The best gluten free treats you will find! Staff is super friendly and they have lots of options. I am a very sensitive celiac and have never had an issue with their pastries!
Thank you for existing! Their entire menu can be made gluten free!!! I had a chicken and biscuit with gravy and a cinnamon roll for the side. All gluten free deliciousness!! Guess what!? No upcharge either!
WheatFields has long been a family favorite and a perfect place to celebrate Mother's Day. While the restaurant is only open until 2 p.m., the deli is often open until 3 p.m., but not always. I never thought you could get good French onion soup to go, but they mastered it! We also got a tuna croissant sandwich and a gluten-free quiche. Both were delicious! The service was perfect as well. Not to be punny, but the icing on the cake was picking up some strawberry wedding cake cupcakes, one of several signature bakery items. I think I wish there was a Wheatfields near me?!
I love this place! I love that it's vegan and also offers a variety of gluten-free items. The shop is cute, has unique drinks, and the staff are welcoming.
As a vegetarian who was diagnosed with celiac disease 8 years ago, I thought certain parts of my eating experiences were over for the rest of my life. Then I discovered this outstanding business and the fantastic duo who run it. I cannot recommend their food options enough, both the sweet and the savory. The owners take pride in everything they make and are continually trying new things. Additionally, along with reasonable prices, they are constant professionals who are quick with communication and work hard to accommodate. I frequent Conscious Comforts so often they are saved as a favorite in my phone’s contacts. Try everything they make because it’s impossible to choose wrong here.

My wife and I had an amazing experience at The Cheesecake Factory, thanks in large part to our wonderful waitress, Pat. We were seated right away, and Pat brought our drinks almost instantly. Her attentive and friendly service made our evening unforgettable—thank you, Pat!
The gluten-free options and the SkinnyLicious menu made it easy for both of us to find delicious meals that fit our dietary needs. We were impressed that there were gluten-free options on every page of the menu, even for dessert! We enjoyed the garden salads, spicy shrimp pasta (gluten-free), and the four cheese pasta. The portions were huge, and while my only small complaint was the shrimp portion (around 60 grams), my wife loved her four cheese pasta so much, she polished off the entire dish and salad (she’s 122 lbs!).
We couldn’t leave without taking home 5 different cheesecakes to enjoy later. Overall, this was a five-star experience, largely thanks to Pat’s exceptional service. We’ll definitely be back!
Outsnding food. Have a very extensive Gluten free menu. That is much appreciated due to my wife having celiac. Owner even came to talk to us to let us know how serious they take it to make it a safe meal for someone who has celiac.
Food was Great! Husband had steak that was cooked to perfection. I had the Honey Garlic Chicken. Protocols for Celiac/Gluten Free safety were pretty good. No symptoms. Just wish they had more dessert choices for gluten free besides ice cream.
This place is delightful! The moment we walked in and set down it seemed as if we entered a friend’s home. Javier took care to ensure our party of 6 was served well. Our food was outstanding! Our gluten-free friends were so pleased at all of their delicious options! I wish we had a spot like this at our home. Outstanding!
They have things labeled as gluten free that are not. I have been sick for the last 12 hrs due to celiac disease. Celiac disease people beware, it was absolutely delicious but they gaslight you on the phone when you let them know that they gave you gluten and made you sick so that they don't get sued I guess. I had let my server know I have celiac. Very disappointing and I'm currently very sick from it
The treats are almost too pretty to eat and always phenomenal customer service. Love getting coffee from here in the mornings! Lots of options like SF coffee, gluten free and vegan cupcakes. If you love glitter, Halloween or dogs this is the place ♥️
First timer here, and self admitted "a non fan of donuts". However my fiancée and mom wanted to give this place a try, so when in Rome or Omaha.
It's a bustling little spot, unique combos of square donuts to choose from. Gluten free and vegan options available, totally awesome there. Variety of coffee drinks, juices and of course some high quality h2o.
Staff were friendly, extremely busy, but still you felt very attended to.
We chose the Oreo donut, chocolate frosted chocolate cake donut and a blueberry cake donut. Again as someone who is not a fan of donuts, WOWZA. These were phenomenal!

The workers here are awesome! I love going in to fenders because they are super knowledgeable about their menu, and I have gotten lunch and coffee here many times and never had a reaction! Would definitely recommend for celiacs/gluten intolerant people.
Sweet mags is my go-to for gluten free treats and cakes for special occasions. I’ve been a fan since I first tasted the most delicious chocolate brownie (with sprinkles) at a local coffee shop that serves their baked goods.
I also run a local business and love to send both locals and out of towners to Sweet Magnolias. There’s nothing better than someone arriving with that classic pink box.
Customer service is always great and we’re just so lucky to have this bakery in Omaha.

We've been coming here for 2 years and always enjoy the food, friendliness, and atmosphere. They have a full pastry display with beautiful baked goodies that are baked fresh every morning. The breakfast burritos are my personal favorite thing on the menu. They are well stuffed with hearty ingredients and never disappoint.
Several gluten-free and dairy-free options that don't have a weird/fake taste or consistency. The staff is kind and welcoming and happy to help. We 11/10 recommend to this small business to everyone!
Said they had gluten free options and the server asked me what gluten was. Not for the gluten free girlies. Also price wasn’t the same as the menus. Super cute place though.
I called to ask if they have gluten free options and if they cook with soy oil because my girlfriend is allergic to both. A woman answered the phone and hung up on me twice.
First visit - salad bar was good, but needs some fruits on it. Also order grilled chicken & they tried to give me battered chicken. They seemed to be confused when I said no I ordered grilled. I am gluten free, I had to tell them. Just give the customer the right thing, don't ask who took your order and look at each other like you don't know what to do. Make it right - real simple !!!
Went back after 8 years, wish I just stayed away. Used to be my favorite restaurant. They have let me down. Zero gluten free options that are also meatless, other than their house salad. And my house salad was clearly last nights salad kept in the fridge…it was completely wilted and limp with a Parmesan crisp that had nothing crisp about it. Had to cut, fold and pull apart the fridge cold crisp, that should break when tapped with your fork edge. Sides did not come with our sandwiches , I had the Jamaican jerk wrap with a side salad (it came with no side) and the side salad was not even substituted as a side for gluten free people when their meal came with a side. Would have chosen a different meal, if the rest of my party could have had a real dinner. Unfortunately, a waste of time. Because of their lack of creativity in their food and lack of respect for people with sensitivities, I will not be going back (even though I can eat gluten) because it was that bad.
Ordered Meat Me and Brian's Song with gluten-free crust. It was very good with plenty of toppings. I'm Celiac and did not have a reaction. They took precautions including not cutting the pizza to avoid cross contamination.
I absolutely love this place!! Very nice, knowlegable staff, very clean, great atmosphere for the whole family. And a ton of healthy things and yes there is gluten free products here as well. Have fun!! :)
Let me just start off with WOW. It's so hard to find a gluten free anything here in omaha and to find a resturant that's more than accommodating is An amazing feeling. I had their blue bowl and at first I was hesistant but when I tried it OH MY GOODNESS. This place has earned a repeat customer.
Just got into town from California and the food is amazing. All dressings and sauces are so good. Pizza was good but a little on the thin side. Nice that they have gluten free. Well worth coming.
Great food. Good prices. Personal sized pizzas, you can build your own or pick a speciality pizza. Gluten free crust available (and better than the regular crust in my mom’s opinion). Clean, quick and friendly! I’d give 6 stars if I could
Andrew served us! Andrew is very polite, and gave us some good recommendations upon inquiry. We ended up choosing two items that were mentioned. I had the Scallop and Pork Belly Carbonara. It was a good portion size with delightfully buttery scallops and deliciously tender pork belly. I loved the creamy egg yolk sauce! The lemons garnishing the plate added a nice zest.
I also got to try the Honey Soy Glazed Chicken. We don't have any gluten intolerance, but that dish happens to be gluten free and I can vouch for it being a great choice! I particularly enjoy how this dish is out together visually. It's beautiful, and I love the glaze on the chicken.
We finished our meal by sharing a slice of Chocolate Dobos Torte, and I don't remember if we were told what sauce was glazed onto the cake but it was a pleasant way to finish our evening.
As we ate, I looked over to the bar area, and the staff were smiling and laughing together during a brief moment. While this was only a glimpse, I sincerely hope the staff enjoy working here as much as it seemed they do.
I always make sure to leave a good tip, but I hope you're all getting paid well because it seems like you're doing fantastic. Be proud of your work!
Thank you, Andrew. :)
Paper Moon Pastries is an absolute gem outside Lincoln, especially for anyone looking for top-notch gluten-free baked goods. They’re only open on Saturdays, which makes the experience feel even more special, like waiting all week as a kid for your favorite weekend cartoons. And trust me, the trip out to Cortland is worth planning around.
I’ve tried their cupcakes, coffee cake, and pie, and every single item was impressive for gluten-free bakery goods. The flavors are rich, the texture is spot on, and many people would not even be able to tell they’re gluten-free. The cupcakes are moist and perfectly balanced, and the coffee cake has that soft, crumbly texture you hope for. My wife is gluten-free, and we both agree this is hands down some of the best gluten-free baking we’ve ever come across, which is why we often make the half-hour trip down to Cortland just for the treats.
Unsurprisingly, they sell out quickly, so if you want the best selection, get there early on Saturday morning. Paper Moon is a must-visit for anyone on a gluten-free diet who loves a great pastry!
This time I had the pesto panini sandwich, with chicken added. While the flavor of the sandwich was fine, I was disappointed that - for the additional $3.00 - there was very little chicken added. First time in a long time that I've been disappointed with food at your restaurant.
To mention pluses -- I do love the variety of your drinks, meals & sandwiches, and appreciate all your freshly made gluten-free baked goods.
Recently my bride and I had breakfast here. we were looking for a local place that had gluten-free options. I am so glad we came here. the people that worked there were warm and friendly. the food was amazing and is someplace everyone should go for breakfast. 10 stars
This is one of my favorite places to go for breakfast. I am gluten-free, and they offer a gf toast, but I have found that I can also do well with their regular sourdough toast from Le Quartier. The owners and the baristas are very friendly. Give it a try, I think you will love it too!
We ordered the cauliflower flat bread and the corned beef sandwich with tots, and got a blueberry pop tart to go.
The cauliflower flat bread was everything I needed. If you’re gluten free, I highly recommend it.
The pop tart was also delicious.
The corned beef sandwich was just ok, but the tots were tasty.
I’ll definitely be going back here whenever we’re in the area.
