So, so good! We would go there every day if we lived close! I'm celiac and my sister is gluten free and dairy free and it was so great to have a server (shout out to Regan!) who was knowledgeable about cross contamination and a huge selection of the menu to choose from!
Absolutely fantastic.
Very gluten friendly, lots of gluten free options and gf pita is even available and the flavors don't suffer for it. Wonderfully accommodating staff.
If you get the grill for 2-3 with friends you will have plenty of food and probably still take some home. Fantastically filling.
Most Seattle restaurants aren't worth the prices they charge, but this was the first one I've been to in a minute that was really worth paying for both the food and experience.
Will be back.
Kati Vegan Thai is the best spot for vegetarian/vegan food, and in my opinion in general, in downtown Seattle!
My partner and I have been long distance for 3 years and we both started out as vegetarians when we met and found this spot. Even though my partner is no longer strictly vegetarian, it is our favorite spot to eat together when I'm visiting from NYC.
Our favorite menu items that I highly recommend are:
Non-Alcoholic Drinks Fav:
Mango Sunshine
Alcoholic Drink Favs:
Mango Tango
Gardner's Secret
Menu Favorites:
Portobello Lovers appetizer- the mushrooms, broccoli & garlic with lemon are soooo well done. Delicious!
Fried Garlic Jackfruit- a fantastic and unique gluten-free appetizer- yummy!
Pumpkin Curry that we get w/purple rice, keep the tofu, and we do a garlic jackfruit add-on- the taste of this curry is divine, and the flavorful and satisfying garlic jackfruit is a delight and also gluten-free. was unique and authentic when it comes to the usuals like pad Thai and curry and there was a lot of innovation and uniqueness for the appetizers.
Also tasty:
Pineapple Fried Rice - gluten free and delicious
Sweet & Sour Cashew - a tasty stir-fry
The atmosphere and the location are great. The staff is kind and treats the customers well. The bathroom floors are strangely sticky, which I think is due to whatever cleaner they use, but that is the only "off" thing I could comment about this excellent spot!
A highly recommended place if you like Thai and if you are a gluten-free vegetarian!
We had Pho Tai Lan and Pho Ha Noi Style both were very flavorful. The music and atmosphere were very pleasant as well. All in all it's a lovely corner Cafe to meet with good friends.
Oh, and they have plenty of Gluten free options.
Arrived and greeted with a smile (from out of town so always a nice welcoming gesture) service was quick for our breakfast sandwiches and they offered vegan and gluten free options as well! A must stop by if you’re in Seattle looking to catch a quick super tasty breakfast.
Ordered from this place on DoorDash, whom doesn’t offer allergen notes. I ordered the chicken teriyaki and sunshine roll, both marked gluten free, but I became very ill. They didn’t prepare it properly or take the order seriously. I won’t be going back.
my partner and i go here weekly (if not more) since we live right next door. usually to go orders but have also brought friends and family in to dine. out of the many times we’ve gone there has only been a few times where maybe a side of sour cream was missing (who cares really). the portions for fajitas are AMAZINGG. it lasts us 2-3 meals!! great quality of food and gluten free (celiac here!). great margaritas and service :) the chips are unique in the best way!! we crave el grito allll the time!
