We recently visited RD RNNR for lunch, and were truly impressed with both the food and service. I had the Baby Rnnr Wedge salad, and it was one of, if not the best, salads I have ever had. Great selection of menu items and cocktails / drinks; everyone in our group (including a celiac) easily found something they enjoyed. We will be sure to recommend RD RNNR to all our friends that are visiting the desert, keep up the good work!
I've celiac disease and there no more pleasure than eating a protein style lettuce wrap INO burger sporadically ! . I don't know if there is cross contamination but It is one of the few burgers that doesn't give me a reaction!
My husband and I were excited to finally experience this restaurant. The atmosphere is amazing. We were 1/2 an hour early hoping to sit at the bar, but the bar was too busy. The hostess was able to seat us early though, so nice. Our server was really nice, but not very attentive. It was a busy Friday night. I need Gluten free and the menu is amazing for that. My husband had a great salad and I had the Kuri Squash soup. Both so good. We had a wonderful bottle of wine. My husband ordered the filet mignon and it was so overdone. He couldn’t even eat half of it, but he loved the carrots and potatoes. I had the sea bass which was amazing. The waiter offered my husband bread, but it never came. Once he walked by and noticed we didn’t have it, and said he would check on it, but it still never came. We had to ask for the desert menu. Had crème brûlée which good. We definitely will go back. Although my husband is a little reluctant. I loved my food . Again, it was a busy Friday night.
My husband and I were so looking forward to sharing a foot long today! Italian, Jersey Mikes style. We asked for gluten free bread which was a huge mistake. However, the contents of the sub were pathetic. The bread also pathetic. We’ll be looking for a new sub place after today and we were long time fans. Seemed like the employees today were not really into it… I’m sure to let our friends know as well. There’s a great sub shop in Palm Desert. I’ll drive there next time even though it’s further.
Everything about this place is fantastic! Our server, Mariana, went above and beyond. She helped accommodate my gluten free dietary restrictions.
The atmosphere was ideal. We had outside seating. Food was delicious.
Highly recommend and we cannot wait to come back!
Patio is 10/10 dinner atmosphere with lighting, heaters, and live guitarist (who was excellent!) Sea bass and salmon were great and accommodated for gluten free allergy easily.
We eat a lot of Sushi and this place is at the top of our list. The presentation, quality and service makes this sushi restaurant stand out above the rest. We are gluten free and garlic free. The cooks were extremely accommodating. They knew we liked spicy food and coupled our rolls with Serrano peppers. The Nigoiri sake we bought was one of the best unfiltered sake’s we had. Our only complaint was we didn’t insist on sitting on the patio. If you are comparing sushi places in Palm Desert, this is the one to choose.

Pricey, but plentiful breakfast buffet with custom egg station, gluten free & vegetarian options. Table service a bit slow only during peak hours, but very cordial & professional.
Excellent! I called in to ask about gluten free options and they were so helpful! They told me all the ingredients they used for what I ordered and offered to list all items that were gluten free. Food was amazing and I had no issues after eating. We ordered fajitas. So good! Their guacamole is delicious as well.
Really 4.5 stars which I can't do here. Nice spot. Friendly staff. Had great seafood (salmon and sea bass), a few good appetizers. Nice seating outside. Great service. They ran out of bread..... hmmm. Plus a failed refrigerator made dessert choices severely limited. Not their fault on this of course..... I would certainly go back. Gluten, soy, and nut allergy friendly.
I usually follow a gluten free diet but once in a while I dive off and this was the place to land. Had a fresh romaine Caesar salad with an individual pizza of sausage and olives. There was more topping on one slice than whole personal pizzas elsewhere. Cooked to perfection and served hot!! Worth every forbidden fruit bite. Unique toppings such as pepperoni cups with hot honey or date pizza are available. Great sense of being welcomed to a hidden gem in the desert. If you want pizza for dinner order early I was told. I can see why. It’s terrific pizza.

The food was incredibly flavorful. There were lots of choices after our request for gluten free substitutes that were also flavorful. The Tom Ka Kai soup was creamy and delicious. The shrimp tempura was flaky. The server was helpful and attentive. This will be our go to spot for Thai.
The spiciness level of the curry can be adjusted by adding more half&half/coconut milk upon request. The chicken curry was good and the staff said it was gluten free.
Huge shout out to the manager for being so kind to us. I reached out a few days ahead of time because one in our party is gluten free, and even though it's not on the menu, they made accommodations and grabbed some gluten free pasta to make the dinner perfect.
Visiting Palm Desert and surrounding valley, we had an amazing time at Lavender. We sat on the patio and had live music. The music selection was a perfect selection for Gen X and older. The music was not too loud. We are gluten fee and garlic free. The kitchen was very accommodating. We were able to have a 3 course meal, over 2.5 hours. One of our favorite Palm Desert places.
Great place to stop and eat that is only a few minutes off of I-10! We love to eat at Panera and this location did not disappoint. The food came out quickly and was cooked perfectly. They have gluten free options available as well. We had the Mac and cheese, chicken and wild rice soup, pepperoni flatbread and Asian sesame salad - and they were all fantastic. Highly recommend.
The food was good, it arrived quickly and I was super happy they had a gluten free (cauliflower crust) option. Unfortunately outside seating wasn’t open for some reason which was why we went there in the first place. It took a long time to get a box and our bill and I think the worst part was the chairs, they were so uncomfortable. If you go, opt for a booth!
I had the best fish I've ever had. I ordered Steve's Brown Butter Sole. I HIGHLY recommend it! Absolutely gluten free and OUTSTANDING! I also had the gluten free angel food cake and almost at the entire thing. DELICIOUS 🤩 The music was fabulous too!
I came to La Quinta for business and ate here both nights. I appreciated the knowledgeable staff that listened. Right away they understood I needed gluten free so they were able to make other suggestions for me as far as sauces. All the sauces that are premade have soy, but they had sesame and that did the trick! Plus they have a free tea check in on Yelp! How sweet is that!?
Everything was fresh and tasted amazing. We ordered the loaded fries, chicken pita and bistro beef kabob for my family of 4 and we were stuffed! Gabby was helpful while answering any questions I had, and gave great service while ordering and bagging up my food to go to eat at home.
The menu is for all different diets, like vegan, vegetarian, keto, and of course, gluten-free.
