I have Coeliac Disease (gluten free) and it can still be a struggle to find reliable, trustworthy restaurants who cater correctly. I had the double stack burger with a gluten free bun - my mind was blown. Alongside this the fries were crispy on the outside, but soft and fluffy on the inside. The food was delicious (melted in the mouth!) and the portion size was perfect!

Our server Shannon was lovely, we informed her that our two year old daughter had a gluten allergy and she was very accommodating towards that and provided amazing service throughout. We ordered some chicken but as informed by Shannon it was a bad batch so she didn’t want us eating something that she wouldn’t so recommended we ordered something different. Myself and my husband were dining with a couple of friends. We have never visited previously but will be sure to return. My husband is celiac and they had a whole separate menu for him but it’s the staff that are the real hidden gem. So friendly and welcoming. We were greeted by Georgina and looked after by Adele. ( a waitress who had taken such great off us previously). They helped us choose a gluten free option on the lunch menu for my husband so he could be included with us. We had the budget friendly lunch menu and I had the fish goujons were beautifully crisp and the fish soft and flakey. He had gammon with a fresh runny egg.
All four of us had the sticky toffee for afters , which was so light and soft. I want the recipe.
We were told upon paying that the chef that had cooked for us was Bertie. We cannot wait to return and sample more of his cooking. A weekend menu was mentioned so we will be booking in soon.

The place was refurbished around a year ago and has got a whole new lease of life. New menu and new team of staff - lovely environment. I was excited to hear that the beers change regularly and that there's always something new to try plus the site has a wonderful new menu which includes an entire Gluten Free Menu and an entire Vegan Menu. Usually I would comment on just the food, but on this visit I would like to give massive praise to Eden who was waiting for the 1st time and totally smashed it there's nothing more he could of done for us he went over and over and above with a fun and friendly attitude.
Even stayed after his shift had finished to complete our journey.
