I went for dinner with my husband. The restaurant is a bit dated and desolate. The fish was fresh though and they served us a GLUTEN-FREE first course without any problems! So I recommend it for those who, like me, are celiac.

One of the historic Pizzerias in Francavilla! Always managed by the same family with a lot of passion. The pizza is really good. There is the possibility of choosing the dough including gluten-free (non-frozen base). Good raw materials used. Good choice of beers. Very kind owners and staff.
Suggestive place and very good cuisine!
They are very well organized for people intolerant to gluten!
Very friendly staff and makes you feel at ease in an environment surrounded by the sea.
Wide gluten free choice and truly excellent gluten free pizza, among the best I've ever eaten! The kebabs and first courses are also delicious. Friendly staff, nice and well-kept location with convenient parking outside. Super recommended! ⭐️
My wife is intolerant to GLUTEN and Lactose: I expected flavourless and flat preparations. Instead Cinzia manages to CREATE incredible desserts, dishes and more: delicious and is always looking for innovations that combine intolerances, taste and presentations.
Historic place.
Informal, clean, beautiful and well-kept restaurant.
Excellent service, friendly and professional staff.
Excellent quality cured meats, cheeses and meats.
It should be noted that there are several gluten free dishes on the menu.
Excellent quality/price ratio
If you pass through Vasto it becomes an obligatory stop
The staff is well informed about celiac disease and particularly attentive to contamination. Good gluten-free food. The venue is part of the AIC circuit. I also recommend this place to people with celiac disease.
Excellent food, the restaurant is Aic certified and is a guarantee for celiac people like me. Excellent gluten-free pizza, space-age kebabs. I recommend this place!
I had lunch in this lovely restaurant in Roccascalegna in the province of Chieti and I was truly deeply impressed and happily satisfied.
The food was truly excellent, starting from the appetizers, with the cacio e ova pallotte reigning supreme, but also many quality cured meats and cheeses, accompanied by local honeys and jams.
The first one I ordered with mushrooms and truffles was also excellent, as were the drinks. There is also a wide range of vegan and gluten free options.
Prices are also really super, as is the wonderful welcome and friendliness of Nicola and Valentina.
Civico 20 is not a simple restaurant: Nicola and Valentina like to call it a Risto Art Gallery, where you can find photography exhibitions displayed within the walls of the restaurant and where cooking workshops, themed literary and food and wine events are periodically organised.
Highly recommended.
Wide selection of gluten-free pastries, with plenty of dairy-free choices too. Here you can also taste Abruzzo specialities, in a gluten-free version, at a "normal" price: I wish there was one in my area too!
I was at this place yesterday, after I had heard about it because I have 2 celiac daughters, they make gluten-free pizza here. The place is nice, large, with a small parking lot outside. The normal pizza is good, with long-leavened dough, well-topped and cooked in a non-wood oven. You can improve on the gluten-free: we asked for margheritas with sausages and we were told that they don't have sausages (one of the children's favorite foods). We then asked for the addition of cooked ham on a pizza, with the supplement of 2 euros and 50 (for half a slice of ham)! The draft beer that was served to me wasn't great, while for the girls we asked for a Coke and we were served a similar one.
For 3 pizzas, 2 of which were gluten-free (a normal capricciosa, a Margherita and a Margherita with cooked ham) 1 Coke, 1 still water and 2 small draft beers we received a bill of €51.50. Despite the high prices, I recommend it on regular pizza, but the gluten free ones aren't that great!
All very good, accompanied by kindness and professionalism. The excellent gluten-free dishes were so good and quiet that I hadn't eaten so much. Optimal
Mamitas turned out to be a very pleasant discovery. The quality of the raw materials is indisputable: very fresh fish, enhanced by a cuisine that knows how to enhance the flavor with balance and creativity.
Even though it was a Sunday and the restaurant was very busy, the service was quick and efficient.
One aspect that we particularly appreciated was the attention given to dietary needs: my partner, who is celiac, was able to enjoy almost all the dishes without problems, and those that were not compatible were promptly adapted.
A restaurant that combines quality, care and attention to the customer. Absolutely recommended.
I found out about this restaurant through friends and Facebook. I have been coming for several years and have never had any kind of problem. I fell in love with their delicious and fantastic dishes, prepared with care, made by hand and with love. The pizza is highly digestible, prepared with quality ingredients and toppings. The arancini and kebabs are excellent, truly top-notch. Same thing for homemade desserts. Gluten-free, lactose intolerant alternatives available...
Family-run business, very kind staff, available for any need and splendid. The entrance to the restaurant is also accessible for those in wheelchairs, parking is available on the street and in Piazza Garibaldi. I recommend this place to everyone for those looking to eat excellent and healthy food at affordable prices and quality raw materials.
We arrived at the restaurant at 6:40 PM. Online it says they open at 5:00 PM, but we were turned away and told they don’t open until 7:30 PM. We had walked a longer distance to get there, so this was quite disappointing.
We came back at 7:30 PM. My partner had a regular pizza, which was excellent – full of flavor with a great, crispy crust!
I had a gluten-free pizza, unfortunately the worst I’ve ever had in Italy. :( The tomato sauce tasted like plain, unseasoned canned tomatoes – no salt, no herbs, no flavor at all. The crust was completely soggy from the watery sauce. I let my partner try it and he also found it barely edible. Really disappointing.
To be fair, the staff was friendly and welcoming, and the regular pizza showed that the kitchen can deliver great quality – just not with the gluten-free option, sadly.
To appreciate the abundance of dishes, the quality of the food, the courtesy of the service and above all the attention to gluten free. To note and return next time when I visit Abruzzo. Well done everyone and congratulations ❤️
Very good pizzeria, also included in the Gambero Rosso guide, in fact you can see the recommended pizzas on the menu. The choice is very wide, perhaps too much so. Reading the menu takes a really long time, especially for people like me who are in this place for the first time, so the time required to order becomes considerable. I therefore allow myself to give some advice to the owners, namely the inclusion of photos under each proposal: it could make the choice more immediate, it would certainly have helped me! I tried three different pizzas and I can say that there is something for all tastes, from the simplest to the most sophisticated. The attention that the restaurant has for all intolerances is notable: they have lactose-free mozzarella and prepare gluten-free pizzas for the added price of €3!

In this place we found passion and competence, a combination that is difficult to find.
The new owners (a wonderful couple) he chef and she at the tables, of such skill that we wish them only success.
Welcomed and pampered, kindness and flavor that you didn't feel the origins of the place 😄 former police barracks complete with cell.
Well done and keep going 🫠
I would see again (personal taste) the crepes with meat sauce... the rest was heavenly especially the gluten free ove cacio e pepe.
An experience to be repeated that I highly recommend. Mrs. Assunta is really friendly and paid particular attention to me as I requested to eat gluten-free.
Everything was really tasty and well prepared from the starters to the coffee.
Then finding a Rossana candy on the plate is the best business card in my opinion.
