Cute little restaurant with very friendly service. Both men were super friendly.
My husband and I tried a savory and a sweet crepe. Gluten-free, of course, because we'd read they were delicious. We can only confirm that; the crepes taste fluffy and heavenly.
It's worth a visit; if we ever come back to Genoa, we'll definitely eat another crepe there. ❤️ Simply a dream for those with celiac disease.
Had lunch to celebrate my daughter's communion, 16 of us.
High quality food, excellent preparation and presentation, both for the 'sea' and the 'land'.
Quiet, well-set-up and "scenographic" environment.
Excellent service, great attention to customer needs (celiac person above all).
Exquisite owners, friendliness, availability and welcome well above the Ligurian average 😆
Adequate price and respectful of what has just been written: experience, professionalism and quality are certainly not free and you can't expect them to be.
We will definitely return and recommend it to everyone.
Extremely good restaurant also for celiacs: starters and main courses are prepared without using gluten. The location is fantastic and you will probably need to book in the summer. Prices are affordable.
Nice location, friendly staff. Pretty good food, except for the gluten-free pizza with a ready-made base (I wouldn't recommend it, get something else).. I expected much better given the AIC certification for several years.
Decent normal pizza
I was here for a snack, delicious and cheap tigelle, the lady who served me was super cheerful, I don't remember her name but I know she is of Colombian origin, in addition to the good food we also had a nice chat where she told me a little his story, I was almost moved, I will definitely return and I recommend everyone to try their tigelle, one last thing they also make tigelle for celiacs
Local in the Porto Antico of Genoa with homemade pasta, also in the gluten-free version. The restaurant has some seats both in the internal rooms and at the tables outside. However, booking is recommended. I ate some excellent Trofie with octopus with Taggiasca olives and cherry tomatoes and a very good SG mixed fried food
The ice cream in this shop is labeled as containing no gluten coloring or artificial flavors. There are many styles to choose from. They are smooth and delicious, but the price is a bit expensive.
Very nice restaurant with outside tables overlooking a small square or the quieter inside area. AIC certified. Friendly staff. We had a gluten-free pizza and an octopus. The pizza wasn't bad, in fact the only thing was that the base was a bit disconnected from the topping, probably because being a frozen product it is first cooked in the oven and then filled (and then maybe put back in the oven for a moment) and therefore it gives more the idea of a topped focaccia, but overall it wasn't bad. The octopus was a bit overcooked and therefore was a bit rubbery, but the flavor was very good. For dessert we had a panna cotta and it was very good. Good coffee. In conclusion I would happily return.
We were passing through and ordered 2 gluten-free takeaway pizzas. Delicious and highly appreciated as they are thin, well filled and tasty. Often you find gluten-free dough that is thick, heavy, undercooked and therefore indigestible. And unlike other gluten-free pizzas, they are also good the next day.
Unfortunately disappointing experience in this tavern. Young waiters, okay, but inexperienced; they brought the first courses before the appetizers, the wine arrived a quarter of an hour after the glasses, with the meal almost over. The gluten free option is appreciated, however there is a lack of vegan options (as a lactose intolerant I found milk and derivatives in almost all the fish-based dishes). Pleasant environment, in a basement room inside a historic building, dominated by an imposing vault. Average prices, but decidedly high considering the service. Poor wine list, with a poor choice of Ligurian wines, of which only one red can be ordered by the glass and this was absolutely not worth the price.
My favorite gluten free pizza!
For those like me who have an intolerance and have a rather sensitive stomach, there is nothing worse than the anxiety of feeling sick every time you go out for dinner (more than once I have gone to even prestigious or formal restaurants and come out knocked out)... At Vicolo, however, I play it safe. I am among the few in Genoa to have a really good, soft, light gluten-free dough; the ingredients are excellent, in short, pizza is a pleasant experience for me; the service is always up to par, the relaxing and welcoming atmosphere, the clean environment. Ours is now a fixed (almost) weekly appointment. Thank you!
Different types of dough (normal, spelled, gluten-free, 13 cereals, ...) and a menu divided between pizzas, pinse, special pizzas and pizzas "made by us", for an infinite variety of flavors that will leave even the most refined palate satisfied.
A great discovery. A specific gluten-free menu suitable for celiacs. From appetizers to desserts. Highly recommended. They give you a bread basket with various snacks.
Despite being AIC, we detected a total unpreparedness of the staff and a lack of options regarding gluten-free nutrition.
Bread with gluten brought and crashed in the middle of the table (4 seats, very small).
Annoyed waitress who mixed up orders.
Semi-raw sausage, lack of ingredients in the grill.
All seasoned with long waiting times.
On the website the restaurant presents itself in a very different way, mentioning fresh homemade gluten-free pasta and presenting a menu dedicated to celiacs (then non-existent).
The only positive thing, one of the waiters was really very kind, so much so that he gave us a discount, apologizing and thanking us for our patience.
Generally we don't leave negative reviews, but based on our experience we advise people with celiac disease not to frequent the restaurant.
A sought-after place for its gluten-free options. Their specialty is obviously meatballs, served in all possible ways. The food is also very good, with a wide selection of typical Genoese dishes. The place is a bit crowded, but pleasant. The staff is kind and very attentive.
Excellent veggy choice even for celiacs!!!!
Delicious potato gnocchi with confit garlic and basil on a bed of roasted pepper puree, delicious veggy bun with chips, crazy raw veggy cheese cake and delicious veggy meringue with mango foam

We ordered 2 pizzas, one was on the gluten free dough. Taste of senza glutine pizza: 1,5/5 - I added a half point as the mozarella buffala was good. Pizza was sinking in tomatoes and the dough itself tasted like a fried hungarian langosz. The normal pizza dough was also bizzare. Not recommended.
Amazing food! The freshly made pasta was wonderful, and they have great gluten-free options as well!
Went with a friend and we absolutely loved the atmosphere. Everyone in the staff was so sweet and patient with our terrible italian 😅 Would love to come back again if I'm ever in Genova, highly recommend!
We chose this restaurant because of the mention that they offer gluten-free pizza. When we got there, we asked briefly whether this was the case and we were told that they had gluten-free pizza on offer. We then chose two pizzas, but unfortunately the menu was only available in Italian and could not be translated, which made it difficult to find the pizzas. Please note that certain pizzas are delivered without tomato sauce, so the ham is placed directly on the dough. It's definitely a matter of taste, but it worked for us. The ham or the cuttings are freshly cut in one piece by the machine.
Although the toilet was handicapped accessible, many of the dowels were already out of the wall, which is why I doubt anyone would be able to hold on to them. In general the whole ambience is ok. but I think we could make it out of it.
Since we were so hungry we completely forgot to take a photo, but the pizzas look very appetizing and inviting.
Absolutely recommended, very kind and attentive staff especially towards my celiac wife. Menu linked to the territory, refined dishes and presented with care. Informal atmosphere with comfortable tables. Only thing, out of three complete menus plus a bottle of Franciacorta, for a total of € 183, to offer, as usually happens, at least the two coffees, which instead we paid..
No big deal, we waited more than half an hour before being seated even though we had booked. Since it was Saturday there were a lot of people so the service left a little to be desired even if some of the waitresses were very kind and helpful. The pizzas were good, the gluten-free ones were not gluten and do not guarantee contamination. In short, the first ones. Even the desserts are so and so. Again, maybe only because it was Saturday
I went with some friends because of the gluten-free (+4€) in the pizza dough. My pizza had raw dough, raw sauce, little cheese and tasteless courgettes... my friends had cheese focaccias which were very good but with childish portions, my boyfriend had a breaded cutlet (half raw ). The millefeuille dessert was good. We spent around 30 euros each, expensive for no reason.
We tried the pinza and the pizza in the three different types of dough: Genoese, normal and gluten-free (no pre-made bases). There are six different types of dough on the list! We found them all very good and with quality ingredients. Punctual and kind staff. Highly recommended!!!
Directly overlooking the port, this restaurant-pizzeria offers a simple but characterful menu. Typically Ligurian. Excellent gluten-free options, especially Baladin beer. Friendly staff and standard service. V
It is the second time I have come to eat Al Mulino pizza and I must say it never disappoints me, the pizzas are delicious with a nice soft crust, many types of dough (including gluten-free), there is plenty of choice between classic and gourmet pizzas, the right price for the quality offered, fast service and friendly and helpful staff. Absolutely must try!
One random Sunday evening you park in the basement near Colombo's house and search on Google for "typical Genoese cuisine". A thousand thousand red dots light up, all with at least 4 stars and dozens (hundreds!) of reviews. Ok, you can't go wrong, "ndo cojo cojo", it's starting to be 9pm and it's chilly, there's no need to go too far, so we'll stop here, after reading the menu on the notice board.
We enter this mini maze of stairs and rooms (in the end there are 2 but there and then you get lost for a moment and Zena knows, make room where you can) and we sit down. In the meantime, a family from Bologna who they had met shortly before enters from the... er... window, also looking for a place to have dinner.
Warm furnishings, almost in modernized poor art, which encourage conviviality. Out of the menu on a walking blackboard... Menu apparently printed with one of the first inkjets that didn't use sheets of paper with holes in the sides, but that's not certain. Dishes? Various, real and fairly typical, with a decent offer even for celiacs.
Let's start with delicious fried artichokes, then I won't put a photo of the mandillos, which are culinary porpoise, together with a cod and a dessert each.
Portions rather in line with modern taverns.
Why not 5 stars then?
-The tiramisu seemed without eggs, but with whipped cream and mascarpone. I like it but... I think many would object. The honest Neapolitan pastiera.
-Friendly service but a little slow and imprecise
- The toilets need to be revised. Absolutely.
We would need a fix to the doors that squeak like the worst low-grade horror films and... Well they don't even close properly! Ventilation to be redone
It wouldn't take much to....
Roman style pizza you can also choose it gluten free I tried the Venere rice dough which really impressed me compliments, really excellent pizza and super pampered customer
On December 28th I had dinner at your place, I was invited to the wedding of my friends Francesca and Alvaro... What a wonderful view of the spectacular Zena, your place is super welcoming, the dishes are excellent, I didn't find anything imperfect, the service was impeccable
Even though there were 70 of us, we all had dinner together and well, every course was hot, beautiful to look at and very tasty, at my table there was a friend of mine who is celiac, you were super attentive to her dishes, always beautiful to look at and good to eat as she said, your guys at the service were fast and attentive to please everyone... My heartfelt compliments, I will return and I will certainly advertise your place even if in my opinion you don't need it. You are wonderful.... bye from Danilo
Excellent service, food, and casual friendly atmosphere. Thank you to Rochelle and her team, ensuring I could enjoy gluten-free pasta (and pizza) with fresh pesto! If youreby the waterfront, pop in, they'll treat you right!
We've wanted to try this restaurant for a long time, but as we've never been to Genoa there's never been an opportunity. We were finally lucky enough to do it (and I say lucky because it was already sold out when we arrived!). As soon as you enter, you are embraced by warm colors and an extremely comfortable and familiar atmosphere, typical of REAL Italian restaurants, and we love this. The menu is well written and "fun" in the sense that it talks about history, has relevance, lots of offerings and at the same time entertains without being tacky. The only problem with this menu is that all the dishes offered are tempting, which makes it difficult to choose. However, as far as I'm concerned, Toni's anchovies were SPACE! Together with the panissa. I recommend the mixed appetizers if you want to try a bit of everything. As for the first courses, I think I have understood that there is this Raviolo in love which is the Faro dish of the house, unfortunately no longer available last night but it is there, for a little restaurant where everything is homemade and with love (which you can feel and see)
I also recommend the Mandilli with pesto, a real bomb of flavours. The fish is very good and of excellent quality, as is the skill with which all the dishes are prepared. Even fried foods are not wet and heavy. Possibility to also satisfy celiacs, they made us gluten-free spaghetti with clams, delicious!
Unfortunately we no longer had space for dessert, but I can tell you that the idea of having a coffee maker at the table is brilliant, and the coffee is delicious.
As for the service, here too it remains convivial but still very pleasant, it feels like entering a friend's house and immediately feeling at ease, and this is really nice. An extra smile was never missing during the evening and this is nice. Congratulations to everyone, I'll be back!
Very nice and characteristic place, it seems like a little corner of peace. The food is very good and particular, with great attention to the needs and allergies of the diners (recommended for celiacs). The staff is very kind and is ready to treat the customer in the best possible way. Highly recommended!!
