I'll start by saying that we're not from the area, we looked for this place on the internet reading the reviews that fully reflect what they say. We were welcomed and served with extreme kindness, attention to serving gluten-free dishes and recommending the dishes. We couldn't read the menu in dialect but the owner translated and explained all the dishes to us! I recommend the courgette flowers and the very tender horse meat...not to mention the potatoes and mussels....linguine with sea urchins, a scent.... A place to return and recommend for celiacs and non-celiacs!

SO MUCH QUALITY. Among so much variety of choice I tasted Pittule, Cocule, Crocchè and Salento artisanal beers. Everything perfect and made on the spot! The owner is professional, kind and helpful. There is also a small selection of quality wines and a gluten-free menu.

Wow!! The pizza here is some of the best we have had in Italy (and that is a lot 🤭). The gluten free was actual self made dough, not a ready made pizza, and super thin and crispy. I have never tasted anything like it! The toppings were also great, very fresh and a good amount of toppings. We had vegetarian pizza’s, and they had quite a few options. If you are vegetarian, I would only recommend to stick with the vegetarian pizza’s. Or if you want meat removed from a non-vegetarian pizza, I recommend to add an extra cheese topping (stracciatella, etc.) Still delicious though, we were stuffed, will save this place for next time! The waitresses were also very lovely and helpful, making sure we were okay :)

We chose Ristorante Alex for a dinner with colleagues and the experience was excellent from every point of view. The menu is varied and well-structured, with both seafood and meat options, including options for celiacs. The real strength of the restaurant is the attention to the raw materials, the fish is undoubtedly very fresh and is enhanced by careful preparations and elegant plating, respecting and enhancing the authentic flavor of the ingredients. We started with a mixed seafood appetizer and a selection of raw fish, accompanied by various sauces and flavored salts that enhanced the taste. As a first course, the lemon tagliolini with scampi tartare, shrimp and stracciatella was simply exquisite. The Catalan-style octopus was also excellent, tender and well-seasoned. We finished with desserts that were a pleasant surprise, memorable both for the presentation and the taste. The staff was courteous, attentive and always available, guaranteeing an impeccable service. The quality-price ratio was also excellent, fully justified by the quality of the raw materials and the attention to every detail. I will return with great pleasure

A place highly recommended by a family member of mine, we ate quite well, the dishes were very tasty and well seasoned I absolutely did not like the behavior of the owner who seemed to be doing us a favor, nor the fact that during the booking phase he had indicated to me that my celiac wife could easily eat a first course, which however did not happen, as the only first course the dish available for her was a seafood risotto which unfortunately could only be served if 2 people liked it. He had to eat a second course and a side dish Paid too much for what was eaten (60 euros total for a first course, a second course, a side dish and 2 glasses of wine) There's better
