I have just been diagnosed with celiac and when you are visiting a city you don't know with non-celiac friends, it's not easy to find something for lunch. It's good, and colorful. Pleasant terrace sheltered from the crowds not far from rue Ste Catherine. I was able to eat a Bordeaux cannelé. I had lunch there and took some sandwich bread to take away. I recommend and I will come back. THANKS
Reservation taken for a bachelorette party brunch, we are not disappointed on the contrary! The setting is very cozy, the brunch was delicious (vegan and gluten-free option for my part, excellent and nourishing! I highly recommend!
Great atmosphere. Very good ice cream and waffles, including gluten-free and lactose-free options. The ladies who work here are very friendly! I highly recommend it.
Superb little restaurant, you don't expect to find a vegetarian restaurant (and almost all gluten-free) in a town like Sarlat! Being a vegetarian it's really great, and especially such a good restaurant, with fresh and delicious flavors and adorable and attentive service. The rest of my family who are far from vegetarian also enjoyed it, so thank you!! And then a little away from the hustle and bustle of the city, a beautiful shaded terrace is perfect
very nice restaurant in pre season restaurant
calm facing the port and friendly and pleasant service
choice of buckwheat pancakes (therefore gluten-free) even for dessert
moderate price - holiday vouchers accepted
Absolutely incredible place with the kindest and most helpful task.
Our go-to for our son with Coeliac disease to have a nice dinner out and feel safe.
The food is different every day. It’s tasty. And reasonably priced for the quality.
Love it every time we go and we are fast becoming loyal customers.
Milwaukee Café is a very nice place. We were here for breakfast. The staff was super friendly and helpful. There are many gluten-free options on the menue, a great smoothie selection, and an amazing avocado toast. 🫶
I love this establishment.
The cozy and neat decoration gives you the impression of being at home.
Possibility of eating sweet and savory.
chai latte (among others) available and available in vegetable milk.
There are gluten-free, vegetarian...
seasonal and quality products.
And the welcome is pleasant.
I highly recommend
(but not too much because it has become my new favorite place to hang out in La Rochelle and I would like there to be free tables if necessary 😉)
Very delicious and varied gluten-free galettes.
They can also be eaten sweets. The chocolate one, very good. Even better if they add a little more chocolate ;-)
The waitress spoke Spanish very well.
Very nice place. We ate on the terrace.
What an absolute Gem of a Vegan restaurant. I can’t praise the crew here enough. We arrived in Limoges after lunch service had finished and with the kitchen being closed but the guys at La Petite Graine were so welcoming and sorted us out with some delicious Hot soup & Tiramisu cake 😍 We returned Saturday for the full lunch experience, the place was packed and the vibe was perfect. We devoured the Burger with an exquisite paprika Mayo and still had room for quite possibly the best Banoffee cake we’ve ever had our lives.
I just want to send out a special mention to the owners and creators Benjamin and Naomi (the Chef). Everything they use in their recipes is produce grown in their own gardens, it doesn’t get any fresher than that, this is allows them to make more dedicated dishes centred around what’s in season. Also, all the cakes are Gluten free & divine!
There isn’t a rating high enough for these guys so all we can say is get in there, eat as much as you can and you won’t be disappointed.
We’ll be back soon, until then, good luck guys, not that you need it!
au revoir et merci pour votre hospitalité
small room, but EXCELLENT meal! I would like to be able to give more than 5 stars - refined dishes, delicious, vegetarian, gluten-free, authentic cuisine; Comté samosa...to be consumed without moderation for my part.
Great choice for gluten intolerant people. Wide variety of galettes and starters. Service was nice but there were misunderstandings due to the language barrier.
Very pleasant welcome and very good pastries, not too sweet in addition to having lactose meaning.
Possibility of having gluten-free pastries, in any case we are very well advised. The decor is very nice too, quiet while being in the center of Bordeaux. Enough to refresh yourself, with deliciousness, calm and conviviality 🙂
That was actually really good. A gluten-free crêpes, all organic, artesian fish, local produce. A place where you can eat while other places are closed. Organic dry cider is one of the best.
The values of this place make it worth coming. Romantic atmosphere included.

It is not a 100% gluten-free place, but they only eat the salad and the meat with potatoes. Therefore, what they offer in principle is gluten-free. The potatoes are homemade. The meat comes in a sauce (when talking to the waiters they told me it was also gluten-free) that for my taste contained a lot of oil, but the meat was just right. The place is very large but the tables are too close together. In general it is not bad.
A very warm welcome, it feels so good, it’s cozy
The cakes are refined, the menu is nice, it's gluten-free, vegetable cream, fine milk,.......
I recommend it, tea, coffee, selection
A superb place to discover
Great place for galettes particularly for those of us who require no gluten! They also have gluten free cheese cake for dessert. House white wine was also excellent! Would definitely recommend!
Vegetable Christmas log (lactose-free, gluten-free and egg-free).
A very nice size for 4 people. Affordable.
A real joy for me who is intolerant with a strict diet (a real headache during the holidays).
The log is beautiful and really good.
What can I say other than THANK YOU because you are one of the few in the region to succeed in making 100% plant-based products that are beautiful and really good. Thanks to you I am not deprived of dessert for the holidays. Happy holidays.
Finally a pizzeria where gluten-free people can also eat!! 🍕 with perfectly executed gluten-free dough recipe, not dry at all, we enjoyed ourselves it's been so long, the intolerant know what I'm talking about! Thank you, we will get back to you very soon!
Excellent gluten-free cakes, both for a snack and for a birthday ;)!
Karine's selection of products is always interesting and tasty. A place where it's good to chat and discover local and connected artisans and creations 🌿
I can agree with the comments here that mentioned high quality ingredients are being used.
They have an open kitchen visible from your table. The 3 waitress were all kind and helpful. Chef looked like he is enjoying making his creations.
It is the kind of restaurant where probably all dishes are great. We went for a classic galette and then for a sweet one with buckwheat ice cream (try it please! It was a pleasant surprise). Options for gluten intolerant guests available as they use different flour.
SINGLUTEN Burger
suitable for celiacs. Pretty good bread.
Complete burgers with potatoes and salad. With drink €15.
Terrace in the Sun. Very nice. Efficient service.
The Modjo restaurant offers a six-course menu at 88 euros and a four-course menu at 72 euros. These set menus are designed to provide a consistent dining experience, but the lack of choice may not please all customers.
Welcome and atmosphere:
The welcome at Modjo is particularly pleasant. The staff is cheerful and attentive, which contributes to a positive first impression. The restaurant room, spread over two levels, is nicely decorated and well appointed, offering a warm and friendly atmosphere. This split-level configuration adds an interesting dimension to the space, allowing for more intimate dining areas.
Mandatory discovery:
One of the notable points of the Modjo restaurant is its obligatory discovery menu. While this may provide an exciting culinary adventure for some, others may lament the lack of flexibility in choosing dishes. This format imposes a certain rigidity which may not suit all palates.
Quality of dishes:
The dishes served at Modjo elicit mixed reactions. On the one hand, the soup, which is often a starter dish, did not live up to expectations. Its lack of flavor and depth of taste can be a disappointment to those who enjoy well-prepared soups. Likewise, the desserts failed to impress, lacking creativity and taste.
Culinary highlights:
However, there are aspects of Modjo's cooking that are worth highlighting. The bread, served as desired, is exceptionally good. Its freshness and texture make it a delicious accompaniment that complements other dishes well. In addition, the sweet treats offered at the end of the meal are a pleasant surprise, adding a sweet touch to round off the culinary experience.
Accessibility:
An important negative point to mention is the accessibility of the toilets. These are not suitable for people with disabilities, which can be a major problem for affected customers. Additionally, the fact that there are no separate toilets for men and women may be perceived as a lack of comfort and privacy.
Gluten free:
A positive aspect to note is that Modjo accepts gluten-free requests, which shows consideration for the specific dietary needs of its customers. This allows those following a gluten-free diet to fully enjoy their meal without worrying about cross-contamination issues.
Two of us came there for brunch in the middle of the week (a real plus of not having to wait until Sunday!!)
My companion enjoyed the brunch formula. It is possible to choose 2 waffles with 4 toppings, a hot drink, a cold drink and a dessert.
However, I was quite disappointed not by the variety or the service, but by the taste and texture of what replaces the lactose in the waffle batter, which was clearly not to my taste. (The service is impeccable, and which is clearly differentiated by different offers without lactose, gluten, etc.).
Also disappointed with the Hummus topping, which is just crushed chickpeas, no olive oil or seasoning, so you have to like it!
The desserts were quite good and delicious, we had the Oreo Cake (Lactose-free!) and the chocolate mousse cake.
However, I would like to emphasize again that it is entirely possible to have a lactose-free lunch; we were kindly offered a lactose-free waffle cooked in olive oil.
It is for this reason that I still recommend a brunch at AmaZone Café, due to the quality of the service, the adaptation according to everyone's intolerance, and the formula which remains very gourmet for someone. one being able to eat a waffle with milk. (As well as the place which is very nice and cozy)
Gluten-free and very original crepes. Very large portions and very very delicious.
Very friendly and attentive staff.
I recommend it if you come to Saint Jean de Luz
Very nice and cozy place. The service is very good, they are very friendly. It is not a 100% gluten-free place, but they have a menu where you can find dishes that are gluten-free and those that can be adapted. It is nice to find places where gluten-free dishes are clearly indicated. It is worth highlighting how good the banana bread was (gluten-free dessert).
I ate a gluten-free pasta with truffles, cream of mushrooms and burrata. I really complimented the waiter on the cooking of the gluten-free pasta because it was perfect (I was afraid it would be overcooked), difficult to find even in Italy honestly...
However, the dish wasn't bad at all!
Very cozy little tea room, very warm welcome despite the late hour
Very tempting proposal for homemade gluten-free pastries
Recommended to have a good time
We came twice for breakfast/brunch and we were never disappointed. The dishes are delicious and delicious. A little expensive but within Hossegor prices.
plus, lots of gluten-free and veggie/vegan options 🌱
We'll come back.
Great place! the food is good, the staff is cool and very adaptive, I don't eat gluten and they offered me some really nice alternatives. We went there with a friend and will happily return :).
This creperie warmed us up nicely in this stormy weather this evening. But magnificent spectacle in the bay of St Jean de Luz, breathtaking. As for our view inside this creperie, it was most pleasant. The service, the smile, the love of a job well done on all levels. Suitable for gluten-lactose free. The great cuisine, the incredibly tasty pancakes and pancakes. We will definitely return. Well done to the whole team. Thank you for this fabulous exchange, Valérie, you are extraordinary...
See you soon, 🌹🥰🙏💙😇

I am Gluten Lactose intolerant.
They were able to bounce back and present me with a suitable Brunch.
The managers and staff are great.
So for me I will put this suggestion on the menu and really 1 dish without fish or cream.
Thanks again
Simple restaurant where you eat very well! We took 1 starter for 2 and each a main course and we didn't have room for dessert!! Everything was very good and clever, particularly the little notes indicating the gluten-free thrillers 👍🏻👍🏻
The staff is smiling, helpful and gives good advice
The atmosphere is noisy because there are people, which is a good sign
Thank you for this moment
Great, warm and family welcome, very good cuisine, gluten-free options and attentive to allergens. I recommend a real happiness. The decor and atmosphere are great.
