We went because the menu has a gluten-free option and vegan cheese. I have celiac disease and I can't eat dairy products, so I was very excited to eat a pizza. Because the pizza is gluten-free and has vegan cheese, it has a supplement of €5.5 to the cost of a normal pizza, I understand that they are more expensive ingredients and have a supplement. What surprises me is that the size of the pizza was half that of a normal pizza, they serve it to you on the plate of normal pizzas and you see the abysmal difference in size between one and the other. With the €5.5 supplement I expected a normal size and a particularly good dough, but it was very hard and had a lot of flour underneath, a huge disappointment. The rest of the normal dishes are fine, normal Italian.

I went for the first time five years ago, and no, I didn't leave a very good taste in my mouth. A month ago, I was with my family in the Orgi forest and we ended up in Gerendiain. To my surprise, they had changed owners. They are kind and helpful, with excellent culinary skills. At this family-run bar, the menu was a typical grandmother's village menu, the kind you'd expect from a typical grandmother's village menu, the kind you'd leave sparkling clean and eat until you burst. Particularly noteworthy among them were the goat and chorizos in cider. But I wouldn't change a thing about the complete and affordable menu (€35). We went with children, a vegan, and a celiac. They immediately adapted to every request. The dark-haired man who served us quickly understood our needs and spoke with the exceptional chef to find out what they were, and surprisingly, everyone was satisfied. All of this was accompanied by an idyllic location and a fabulous terrace in one of the most peaceful villages in Navarre. I will definitely repeat.

New visit to this restaurant where we were about three years ago. Some things have changed, like the price which is now somewhat higher, but the rest seems to remain the same. The room is huge, divided into several spaces, and the waiters work piecework, which inevitably ends up having an impact on the quality of the service, which is not bad but could be much better. As for the food, everything we ate was good, and the portions are still exaggerated, which leaves a practically unbeatable quality-quantity-price ratio. Although it didn't give me much confidence, the issue of allergens seems to be somewhat under control and they were able to offer me some options suitable for celiacs for the first and second courses and dessert.

We had this restaurant as a special place with delicious dishes and good quality prices and a good menu of the day, it had been a while since we had been there and yesterday we were eating, my wife has celiac disease and that's how we let the person in charge who served us know, well As an appetizer, they served us a small glass of garlic soup. Russian, a mistake that seemed very serious to us, we continued eating and in general the dishes are delicious, but very little for the price you are paying, 4 small portion plates with tap water without dessert and two coffees €73. In short, they have removed the menu of the day that they had at a very good price and quality, they have raised the price of the dishes too much and they are relatively small, but what made us feel the worst was that after the serious mistake they made by serving gluten to my wife and that they did not even have the detail of not charging us for the coffees, the feeling was bad and we are very sorry we will not repeat it.

Then he told me that the potatoes are made in the same fryer as the rest, therefore, I couldn't eat patatas bravas either, which appeared on the menu without the number “1” corresponding to the gluten allergen. Finally, I had to go to Mercadona so I could have something to eat with my companions so I wouldn't stare. I advise you to review your menus and update the list of allergens, just as I believe that the staff should be informed and if you have any questions, consult the kitchen and inform the customer. It's about a person's health. If you cannot offer food suitable for celiacs, it is understandable, but then be honest when they call to ask because if we had known the reality, we would not have come and you would have saved 8 people from being disappointed and feeling distrustful of your service.
