La Otilia is the perfect place to eat if you have dietary restrictions or a specific diet. They have gluten-free, keto, vegan, paleo, and other options. This time, we ordered a Hawaiian pizza. Although they recommend sharing it, I feel like the portion is personal. For dessert, we ordered a lemon pie and a gansito (my favorite!), along with smoothies (red berries, coconut yogurt, and ginger). The place is pet-friendly 🐶💙 and they have dog treats. The staff is very friendly 🙌🏼

Staff are friendly, they offer gluten free and the toppings/flavours are good. I was really excited to come here. However the shop reeks of rotten coconut oil and the doughnuts themselves taste overwhelmingly of it. I think if you can't keep ontop of using fresh oil you need to use something that won't spoil so easily. Especially for the high price they charge. I had hoped to buy a box but I couldn't finish one because of the gone off oil taste :( Edit: I don't mean to imply they re-use oil, but that they are using oil that has gone off/been open too long. They got my donut fresh from the back and it was served hot to me since there were no gluten free flavours I wanted out already, and my partner's normal non-gf donut also tasted of off coconut to him and was from the window display.

Honestly can’t remember if I posted a review last year but I’m back in town and CANNOT wait for all of the delicious food. It’s hard not to go overboard as everything looks and tastes sooooo good! The cupcakes are delicious and moist, the bagels are incredible and the hand pies/patties are a huge treat! One of the most impressive gluten free restaurants I’ve been to in any of my travels and the staff are lovely. My mom who does not have celiac diasease also agreed all of the food was great and she can’t wait to go back either!

I found this place in google maps and they have a lot of options for gluten free if you are celiac or have an allergy. The waiter was very knowledgeable when he asked me if it was a preference or it was an allergy (to gluten). Which I like. At so many places they don’t really train their staff about cross contamination and this is a plus :) I ordered the gluten free avocado toast. It was good, it had poached eggs, avocado, and feta cheese I believe. Just keep in Mind that if you order for GF it’s 50 MXN extra for the bread, and the size is smaller in comparison to a regular gluten bread :(. But that’s normal and common for gf bread. We also ordered the pancakes to share. They were very good. They came with 3, with side of syrup and dulce de leche, also ordered an Americano and it tasted very good. I liked the touch of the warm milk for my coffee. Usually they give it cold in other places and the drinks turn cold faster. My bf ordered the chilaquiles, I believe they originally come with cauliflower chips but they accommodated to serve with regular corn chips. So far very good if you have food restrictions, allergies. I believe the owner was there and he was walking around greeting and asking if everything was okey. Love the service. It’s always hard to find gf food or restaurants that are accommodating or have knowledge about it, so this is a must in Tulum.

I love their ice cream. The experience is great from the moment you arrive at the counter. The staff is very friendly and willing to let you try any flavor you want. The price is higher than regular ice cream, but considering the high quality of their ingredients and the fact that they're gluten-free, sugar-free, dairy-free, and all that, I think it's totally worth it. I'm in love with these ice creams!

Panneria had several gluten-free AND vegan cakes. The cakes were quite pricey (160 pesos for one slice), but decent. The iced coffee was pretty bad, but the owner was very friendly. I wouldn’t necessarily come back since it’s so expensive, but it’s great that there are gluten-free vegan options when you’re craving pastries or cake. Also place had a really cute and friendly dog.

I recently dined at Layla and had an incredible experience! The food was absolutely fantastic, with options to suit every dietary need, including being Celiac friendly. The staff was wonderful, creating a welcoming atmosphere with their great service and friendly demeanor. The vibe of the restaurant was awesome, adding to the overall enjoyment of the meal. Nice place for brunch. Food is good, between too healthy and healthy; plenty of options to choose from including gluten free ones. Prices are a bit high, but okay for San Miguel Allende. Services isn't great though. Staff is super friendly but they forgot some requests we made, didn't hear us when we called and so on. So be patient. The restaurant itself has a rustic style.

Came here with my wife on our honeymoon. Everything about the place was phenomenal. Kenchi (probably spelled that wrong), was our bartender and server and he was probably one of the fastest cocktail bartenders I've seen, and did it all with a smile. The food was top quality, the service was great, and we left full and happy. The live music was really great too, adding a romantic and relaxed atmosphere. Definitely make reservations and be aware this place is going to be pricier than other spots on the island. Also I should add they are safe for people with celiac disease if you let them know, they can effectively accommodate gluten free without cross contamination.

From the moment we walked to the time we left, service was impeccable. Entrees arrived hot and tasted as freshly made. Portions on the large side, so if you want dessert, come super hungry or pace yourself. Pri rs were reasonably. Gluten free options available were marked on the menu. Staff very knowledgeable. Fettuccine Puntanesco (GF penne substituted) and Spagehti Carbonara were ordered with Wedge Salads. Table bread complimentary and brought GF tortilla chips as well as an attentive courtesy. Totally two thumbs up!

Fantastic pizza available in a gluten free crust that is actually fantastic. Great service reasonable prices. There was a mix up with my wife's pizza she couldn't eat and they quickly remade it no fuss no muss. Highly recommended and will be back.
