Sam was out waitress and she was awesome ! Super nice & great energy. I appreciate her making sure the kitchen got my order correct & asked them to remake my plate because I needed it to be gluten free.
So delicious, great service, great food! A ton of gluten free options as well. Came here during a trip with my family and we were all very impressed with our meals.
Went here for lunch today. I usually avoid popular restaurants like this because of the long wait times. But, today a Thursday around 3PM wasn't bad--there was no wait. I usually try to avoid pastas but decided to give one a try today. I usually go for Alfredo because they are safe. I ordered the Da Vinci which is a creamy mushroom pasta with chicken. It was very savory and good I would recommend it. Got dessert had to get a cheesecake. You can't go wrong with any of the flavors today I had a chocolate one but I want to go back for a lime coconut one. They did have 2 no sugar added lower calorie options for the cheesecake which is great for people who are trying to eat less sugar. "Low-Licious Cheesecake. Low Carb, No Sugar Added and Gluten Free Cheesecake."
Loved coming here for breakfast while we were in town. Highly recommend. And they have gluten free waffles. Call beforehand in case they are sold out though. Even the kids loved their breakfast. I'm not a waffle person but I had to have their waffles. They are that good.
Between appointments helping people with their Medicare, I had lunch with a friend of 40+ years. For health reasons, I have to eat gluten-free. I ordered their bacon cheeseburger with fries. The burger was great, but like most GF breads, it fell apart when I tried to pick it up. Knife and fork the rest of the way. The fries were great, and so was the iced tea. As for service, our server was either new or too shy to speak audibly.
Fantastic pizza! Great employees. I had a wonderful experience and look forward to my next visit. They understand gluten free.... No cross contamination here!
California peach kitchen pizza was good. I ordered the gluten-free pepperoni pizza tastes great. The white corn salsa was great, the tomato basil soup was not bad. The chicken tortilla soup was a little bit on the salty side. Overall, the takeout service was awesome and was able to sit and watch a game and have a little bit of Beer waiting for my food.
First time here, gluten free coliflower pizza is very good, burgers are just ok, wings were great. Service was not that great even though we had a nice server but you have to have more than one server and one busser to run a business.
Very good breakfast. Our waitress was very helpful, she brought the dishes quickly and hot; always attentive to what was offered. There are gluten free pancakes and other options. The outdoor terrace is very nice.
I am gluten and diary intolerant and came here with my husband who lives all things gluten and dairy :) the staff was incredible and was able to make me an amazing gluten and dairy free pesto chicken sandwich! I really appreciate them and the sandwich was AMAZING! Great pickles too. Thanks guys! I appreciate it ❤️
Itzel (Itsl, Itszel, etc) and the whole team on Monday the 24th at noon were fantastic. Not only did Itzel answer our questions, she was helpful in marking a gluten allergy, and she was speaking multiple different languages to help every type of customer. 10/10

Jake, our chef, was amazing tonight! We brought our son Preston for his birthday and Jake mentioned him by name and wished him a happy birthday multiple times during our dinner. Jaden our server was efficient friendly and attentive to detail. There was a member of the other party at our table that has a gluten allergy and both Jake and Jaden went above and beyond to ensure we all had an equally enjoyable experience. Teri checked in with us at the end of our meal to make sure all was well. Overall 10/10 would recommend! Thank you Benihana for making our son’s birthday dinner memorable.
Over the last 7 years, we have been here about 5 times.
I would say that we have always had very good service, and the food has always been good too!
I have dietary restrictions as I am a vegetarian by choice, but also have Celiac Disease and need to order gluten-free. I was very happy to see that this last time we visited, they had a gluten-free bun on the menu. I also like that I could order sparkling wine and that there is a pretty decent adult beverage menu.
This time we went to eat there, we took 7 of the volunteers for my nonprofit Traci's Paws, to eat after they volunteered the late shift for our recent charity event, and they all really enjoyed it.
It was the first time for all 7 of them to dine here, and I think that many of them will be back.
While this restaurant is probably here for the hotels that are within walking distance, I really like that it feels like it is off of the beating path and like a hidden gem that I can sneak off to when I want a really good burger that feels like my parents made, and not "fast food".
I have been craving Asian cuisine since before Christmas, specifically Chinese food. I finally had a moment to myself and came to Pick Up Stix for lunch yesterday.
Carla waited on me and recognized I was trying to figure out the menu and after I ordered something vegetarian, she said that I could order anything on the menu and get tofu instead of meat.
She was very good, and very friendly!
I was having a rather tough day and almost didn't stop in, had my dog with me and when she suggested I sign up for the rewards program I declined, but I will sign up now that I have free time today! But she made sure I knew it was available to me if I wasn't already a member.
I was happy that there was plenty of parking closer to the side or rear entrance than the main one and parked very close to the door.
It was very clean inside and including the tables and floors.
Food came pretty fast and after I got it home to eat it I was so happy that my craving had been satisfied!
I also wanted to make note that they have gluten-free options on the menu which is great!
I am happy that there seem to be more vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options now than 10 years ago.
I definitely recommend this Pick Up Stix location and if you ever order with Carla, tell her she's doing a great job!
Celiac diner here…I called ahead to check safety. They let me know what wasn’t safe and assured me they could handle a celiac order. I was nearly done with my bowl (chicken, greens, no sauce) when I found a piece of their carved lamb beef which is NOT gluten free. So frustrating!
Ordered take out over the phone. Had some modifications to the order and I am gluten free so I made sure to voice those changes on the phone. When I went to pick up my order, my pizza was not gluten free. After waiting double the time they told me it would take to make it, it was remade incorrectly. Unfortunately, I did not realize until I was back at the hotel. I called and was asked to bring it back to be refunded. I did and all is well. But it’s been 80 minutes since I tried to order dinner and I am left hungry.
ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PIZZA!!! My mom has celiac, so she can’t eat gluten. Their gluten free pizza crust is phenomenal!! My mom always gets some when she comes to visit. Their specialty pizzas are amazing as well!
Always a chill place to grab a burger and a beer. Love that they give you a choice of fries, tater tots, or upgrade to onion rings. Love that they’ve got a burger with an egg and bacon. Carne Asada Fries are great too. Their Peabody’s Red beer is worth trying. Staff is super friendly and accommodating (spouse is gluten-free). One of our go-to spots for a good meal without making a production out of it.
The pizzas were delicious, they make an amazing gluten free. The customer service could've been much better though. We waited in the dining room for our take out order, was told it would be 25 mins. We waited 1:15 because they forgot about us, and realized it when the store was closing. We had ordered before so many people that had left already. Not one employee would make eye contact with us, not one apology or anything. They even cleaned up the dining room for closing while we were still there. Not even a thank you for waiting.
Halal wagyu kebabs and wagyu shawarma in SD.
Being in SD, I had to try this because anywhere there is halal wagyu we make the trip out.
I got the wagyu beef kebabs on a salad for dine in and a wagyu shawarma wrap for later.
One thing I noticed, is that everyone in the restaurant and outside seating had wraps. So if you’re going to try one item, get the wrap if you can.
The beef kebabs are juicy with a slight crisp on the outside. I wish I tried this in the wrap but was sharing with those who didn’t eat gluten at the time. They have separate fryers for fries and fried chicken, so if you have a gluten allergy you can still get fries.
The beef shawarma is slightly tougher than shawarma that I have had before so I would recommend wraps over plates/ fries as the sauces, veggies, and bread help with the texture. Make sure to get extra sauces. We liked the chipotle and garlic dipping sauces.
Everything was served in disposable bowls/ plates even when we dined in.
Spoke with the cashier, and they use Australian halal wagyu for the items that are Wagyu.
We had a great experience. My parents always love bringing the family to Outback. Today was our second time we had Kelly as a server and she is super GOOD! Will definitely request her next time.
Also, please add a gluten free dessert option to the menu. Thanks !
