While they no longer have the gluten free crepes they'll still make your dish gluten free over rice. Their baked goods are always gluten free and vegan. Lots of gluten free vegan options.
Great restaurant. Gluten free buns. Great fries. And the Cali Ketchup “home made ranch” to die for. Our waiter Daniel and food servers were great. We are traveling, so sad we can’t be back soon.
I can feed 3 teens and one adult for under $25 quick is pretty great considering I have one vegetarian and two gluten free this is a win win for eating out.
If you love sourdough crust and rich garlic seasoned sauce, a flavor that reminiscent of New York,

PIZZA
PLACE
Great place for gluten-free pizza. I love the huge variety of meat options for the meat eaters. For the veggie lovers, all the produce is fresh, and you can really taste the quality. They have a crazy amount of toppings if you prefer to create your own masterpiece. They have different options for sauces as well.
I would recommend a simple cheese or pepperoni if you're looking to gauge the quality per price. ROI if you will.
Pizza sizes are perfect. When they say large, it will feed 3 hungry men.
They serve pizza by the slice with a soda during lunch for a good price.
It was a staple of my highschool off campus lunch runs. Affordability on a high school allowance.
Mosaic has a great ambience and fantastic servers. I gave a 4 star for the food because I would prefer more gluten free options and some organic options would be a bonus. But overall Mosaic will not disappoint.
We decided to go try their sushi. It was disappointing at best. The sauce wasn't flavorful on any of the rolls we got, the rice was not typical short grain rice used for sushi, the fish was very fishy, and their soy sauce was gross. It tasted really watered down. When we asked about it she said they make it there so it's gluten free. Great. But don't call it Kikkoman. The low sodium was better and straight from the store.
The kids enjoyed their Mongolian noodles. When they weren't fighting over the one crayon I found floating around in my purse. Who gives kids a coloring book but has no crayons.
It was very cold in the dining room. After a cold couple of days, I'd think they would have turned the heat up to a comfortable temperature.
Needless to say, all this coupled with the very expensive price tag means we won't be visiting this place again.
We had a great family party event here last night. The service was amicable and friendly. The salad bar featured fresh greens, spinach, and all of the toppings typically seen with a nice selection of dressings to choose from. The pizza was delicious and truly worth it! It was my first time here, and I'd definitely recommend the pizza to even the most scrutinizing pizza lovers. We had several different pizzas, including a gluten-free crust, and sampling a slice of each was not disappointing.
I was so excited they had a separate gluten free menu, way easier than guessing off the regular one. The edamame was fantastic the sauce they use with it is good on everything! We had the tots and tacos also and my husband dipped them in the edamame sauce he loved it so much. The tacos and tots were also amazing with their own dipping sauces so don't let the above fool you. The spiked Thai tea drink is dangerous and amazing if you like Thai tea. Downtown parking sucks so just beware you may have to walk.
The gluten free and vegan options were really delicious! A real treat! Totally recommend for people with sensitivities but be aware that if you're celiac it is not a dedicated GF space.
This place was great when they first opened, then the they’ve been going progressively downhill to the point where I think I have to cut them off. Their current staff is generally unhelpful and really doesn’t seem to want to interact with customers past the bare minimum, which is made worse with their new and universally hated pickup system/app that almost removes humans from the process entirely. Kinda seems like the kids there just want to get paid to stand around and talk about whatever they did last night. They advertise a gluten-safe kitchen yet everyone I know with celiac has had tons of problems with them recently. There’s no consideration at all for pickup orders, which is a nightmare when your workplace has several celiacs and everyone orders their food from the same place for the shift. I hope they get back on track because this place used to be one of my favorite places to eat, but at this point, as someone with celiac, I am safer eating something from a chain restaurant with actual cross contamination protocol than the small business that literally advertises itself as a healthy/safe celiac option.

Very inviting atmosphere. Really fast service. They have a great cherry cider on tap. We ordered the California chicken burger.
The chicken was very done. We also ordered the Mac and cheese, which seemed to taste like horse Radish was in it, and also the chicken alfredo, which was very dry. They have very large portions. Their fries are really yummy. I asked for a gluten-free bun, which they charged me two dollars extra for. For the chicken burger and cider, it was $30 without tip.
Beyond delicious. Many gluten free options. Helpful staff.
I enjoy the yellow curry with chicken and brown rice with a fresh / spring roll. My friend had the Satay chicken and it too was delicious. Their peanut sauce is out of this world!
Menu as of 4/28/22
Cozy & relaxed. Friendly staff. I'm extremely allergic to MSG. I also will get sick from gluten. Every time I have ordered for pick up or dined in, every server / person on the phone have always been very attentive, super understanding and accommodating. Due to the severe intolerance to MSG and to avoid a trip to the ER, I always make it a point to have the order be repeated back to me and have always been met with friendly and professional demeanor. Last but not least, the house wines are good and food is super delicious! Thank you Champa.
I have a gluten allergy and had a very bad experience here. They included ingredients in a salad that would have been very easy to leave off. It was like they just couldn't care less. I gave them the option to not serve me if they couldn't insure my dish had no gluten. I have no problem with this restaurant otherwise. They just aren't a great option if you have these problems.
The service was amazing, we had a very thoughtful server (I believe her name is Monica, petite blond gal) who, after knowing I needed to avoid any gluten made thoughtful suggestions and took action on items she knew had an undisclosed/unknown addition of wheat flour to substitute with more accommodating items! The food (steak tacos) was delicious, the Bloody Mary's perfect and the friendly environment very enjoyable.
The bartender to the saloon for starters was rude and acted like our presence was an inconvenience. Upon ordering, we let them know that two or three of us had an allergy, yet he openly complained making us feel defeated already. He added that my mother’s disability was an inconvenience due to the table we had to sit at for dinner. They continued to put breaded onions on my Mom’s steak, contaminating her steak with gluten effecting her celiac disease. Suggestion of just scraping it off. I ordered the 14 oz NY strip medium. It came out very rare. They took it back, and brought it back still rare. I ended up not even eating, because by this point, everyone else was finished eating.. Both hospitality and food quality was extremely poor and saddening. To top it off, the sides were even cold and clearly old items. Certainly not a meal worth the trouble or cost of dining at this restaurant.
My husband and I came for an early Valentine's dinner. We are gluten-free, and there were multiple options for us, which is great. Our waiter, Seth, was amazing. Food was definitely on point. The sweet chili chicken is savory and just packed with so much flavor. It did take a little bit of time to get our food, but it was completely worth it. We were very happy with the food, service and atmosphere.
For our 20th wedding anniversary we went to Taroko Asian grill. It was a beautiful restaurant with what can only be rated 5-star dining experience with extremely affordable prices. The staff was very friendly and kind. They have a gluten-free menu! We got wanton appetizers. My husband got wanton soup and also a rich Malaysian Curry bowl [(Steak) comes in chicken and shrimp too] . I got the Taroko Chicken and rice, delicious! We asked for extra bowls so we could try each others food. We will have leftovers for a few days. For dessert, we shared stawberry ice cream wrapped in Stawberry flavored Mouchi layered on top of a bed of crushed berries. They have it available in 4 flavors. Everything was so good. Compliments to the Chef, you have perfected your dishes! The flavor palettes are amazing!
Definitely 5 stars! I can't wait to go again. Taroko Asian grill has got to be the best kept secret in Redding! If you are reading this,YOU will want to go soon before the secret gets out!
Service is always amazing. I ordered gluten free chicken burgers. They were good. You have to assemble them yourself but nice to have a place offering g.f. buns. Drive through moves really fast.
This place was great. They made a mistake but quickly fixed it. They also made us feel like it was a safe place for us to eat. A member of my family had celiacs and they were very accommodating and ensured we had a good dining experience.
Nice stop for chicken sandwiches, waffles and fries. They say the food is made to order and it may be a wait but our food was out in perfect time. Bonus points for the Gluten free bun! Unfortunately I couldn’t eat the fries as they aren’t GF friendly but other than that the naked chicken sandwich and apple slaw was delicious.
Everytime ive come here it is messy, the floor is sticky, and the staff seems stressed or on autopilot. If you are vegan and in the area this is likeley your best option. Your options are basically rice and beans, fajitas, sofritas, guacamole, corn, and salsa.
If you are gluten intolerant or have celiac disease, please do not consume their tortilla chips or corn tortillas as they are made with a blend of flour and corn.
Also, note to management, please emphasize the importance of avoiding cross contamination. Too many times I have seen cheese fall into the salsa or guacamole and just today I watch as the corner of a rag being used to clean the counters dipped into the beans and then the nearby food as well.
Great gluten free sub bread! Ingredients were tasty! We had 8 sandwiches total in our group, we paid for 5 and it was $80!!!!😲
Girls did not have service down. 3 of the 8 sandwiches were messed up. I didnt get the ingredients I asked for but was pushed along in line. Maybe just a bad day for service. However, the price is outrageous. Maybe atleast include drink and snack in the price? 🤷♀️
Tried this place for the first time just the other night. Definitely more of a Chinese/Thai fusion instead of just Thai. Our waitress was really really awesome! Very informative and helpful, and made sure we got exactly what we wanted. The portions are nice, especially for the price. Everyone at the table enjoyed their meal. Gluten-free and vegetarian/vegan options are available.
Love the old diner feel! The staff are so friendly and helpful! I'm gluten free and can have a few things on the menu which is great. And their coffee is SO GOOD! Seriously, so much better than the drip coffee at any of the coffee shops in town! Love it!
Helpful at specifying what is vegan and gluten free. The menu is a little confusing because the breads are listed as chickpea flour, lentil flour, rice flour, but still contain wheat so gf people may be disappointed they are labeled that way. Good options, good buffet available on Fridays and Saturdays only.
This is a great place to bring my 3 boys. They have decent pizza and gluten free personal size, which my family needs. They regularly update some of their games and the play minutes is such a better way to go. One of my boys prefers to do the racing games, and this makes it more worth it.
My favorite place to eat out. Having gluten and soy allergies makes eating out difficult however, this is one place I trust. Almost every item on the menu is suitable!
NEVER AGAIN! This is the third try to get food through Entree-Express.net from CASA RAMOS, REDDING. Spoke with a female stating she was the manager and a male, the second time who stated HE was the manager? Yes, we were refunded for our order, NOT good as we were promised our meal would be right along. At 9:35 tried calling for the the fourth time, just rang, rang, rang, NO ANSWER. DO NOT ORDER THROUGH CASA RAMOS, THEY DO NOT KEEP A PROMISE OF GOOD FOOD WITH ORDER COMPLETE. I AM GLUTEN FREE AND HIGHLY ALLERGIC TO CILANTRO, WHICH I CLEARLY STATE AT TIME OF ORDERING,
falls on DEAF EARS, ORDER IS LOADED WITH CILANTRO, TOO MUCH RICE, WHEN ORDER STATED NO RICE, DOUBLE BEANS, NO BEANS? We usually order once weekly from this CASA RAMOS, NO MORE,
I went there for the first time for my birthday dinner. Mariah was our waitress, she was amazing. She went through all of the gluten free options and substituted the crustini with their cauliflower pizza crust so i could have the baked brie cheese board. The no flour chocolate cake and ice cream were delicious.
