This was the best gluten free burger I've ever had. Gluten free buns aren't normally very good but this was amazing. My wife got one of their salmon entrees and loved it as well. We got in faster than we thought and our server was attentive and friendly.
Always great service and the coffee is delightful. Iβll add that the gluten free baked goods are amazing. Iβm not a gluten free person and generally hate gluten free baked goods, but these are outright delicious. Iβd never have guessed they were gluten free and still donβt understand what magic they use.
Weβve dined at Vintage many times before and find it a reliable, tasty alternative in our dining routine. Courses are fairly priced, the staff is nice and attentive, and the food serving sizes and tastes are reliably good. Dining is outdoors either semi-exposed or under a very large and secure tent. The view of the Physic Estate is delightful and the grounds provide an escape for the youngest diners to stretch their legs if bored at the table.
We had the prosciutto a baked Brie appetizers, both of which were high quality, nicely presented, and very tasty. The pesto pasta and lamb shank were our diner selections and also delicious.
Vintage is BYOB which offers a cost savings. MAC members are offered a dining discount - bring your membership card. Parking is convenient, ample and FREE! There are no steps to access the restaurant. This restaurant is also very accommodating for anyone with a gluten issue. We will dine here again and recommend you give Vintage a try.
Went early to avoid the beach Sunday breakfast rush. Service was fast and the food was good. They also had gluten free pancakes which my daughter loved.
Server messed up order and he tried to explain it look like we ordered the wrong thing. My daughter has Celiac and did not feel comfortable eating there as nothing in menu even remotely offers gluten free items, server says " Are you just not hungry". It is not your business.Know your place. Needed separate checks and he stated only 2 could be done. Such bull. There were 9 people in the party. Brendan, If you are busy and cannot handle a 9 top, state that. You clearly did not do steps of service. We had bread plates at the table and you did not bring over bread. Nor did you refill water without being asked. You were friendly but you need to stop taking tables if you cannot handle them. We were very limited on time or we would have our right meals made for us. Time to update the dated Restaurant a tad. The 1960s are calling and would like their uniforms back. Hideous.
I am a bit confused about everyone praising the GF chocolate chip muffins. They looked gorgeous but they were on an uncovered tray right up against a tray of regular blueberry muffins. I was not at all comfortable with the high possibility of cross contamination. Not sure why other people with celiac were ok with thatβ¦
Five stars all around. The gluten free wraps are deceiving good. They donβt taste gluten free, but I assure you, they are!
The back patio is cool and comfortable. Youβre sitting at a beach dune without being on the sand.
Five stars specifically for Kaylee. She is always helpful and just one of the kindest souls on the boardwalk. Itβs always good to say hello to her, season after season.
Thanks again for a fantastic afternoon.
Good location right across from the beach. Reasonable prices and gluten free options available. Kitchen will accommodate gf menu, just ask. Great service and relaxing atmosphere.
Fantastic option for dinner. The pickle brined wing were some of the best I've EVER had! You don't taste pickles, so don't think of them that way. They're super tender and then smoked, I think. I could eat them for days. I got extra sauces to dip in. Sweet Thai and hot sauce. My wife had what looked like a very good acorn squash dish and I also loved the halibut special with green beans and mushrooms. Service was very good. The timing on dish delivery was perfect. The place was a bit empty for a Saturday night, but it was very early spring. Loved that they have gluten free options and know what is/isn't GF. I will return and recommend. The bar also looks decent for a pre-dinner drink.
The most interesting restaurant we've found in Cape May. It had great seafood, meat, and vegan, and gluten free options cooked in tasty spices. It was highly enjoyed by adults and kids.
Stopped in for a morning beverage. I got a blended vanilla chia latte, and we split a cinnamon roll. They heated it for us too the perfect temperature. The service was quick.
They had some gluten free cookies that were great.
We ate on the recently remodeled porch for our anniversary. The food was some of the best I have had, farm-to-kitchen fresh. I do not eat gluten and the waiter and kitchen staff were very helpful with my choices. I had the Heritage Tomato Salad with Burrata and Stone Fruit. Each bite was a treat. The Cape May Scallops were perfectly cooked and the risotto was just amazing. The mango/passion fruit sorbet was a perfect finish to our meal on a warm evening.
when we dined at this restaurant I made clear to our server that I have celiacβs disease which means I am allergic to wheat. Being in the food service industry means you should be well versed in food allergy information and cross contamination. I was given a steak with breaded onions on top and when I said to the server I canβt eat this he took the steak back and one minute later brought it back out with the onions removed. I repeated I cannot eat this if you just scraped the onions off it is cross contaminated and I was told there is nothing they can do. It is a $60 meal that was also over cooked. My husbands steak was over cooked as well. The table next to us had 4 steaks that where over cooked. The dining experience was very disappointing. If someone said they had a peanut allergy would you just say how whoops just wipe those off the plate ? No you could cause a serious health problem.
Please better educate your staff and chef in regards to food allergy.
I have celiac disease they took precautions to keep me safe including disposable pan and plastic pizza cutter for me to slice it myself.... id give 10 stars if I could for food prep and awareness ππ
What a great quick breakfast place! Great location! Kind and friendly and delish!! They are so accommodating, too. We had a little poodle with my family and the worker offered him a treat. He is a picky little dog and turned it down. She was determined to give him a treat so she whipped out 2 more options for our poodle to try. Even though he snubbed all 3 treats, it was so generous of her! What a good laugh.
Then, even better, I brought my own Gluten Free bagel to see if I can get an Bacon Egg and Cheese on the side to put on my bagel myself. The owner (I think) offered to take my bagel for me and prepared me a delicious Bacon Egg and Cheese on my own GF bagel! (They do offer gluten free bread but I really wanted a bagel sandwich) I don't have cross contamination issues so this was perfect for me. It made me so happy! Thank you and can't wait to go back when we visit Cape May again. Next time, I'm trying the Lox ;)
Delightful fine dining experience in Cape May. As usual, the more upscale the restaurant, the easier it is to order. The server said nearly everything on the menu was already gf or could easily be modified to be gf. I had wonderful stuffed clams, mahi mahi with sausage and beans in a beautiful broth, and a banana pudding dessert that was modified by leaving out the cookie that would have served as the base of the pudding. Everything was excellent and delicious. Highly recommend for a special dining experience.
I love coming here. I really think the food is great and the prices are so affordable and you get large portions. I highly recommend coming here. The place is small and tight, but the great food just overcomes the tiny restaurant. The menu has a lot of healthy and gluten free options. The salads are wonderful. The pita and hummus are outstanding. I can't wait to go back!
