Gluten free vegan isn’t easy to find and I was so happy that Lotus Cafe had plenty of options for me! I got a Sautéed Tofu Bowl + avocado and it was so delicious!!! Been here several times. Food is always good. My daughter has a wheat allergy and they have good gluten-free options. And they work with. For example, sometimes she asks for the Philly sandwich with no bun and over the fries. So good. Go early to avoid crowds. Bar staff is great and the rotating specials are always worth a try.

The atmosphere of the restaurant is cute but the food and the wait really needs to be improved.
When ordering I confirmed what items could be made gluten free and I placed an order for one of the breakfast sandwiches. My husbands food came out within a reasonable time and I had to remind my server multiple times that I was still waiting. I waited an additional 20-30 minutes after my husbands food arrived. Once it arrived, I’m convinced that it was not gluten free like i had ordered. The server was nice and gave us a desert but they definitely need to work on the kitchen / wait time and food allergies if they are going to offer it on the menu.
