Their entire menu is gluten-free except for breaded items. The calamari is also gluten-free because it's breaded with chickpea flour. Excellent service from the front-of-house staff.
Came for breakfast on a quiet morning in June. Oh my goodness, so so so good. The kind of good where I immediately went home and looked up everything I had to see if I could make it. My only wish was that the gluten free bread was the Arabic bread mentioned in the menu rather than chopped corn tortillas, but still very nice to have gluten free options.
Dear restaurant, what is the kind of bean and vegetable salad in the breakfast and how do I make it? I'm still thinking about it, so healthy and fresh and filling!
amazing service they did really well for my dad who is gluten free they offer gluten free beer pasta and pizza and i really enjoyed my crepe and the ice cream was gorgeous i’d highly suggest coming here when you’re on holiday or live in the town
A varied menu of rice dishes to choose from, as well as starters. The menu is also mostly gluten-free, with allergens clearly indicated.
The rice dishes are delicious and come in individual portions. You can order through the website by scanning a QR code. The price range is affordable, with set menu options for around €20.
The wait staff is very friendly and is always available to assist with any questions. I highly recommend the experience.
It's a confectionery style, with gluten-free options. Everything is very good. Nice waitress. Advisable. We will return to try another gluten-free sweet.
We were there three years ago, and they had gluten-free dishes. We were there yesterday, and it was nothing like it. Now it's a place with a variety of greasy, low-quality food, with no gluten-free alternatives. It's run by Chinese staff who weren't able to take proper orders. The place is full of dogs, even though signs prohibiting them are posted on the door. They don't write anything down, and when they come in, they don't even remember. If you're looking for gluten-free dishes, DON'T COME. If you're looking for a pleasant evening with good service, DON'T COME. ALL THE PHOTOS DISPLAYED IN THE REVIEWS ARE PAST AND THEY DON'T CURRENTLY HAVE ANY GLUTEN-FREE OR CROSS-CONTAMINATION.
A HEALTH INSPECTION WOULD BE AWARE.
For me, in the town it is a reference since it has gluten-free beer, the menu also has dishes that are gluten-free, a plus in its favor that they told me that in a few months they would have a griddle just to make dishes for celiacs. . It seems to me that they are moving towards progress little by little and even though they are in a charming little town they have a vision of the future. Thank you !!!
Very good treatment and food.
We were a couple and one of us is Celiac, not gluten intolerant but zero gluten tolerance (no bread crumbs or cross contamination).
When we called the place they told us that we could eat pizza but they told us inside the restaurant that it was better not because the pizza is made in the same oven and better not because of cross contamination (which is appreciated, to prevent any contact with gluten). They gave us several alternatives such as gluten-free pasta, a hamburger with gluten-free bread and gluten-free sauces and it was a success😄😌
The Gluten Free Bread was delicious and the Black Angus beef was delicious adding the option of potatoes made in the pan and delicious too.
On the other hand, I ordered a normal pizza, the Diavola, and it was exquisite, the dough was brutal and very well toasted, aligned and very delicious. A real diavola and not medium spicy without spicy salami like in many coastal places.
Thank you for taking care of celiacs and offering good service in both food and customer service.
We will return!!!
Highly recommended restaurant!!
I went to lunch with a friend, and with two starters and the set menu, it cost just over 30 euros for both of us. The menu is super complete and varied, the service was top-notch, and we left feeling stuffed. The croquettes are a must-order, and the chorizo in cider were spectacular. They also adapt the entire menu for gluten-free options!!
I will definitely return!!
Special mention to the treatment received.
We were able to have dinner in peace since they take gluten intolerance into account! It is to be appreciated.
We will return.
My partner, the little boy and I went to dinner this Saturday, there was no table but they prepared one for us while we were taking a walk. The service could not have been better, they treated us very well, the food was very good and at a reasonable price, the best thing is that the menu is gluten-free and my partner who has celiac disease appreciates it very much. Thank you very much and we hope to return when we are in the area
We went thanks to the recommendation of celiaquita.com, looking to enjoy some gluten-free pancakes/crepes and... wonderful!
They explained to us how they worked and are very careful with the issue of cross contamination.
There are many options for pancakes and crepes (sweet and savory), smoothies, slushies, etc., for celiacs.
We opted for two gluten-free crepes: death by chocolate and another customized to taste. Delicious!
Thank you for thinking about the celiac community and for doing so well!
If you thought eating gluten-free meant giving up the pleasure of a good pizza... that's because you haven't yet crossed the doors of Infraganti. This place isn't just a pizzeria: it's a sanctuary of flavor, an oasis for celiacs and food lovers alike.
From the first bite, you understand that no games are played here. The gluten-free dough—light, crispy, perfectly golden—is a masterpiece that rivals (and surpasses!) many traditional versions. And the ingredients? Fresh, local, treated with respect and creativity. Each pizza is a declaration of love for the palate.
The service is on another level. The Infraganti team not only understands dietary restrictions well, but they embrace them as a gastronomic challenge, and overcome them with flying colors. Friendly service, a welcoming atmosphere, and an irresistible aroma that accompanies you from the moment you enter until you leave, floating with happiness.
If you're in the Vinalopó region and don't come to Infraganti, you're missing out on the best gluten-free pizza in the entire region—and possibly the country. And if you don't need to eat gluten-free, come anyway: your stomach won't notice the difference, but your soul certainly will.
We made a reservation for dinner at 10:00 p.m. At 11:10 p.m. we still had nothing to eat on the table.
People who had arrived half an hour (literally) after us had already had their dinner. Our faces a poem when we had been empty for an hour.
The “appetizer” that the waitress recommended that we order (because she warned us that dinner was going to take a while, to whet our appetites) theoretically consisted of a roll with aioli, we accepted, but we told her that a gluten-free option was possible and we agreed. He said yes.
To our surprise when the “appetizer” arrived it was the base of a gluten-free pizza with oil. They charged us 9 euros plus 3 euros for being gluten-free, plus sauces for a separate €2.50.
So the appetizer that we weren't even going to order cost 14 euros because it was gluten-free, when the menu said that each roll was €1.50. I say those things have to be reported.
We had ordered a pizza, which we didn't even feel like eating anymore thanks to the unexpected appetizer (which, as I said, turned out to be another pizza) and it turns out that the entire base was burnt, black and sticky. You can already imagine the taste. We didn't eat it.
The only saving grace was the baked macaroni, and they were nothing extraordinary either.
In addition, the pizza and macaroni each had another surcharge for being gluten-free.
In short, we left quite disappointed and feeling like we had thrown our money away.
If you are celiac or gluten intolerant, don't be scammed.
Lovely staff
Lovely food
Lovely place to sit and watch the world go by whilst enjoying some delicious seriously filling pancakes and gluten free pancakes available ....fab
Wonderful in the treatment and in the preparation of homemade products. The croquettes, delicious and gluten-free, I have celiac disease. They have a menu, but we wanted to eat a poke type dish. Great! A super extensive letter. I'm a water person, but my husband ordered an Altea beer and was delighted.
It's a place where we always like to go. The staff was friendly, efficient, fast, very good professionals, we calmly let ourselves be advised by them. Perfect atmosphere, pleasant, cozy... My daughter and I went to have pancakes for breakfast one day, the best I have ever tasted, considering that I am CELIAC, and the coffee was delicious. Today we returned to eat, everything was delicious, the dessert was spectacular... and GLUTEN FREE. We will return!!! I recommend it to you👌🏻
I ordered a gluten-free pizza and they contaminated the entire pizza, it was not gluten-free, and on top of that they said it was gluten-free all the time.
A 10/10 experience! We ordered the set menu, which was perfect value for money. We had a great meal, and it was DELICIOUS. For those with celiac disease, there's a LOT of variety, including breaded dishes and everything. And on top of that, the service was wonderful, accompanied by the best views.
100% recommended.
Ideal for celiacs! 🤗
You can eat practically everything without cross-contamination. The portions are generous, and everything is very, very tasty. We ordered the meat medium rare, which they achieved in many places, and the gluten-free bun is perfectly edible without making you choke because the burgers are so juicy. The place is really pretty and has a cozy, calm, and pleasant atmosphere. The service in the kitchen and dining room is fast, and the waitresses are very pleasant and professional. The desserts are also delicious, and it's very worthwhile to order from the menu. We will definitely be back! 🫶🏻
Everything was excellent, the rice, the location, the attention. I will definitely repeat, they also have many things for celiacs and with very reasonable prices.
I've visited El Granero on several occasions for business lunches and have always been very satisfied with the food and service, which have been excellent. However, on this last occasion, the experience was quite disappointing.
I booked a table for seven people three days ago, including a child with celiac disease, and was assured they had a special menu for him. When we arrived, we were informed that there were no gluten-free croquettes, despite having previously confirmed this, and they served him ham instead. I understand that unforeseen events can arise, but it was an unpleasant surprise.
During the meal, the service was very slow, and the waiters seemed somewhat disgruntled, which detracted from the experience. Furthermore, we were told there was no hamburger left for the child and he could only choose chicken breast, which is also understandable.
When dessert arrived, we asked if the ice cream was gluten-free. The waiter checked with the kitchen again and confirmed that the gluten-free options were only vanilla and chocolate. We chose chocolate ice cream, but they brought us one with cookies on top. When we pointed this out, the waiter apologized and the meal was immediately changed.
It's important to note that celiac patients don't choose to follow a gluten-free diet; they have an autoimmune disease that requires special care. On this occasion, we felt those needs were not respected. Furthermore, the child expressed feeling left out because he didn't have his full menu and they tried to poison him with the ice cream and cookies.
Despite having had good experiences in the past, this visit was a disaster for my family. I hope they can improve their attention to special needs and how they handle unforeseen events in the future.
We went on a weekday to have a snack because on the menu we saw that they had a variety of gluten-free products, but they only had bread. We moved to things made from another municipality, but it was quite a disappointment. They didn't have almost anything we asked for. Our fault for not calling and asking before.
Maybe on weekends there is more variety
Third year coming to this restaurant and I can't say anything bad or average.
The food, based on good quality products, is very good, together with a correct staff - not so the owner, who is a great guy and very nice and friendly, apart from being the architect of the kitchen - they make year after year My family and I come to have breakfast daily (they have options for celiacs) and to eat several times in 15 days.
A fixed place to come to in Arenales del Sol.
Good food, good service, they have gluten-free bread and some options, things that are appreciated, we didn't have to wait long, the waiters were very attentive that everything was in order, in front of the beach, Javi served us and he was very nice to us, in short we liked it a lot
Highly recommended. It looks simple from the outside, but the food is very well prepared. We were served by a super-friendly waitress who recommended the delicious "escombros." Goat cheese salad with an exquisite sauce, fried fish, and very original patatas bravas. Strudel for dessert. We'll be back. And all gluten-free! Recommended for celiacs.
El Cantonet is a gastronomic treasure in Calpe. Their starters, which vary daily, surprise with each visit, while their rice dishes, especially lobster, are a true pleasure for the senses. Their homemade desserts are the finishing touch to an unforgettable experience.
In addition, all of this has an option for celiacs, including gluten-free frying.
But what really makes this restaurant special is the exceptional treatment of its team. From the moment you walk through the door, you feel at home thanks to the love and dedication of the staff. Special mention for Loli, its charming owner, who with her warmth and attention turns each visit into a unique experience.
If you are looking for a combination of spectacular gastronomy and unbeatable service, El Cantonet is a mandatory stop in Calpe. We will repeat without a doubt!
Everything was delicious! The coffee was Arabica and very good, and the matcha tea with oat milk was also delicious. They also had some gluten-free desserts.
We make reservations online and the truth is that it is very good because they give you several options and ask about allergens.
Once there, they sat us down and immediately asked about the allergic person. They offered us the menu and gave me alternative portions that they could modify. Anything that was battered could be made with chickpea flour in another special fryer. Bread for celiacs baked with its own bag.
The truth is that I felt very comfortable, I did not feel that I was in danger of cross contamination, in fact all the dishes had their gluten free sign.
The attention was very good.
The service exactly the same.
The only but that I can say: the next day we decided that we could go to eat there since we had liked it a lot, the surprise was that the waiter very kindly explained to us that for meals and especially on the weekend you have to make a reservation a week in advance. Therefore, we could not eat there. I leave this comment so that the same thing does not happen to future diners and they cannot enjoy this wonderful restaurant.
An ideal place to eat typical Alicante mountain food, with vegetarian, gluten-free, and other options.
The staff is very friendly and attentive, and the food is delicious.
100% recommended.
A very nice place where you can eat everything and surprisingly in these types of places, everything is quite delicious. I would say that the breakfasts are the weakest, but the worst was the supplement for gluten-free bread, €2.5!!!! Are we crazy?? Breakfast is served with a choice of white or whole wheat bread and if you ask for gluten-free they charge you an outrageous supplement. I have a daughter with celiac disease and this seems absurd to me. A shame.
Very unprofessional treatment on the part of the person who attended us. From the beginning, the attitude was unpleasant and disrespectful, making us feel uncomfortable at all times. The communication was impertinent and not cordial, with out of place responses. The service was slow and disorganized, as only one person was in charge of the entire restaurant. We deeply regret the experience, since as customers we expect, at least, a minimum of kindness and respect.
The food was edible, abundant but nothing to write home about.
We were looking forward to it because it was gluten-free food and it was a disappointment.
Super Italian inspired food at La Marquesa Golf. A warm welcome on arrival, a well presented dining room, and a wide choice of beautiful food on the menu. Proper gluten free pizzas are a nice addition, and nicely topped too. Prices won't break the bank either. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a nice meal out in Ciudad Quesada, and a credit to the local area.
Very positive place, cycling related. The waitresses really wait on you! Very attentive, very detailed, I really felt 'taken care of'.
The cake was gluten free which was cool! And super tasty. 🫐 + There's a shop with cycling gear / clothes
Everything is delicious.
Perfect for those with celiac disease or gluten intolerance.
They have all dishes gluten-free (except croquettes), including breaded calamari, tempura, desserts, etc.
As a recommendation, the steak tartare is a must.
The portions are adequate and the price is quite reasonable.
We go every year and the service is also very good. The owner is very friendly and kind.
We'll definitely be back because we wanted to try so many dishes. The best part is that there are plenty of gluten-free options. We ordered the bravas, the octopus, and a salad. The octopus was especially noteworthy. We ended up feeling so full that we couldn't try their wonderful desserts.
