Spectacular gluten-free place.
The entire menu is designed for celiacs, with variety and good prices.
Beautiful, large space.
Very friendly waiters.
Incredible pizza and pasta.
Thank you so much for the service 😊
Nice location, friendly staff. Pretty good food, except for the gluten-free pizza with a ready-made base (I wouldn't recommend it, get something else).. I expected much better given the AIC certification for several years.
Decent normal pizza
What more could you want, a typical Genoese trattoria, on the sea, plentiful dishes, cheap price, and delicious food. They also do gluten-free. Friendly and kind staff.. everything was excellent.. from the starter to the dessert. A fantastic day.. we left there full and happy with the excellent food.. we will definitely be back..
Let me start by saying that I know them very well. But finding a place that always welcomes you with a smile, always kind, is not always a given. And then you ask for lactose-free milk and they have it... ask for soy milk... oat milk... well what can I say they have to do with that.
Gluten-free products. Well try it and you'll tell me I recommend it 😊
Unfortunately disappointing experience in this tavern. Young waiters, okay, but inexperienced; they brought the first courses before the appetizers, the wine arrived a quarter of an hour after the glasses, with the meal almost over. The gluten free option is appreciated, however there is a lack of vegan options (as a lactose intolerant I found milk and derivatives in almost all the fish-based dishes). Pleasant environment, in a basement room inside a historic building, dominated by an imposing vault. Average prices, but decidedly high considering the service. Poor wine list, with a poor choice of Ligurian wines, of which only one red can be ordered by the glass and this was absolutely not worth the price.
Dear Valentina, after months glued to the phone screen with my mouth watering looking at the photos of your delicacies, I have decided to give myself a gift and take a train from Pontedera to come and taste something from your bakery in Sarzana.
And so here I am early in the morning inside your special place; obviously there was the counter full of wonders and your lively and very pleasant presence. I admit that I didn't say much because I was excited, but I bought many things to try: a slice of savory cake, some scones, a piece of vanilla and berry cake and a lemon and blueberry muffin.
Everything was exceptional!
The scones almost moved me, the flavor was almost identical to the ones I bought in an old bakery in my town when I was little, I ate them with a dear friend of mine outside of school and it really felt like I was going back there.
Never eaten so good in eleven years of celiac disease!
Not to mention the desserts: tasty, soft, abundant. No disappointments.
The prices are absolutely honest and consistent with the quality of the food, I really hope to be able to return soon.
What a gem! We would return to Levanto for this place alone. Really wonderful experience. Tasty and fresh and so many gluten free options. Highly recommend the Moby Dick sandwich, the classical toastie and the bruschetta. And the coffee was delicious too. Many thanks!
We have known the Donne del Vino association for a few years and given the positive experience of the previous time we decided to repeat the evening in Recco. The reference winery of the evening was Tenuta Carretta of the Miroglio family.
We ate two starters: a very good sea bass tartare and the excellent focaccia from Recco, all paired with Alta Langa.
First, pansotti with walnut sauce, while second, "Ciupin" (typical Ligurian fish soup) with Canorei.
To finish we tasted an excellent dark chocolate dessert combined with Carretta's Moscato d'Asti.
Super organized for gluten. Very good and kind Paola (and obviously all her staff!)

Great restaurant for glutenfree food. Almost everything is possible to eat. We had Hamburgers with chicken and one with beef and bacon and French fries. The people know al about glutenfree food and are very helpful. I really recommend this place to go to for a good meal or other refreshments
This place has gluten free pasta which is hard to find in a smaller town. Note the gluten free pasta is not listed on the menu but they have it! Went here two nights in a row because the pesto was delicious! Also had a stuffed pasta with walnut cream sauce that was delicious.
On vacation in Pietra Ligure I tried gluten-free focaccia and red pizza and finally it seemed like real pizza! Good good! I'm used to always finding gluten-free pizzas that aren't very tasty!
Too bad it's not in my city!
A great discovery. A specific gluten-free menu suitable for celiacs. From appetizers to desserts. Highly recommended. They give you a bread basket with various snacks.
Very nice and welcoming place, very good dishes and very kind and attentive staff.
Being celiac, they also have the option of making gluten-free dishes!❤️
I would say prices are too high for focaccias. 15 euros for a gluten-free one, nothing exceptional among other things and 10 for a normal... burnt one. 2 I was each. for a place setting...with barely the essentials. Forget it..overrated.
great availability for my celiac daughter, she was able to eat an excellent plate of spaghetti with fish! and french fries. the owner is very attentive and extremely helpful and there are many gluten-free options, such as pizza and many other dishes (the menu actually has a dedicated space!)
We, however, ate good fried food and a good seafood appetizer.
The fried food was excellent, light and very digestible. The fish is fresh and tasty.
Price absolutely within the norm, indeed in my opinion (fortunately) slightly below average.
Very kind and impeccable service.
for me great promotions, we will definitely be back! Thank you!
Very nice and welcoming restaurant, kind staff and above all very attentive to everyone's needs: it was the only place where my girlfriend found gluten-free alternatives, with pasta and dry side dishes specifically gluten free!
Recommended!
11/10 recommend! The food is delicious and the staff are extremely kind and incredibly helpful. When I asked about gluten free options they were super accommodating, helped me through the menu, and went out of their way to make sure I could have the pizza I wanted. The location is just a few minutes from the train station, and so much quieter than the other side. Great views, great food, wonderful staff.
Went last night, discreet Catalan, everything else is not worth the expense, improvised service, wait between courses for over 30 minutes, even though we were advised at the time of booking of the presence of a celiac person, we were not provided with any suitable product, for example bread or breadsticks.... I don't think I'll go back...
A good dinner all in all, very good food, there are some small details missing to make the leap in quality and receive the 5 stars.
The fact that they also offer gluten-free pasta is excellent.

Corso Dante Alighieri, 83, 17021 Alassio SV, Italy
I was in this restaurant with my mother a few weeks ago, I point out that my mother is severely celiac and a slight contamination would have made our mini vacation a nightmare. Instead we were welcomed by a boy, I hope and think the manager, young but extremely experienced, they offered us gluten-free appetizers that no one had ever had the foresight to prepare. Extremely generous portions and fresh fish. Kindness, professionalism and knowledge of celiac disease at the highest levels. I feel like writing that I rarely leave reviews, but this restaurant deserves an honorable mention. Even the plating is different for celiacs so that they can quickly recognize the dishes dedicated to them. I find the expense very honest for the quality and service offered. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart
Bistrot on the outskirts of Finalborgo in an environment with particular colors and atmospheres. It is possible to enjoy dishes sitting in front of the windows overlooking the walls of Finalborgo if there are two of you. Varied cuisine from vegan to meat and fish. The gluten-free vegan Sacher is delicious. Nice and kind staff.
Wide choice both for breakfast, lunch and also for the aperitif. Lots of gluten free and vegan choices, both sweet and savory, much appreciated.
Competent and friendly staff, tidy, clean and attentive to customers.
Directly overlooking the port, this restaurant-pizzeria offers a simple but characterful menu. Typically Ligurian. Excellent gluten-free options, especially Baladin beer. Friendly staff and standard service. V
This review is for gluten free eaters only: be warned a few reviews here mentioned plentiful options a few months back and we checked previously to arriving and were told "yes", but on arrival the waitress informed us there are no pasta or pizza gluten free options. There was essentially one salad and 2x seafood which we don’t eat. We left and went to Trattoria Billy which had GF pasta and was so great. I’m sure this place is good for regular eaters.
It is the second time I have come to eat Al Mulino pizza and I must say it never disappoints me, the pizzas are delicious with a nice soft crust, many types of dough (including gluten-free), there is plenty of choice between classic and gourmet pizzas, the right price for the quality offered, fast service and friendly and helpful staff. Absolutely must try!
We went to the Palmaria restaurant because we were attracted by the AIC certification, since my boyfriend is celiac. Unfortunately, the experience did not live up to expectations, especially considering the level of the restaurant.
As soon as we arrived, the head waiter asked out loud "Who is intolerant?", and when we answered that it was celiac disease, he replied: "But what's the difference?". A question that, from a restaurant certified for gluten-free, truly surprised us.
We would have expected greater awareness and sensitivity on such an important topic for those living with an autoimmune disease.
The service itself was discreet, but with a cover charge of €5 per person, we would have expected different and more professional attention.
The place is certainly beautiful and has potential, but on some aspects - especially those related to sensitivity towards customers with dietary needs - there is still work to be done.
We've wanted to try this restaurant for a long time, but as we've never been to Genoa there's never been an opportunity. We were finally lucky enough to do it (and I say lucky because it was already sold out when we arrived!). As soon as you enter, you are embraced by warm colors and an extremely comfortable and familiar atmosphere, typical of REAL Italian restaurants, and we love this. The menu is well written and "fun" in the sense that it talks about history, has relevance, lots of offerings and at the same time entertains without being tacky. The only problem with this menu is that all the dishes offered are tempting, which makes it difficult to choose. However, as far as I'm concerned, Toni's anchovies were SPACE! Together with the panissa. I recommend the mixed appetizers if you want to try a bit of everything. As for the first courses, I think I have understood that there is this Raviolo in love which is the Faro dish of the house, unfortunately no longer available last night but it is there, for a little restaurant where everything is homemade and with love (which you can feel and see)
I also recommend the Mandilli with pesto, a real bomb of flavours. The fish is very good and of excellent quality, as is the skill with which all the dishes are prepared. Even fried foods are not wet and heavy. Possibility to also satisfy celiacs, they made us gluten-free spaghetti with clams, delicious!
Unfortunately we no longer had space for dessert, but I can tell you that the idea of having a coffee maker at the table is brilliant, and the coffee is delicious.
As for the service, here too it remains convivial but still very pleasant, it feels like entering a friend's house and immediately feeling at ease, and this is really nice. An extra smile was never missing during the evening and this is nice. Congratulations to everyone, I'll be back!
Very nice and characteristic place, it seems like a little corner of peace. The food is very good and particular, with great attention to the needs and allergies of the diners (recommended for celiacs). The staff is very kind and is ready to treat the customer in the best possible way. Highly recommended!!
I rediscovered this pizzeria after years and I must say that it did not disappoint me.
Pleasant environment, very kind staff.
The pizzas are delicious, light and well garnished. I would add that even the pizzas for gluten intolerants are excellent, tasty and above all well cooked and crunchy.
Super paccheri with squid sauce!!
I highly recommend this restaurant/pizzeria
Congratulations to everyone!!!!
I was recently lucky enough to dine at this seafood restaurant, opting for the five-course tasting menu, and I have to say it was a fantastic experience!
Each dish was a delicious surprise, with the freshest ingredients and presentations that were almost too pretty to eat.
The service was exceptional: the waiters were incredibly friendly and always ready to help, making the atmosphere welcoming and relaxing. They were able to advise us perfectly and were attentive to every detail, without ever being intrusive. They were especially very attentive towards my wife who, as a celiac, cannot eat anything that contains gluten.
Bottom line, everything was just perfect. If you are looking for a place to enjoy amazing seafood and feel pampered from start to finish, this restaurant is a must try. I can't wait to go back!
