety of options, including gluten-free choices. The portions were generous and the coffee was delicious. The staff was also very friendly and accommodating.
Dropped in for lunch had a double cheese burger and the other half had a Hot Winters Burger with a gluten free bun. Both were great, very tasty and good value for money only $1 extra for the Gluten free bun.
The service and atmosphere are great, and it's a cafe I'd like to come back to again!
I ordered a chai latte and a gluten-free chocolate cookie.
It was so great👏✨
I want to come again.
If you’re visiting Mt Gambier you must must must go here! We were staying in the nearby Pine Country campground (also excellent) and stopped in on our way out of town. The smell in there was divine! They have a great range of savoury and sweet scrolls (I saw cheese & chive and Oreo cookie scrolls) but to my surprise and delight they also had two gluten free scrolls! I tried the apple and cinnamon, it was one of the yummiest things I have ever eaten. I would come back to Mt Gambier just for these scrolls. Seriously. Just go there.
We were invited in to check their food.
They make a huge range of food from hot to cold. But most importantly they had gluten free...
It was a unique place where staff recognised valued customers by name. Calling out to each other it was an usual time that we enjoyed.
Told the staff I was coeliac and to my amazement they offered to make up my gluten free wrap in a separate work space that wasn't contaminated with gluten - awesome service
This shop in Prospect is the perfect stop when I'm heading to Costco, and the Norwood location is great when I'm going to Aldi. They're both in such convenient & good spots. What makes this place really special is the open baking area where you can actually watch the bagels being made. The gluten free bagels themselves are absolutely delicious- soft, fresh, and full of flavour. I usually rotate between three favorite flavours, and today I went with No.3. It paired perfectly with their nutty almond latte. The coffee also here is surprisingly good.Highly recommend!
Meat pizza was loved. I had the Arties with a gluten free base and it was so delish! Perfect amount of topping and sauce and the base was divine, you wouldn't even know it was gluten free!
Love that you can add or take ingredients from the pizza.
Will definitely order again, thank you
Thoroughly charming little cantina with easygoing owner, vibe and delicious food. Home-made chilli sauces, flavoured sodas and generously packed sandwiches. Definitely worth checking out the olives and corn ribs. One happy vegan and coeliac left with full bellies and the intention to be back very soon indeed!
Great vibes, friendly staff and delicious food. We had breakfast and it was all delicious, nice to have a proper fry-up at such great value. Milk alternatives available and gluten free options. Will definitely be returning. @kirbystaltari

A tiny little hole in the wall place below some apartments , it blends in with the surrounding area , right across from a small football/ soccer field . Frankly bagels has a nice selection and my friend and I had a hard time deciding what to eat . The staff were friendly and they helped with our choices . Luckily we came in as we did , as they nearly ran out of gluten free bagels .
I had the tuna and bagel , with Swiss cheese , capers and pickled chili ,fennel and herbs . It had flour in spades , and a slight chili kick , with the added addition of lots a thinly sliced cucumber. It was very refreshing. The bagel itself wasn’t bad , but gluten free bagels are a little difficult to get right , so it was a little dry , but you definitely couldn’t beat the filling !
My friend and I also shared one of the specials, and hitch was a pistachio cream , with raspberries and roasted pistachios . This was the standout bagel for me - the pistachio cream cheese made it almost a cheesecake consistency, with the added piquancy of the fresh raspberries and the crunch of the toasted pistachios adding extra texture. Whoever thought of this combination deserves a raise !
Frankly bagels use St Ali coffee, a well known roaster from South Melbourne which has a nice depth to it . It’s a good all round coffee which was made well here .
There are a lot of smaller cafes around this area , and you are spoilt for choice ! It’s nice when cafes specialize in a particular food , this is obviously a local place which is becoming well known .
Great paninis - my wife is coeliac and so is our friend that we visited with and they were great with gluten free knowledge, the gluten free bread was amazing. Highly recommend for breakfast/lunch and coffee!!
Oh my goodness, let me tell you about my experience at Hello Sarnie Cafe! As someone with gluten intolerance, it can be quite a challenge to find a place that caters to my dietary needs without sacrificing flavor. But this cafe absolutely nailed it!
Their menu boasts an impressive selection of gluten-free options that are both delicious and satisfying. From mouth-watering sandwiches to delectable pastries, I couldn't believe how much variety they had to offer.
And the best part? The quality of the food was absolutely top-notch. Every bite was bursting with flavor, and I didn't feel like I was missing out on anything despite my dietary restrictions.
If you're someone who struggles to find great food choices due to gluten intolerance, I cannot recommend Hello Sarnie Cafe enough. Trust me, your taste buds will thank you!
Such a cool little spot - very friendly and welcoming. The sandwiches were incredibly fresh and delicious. I'd give the bread 10/10.
Aperol Spritz can be hit and miss around town but this one was perfection! Highlight was the gluten free chocolate lava cake!!!!
