The silver diner is a great restaurant, offering a variety of foods vegan as well as all gluten-free, many of choices. You can ask for breakfast, also can have lunch or dinner our during breakfast hours. Sebastian was our server today he has a great personality, quick server and very polite. I would recommend the silver diner if you’re in the Fairfax area.
Omg, I wish I had discovered this place sooner! I can’t eat gluten or dairy and this place was such a find for my restricted diet! As well as a great find for people with regular diets! I had a savory and sweet crepe and both were perfection!
Wonderful little gluten free bakery with a wide selection of vegan options! Great place to grab a quick treat. Their pop tarts and dinner rolls are incredible 🤤
Franco was great. Food was decent for a meal that I ate because it was food. He was able to confidently tell me what was gluten free and when he asked if everything was good and I said "I'm gravy" he said "you can't have gravy." I love that. He was very easily able to handle everything my party of 23 (I have a lot of friends, as I am very popular and likable) requested. Even the most ridiculous such as "1 slice of cheese on the side of the burger but slightly melted to perfection". Franco was amazing and definitely made our meal one I will remember for the next 20 minutes.

This is absolutely one of our favorite spots! We have been going here for over a decade and will continue to do so for as long as we are in the area. The food is delicious, cocktails are great and they have a great beer and whiskey selection. Service is always superb even when busy. The kitchen is careful with food intolerance handling my Celiac (Gluten-free) and my son's Dairy allergy with ease. A must try is the Potato soup and the Shepherds pie. An honorable mention for the Cottage pie and their burgers!
Healthy and delicious. Not a greasy spoon type breakfast but a healthy and delicious restaurant. Love this place. Eat here once or twice a month. They do Gluten Free so the wife is able to enjoy as well.
Very upset I ordered the scrambled egg bowl with grilled chicken for breakfast. Since I am gluten free and it is the only item I order for breakfast every time at this location. However when I ordered it this time the eggs were NOT scrambled and were just egg whites! I tried to tell the employee but she said that’s how they always make it when I know that was a lie because I order it 3 times a week. The employee was rude and handled the situation extremely poorly by making up excuses that were not true.
I enjoy the drinks and they always have creative seasonal options. It’s nice that they have gluten free options, but the sandwich bread is highly disappointing. For an upcharge, you get bread that is palm-sized (~2.5 x 3 inches) and has a cardboard-like texture. Tiny bread also means less fillings for a higher price. Banana in the photo for scale.
They didn’t have regular drip coffee, so I had to have a cold brew. A small cold brew came to $6 which seems a little much…the atmosphere was great and it was in a good location. I didn’t see any gluten free options, but there were dairy free options for the coffees. The atmosphere was the part I felt like would maybe bring me back.
We've been living pretty much across the street from the Fairfax location for over a year and JUST discovered it about two months ago- such a shame! We LOVE Simply Social! The coffee is fantastic, their avocado toast is delicious (they have a great gluten free option!) and Sam is simply wonderful! He's such a delight, always pleasant and helpful- so much so that you can tell he really enjoys his job. We've raved about this place and will continue to as long as their service remains impeccable!
Absolutely amazing! I can’t have gluten and they went out of their way to make sure I wasn’t going to have any issues with cross contamination, kept me informed of all of the options available to me, and just generally made it a wonderful experience. The manager is fantastic and I will be going back
Came here with my son and his Grandma after shoe shopping and had an excellent lunch! We checked every ingredient to make sure my son was safe with his dairy allergy. The 2 servers assisting us worked as a team and made the experience seamless. We've eaten here before and I have gotten sick(Celiac) so I was nervous and the server took extra care and even recommended gluten free items with reduced cross contamination risk and helped me order a delicious cheesecake!
I’m gluten free and almost every item on the menu can be made gluten free and is delicious! Friendly staff, owner greets all diners like an old friend. Love this place
I love this place! You won’t be disappointed with anything you order. Corn tortillas are gluten free but warmed on the same grill as the flour tortillas. Ask that they keep the foil under the tortillas while warming them. This helps cut down on the cross contamination.

Staff was very nice - I put on my instructions whilst using the online kiosk to remove any almond products - just in case since I know a lot of granola is made with almond - I have an almond allergy. The kind lady behind the register saw my request and asked me if I'd perfer to switch to a gluten free granola because their regular granola did contain almond.
I was very happy with how kind she was with the switch because of the almond.
Also I might be biased because I LOVE açaí bowls but the bowl I got was absolutely delicious!

The cashier took time and effort to figure out ingredients because of my allergies. The gluten free noodles and broth were flavorful and the portions are large. I was not crazy about the stinky tofu because it needed salt. But the texture was good.
Ate in the bar. Kathy was amazing and worked with the chef to give me a safe gluten free meal. We felt comfortable and at home and will definitely be back. Happy hour prices are amazing!
We're big fans of Guava Bakery! Every treat we've tried has been bursting with flavor and freshness. Even their flan, which I'm usually not a fan of, is absolutely delicious. The service is consistently excellent, and the bakery itself is clean and welcoming. Looking forward to them adding more gluten free goodies!

Had extra time between and early morning diagnostic test and my Doctor consult, so hit up Sofias for the first time for some coffee.. fresh hot delish.. but then the aroma of the breakfast griddle hit me, so why not grab a Denver Omlette while I am at it!! Super accomodating to my Dairy & Gluten Free requests and whipped me up some home fries instead of toast and skipped the cheddar.. good people with smiles ( you can see it in their eyes since they are wearing masks!!) when you walk in.

They don't give their food away and don't expect them to. You are going to spend at least $10 on lunch but I have been coming to doctors appointments from 4 hours away to this complex for 5 years and they have the best tomato soup, fried rice, potato salad and bulgogi of anywhere I have tried. Sometimes I buy 2 of something and bring one home since it's such a treat. They even stock gluten free bread due to the amount of gluten free people who use our doctors office, so I can get sandwiches there. They are the best!
