Fully vegan and gluten free. Everything was truly very good. One of our favorite plant-based joints yet. Convenient parking and access. Chill atmosphere. Not busy at all for 9am on a Sunday. Also great coffee and tea place right by it as well. Perfect stop for my family w/ 2 kids passing through town.
It's a very cool place to eat. The food is good and the staff are super friendly. My family loves to hit it up when in Spokane. Great gluten-free options, fantastic breakfasts. It's always worthwhile for a place to eat.
Saranac Public House – Spokane, WA
We thoroughly enjoyed our experience at Saranac. I was dining with someone who has celiac, and we had zero issues finding great gluten-free options. The team did an awesome job.
I ordered the chicken wings with gochujang sauce (not gluten-free), and we shared the steak and potatoes appetizer, Thai chicken flatbread, and mac and cheese. All had gluten-free versions available and were outstanding. The flavors were bold, the portions generous, and the service was top-notch.
Also, happy hour is available all day on Sundays, which was a great bonus.
Great food, plenty of GF options, and excellent service. Highly recommend. We will be back for sure.
Pretty disappointing experience. They were almost completely out of everything gluten free, even though they have an advertised gluten free menu, which was one of the main reasons we chose to eat here.
We decided to stay and eat anyway, and ordered our food. When we received our food it was extremely cold, and yet the steak I ordered was extremely overcooked.
All things considered, we likely won’t be back, and you should probably avoid eating here also, unless you want to be really disappointed.
Such unique flavors and amazing tacos! They were able to accommodate to my many food allergies, including being gluten free and dairy free and I was able to have a meal in a busy restaurant without any reactions. Friendly staff who although clearly very busy, took the time to ensure the food I was eating was safe for me. Only downside to this place is that they don’t have one in Portland, OR!!
THE BEST dining experience I’ve ever had. I was never a food connoisseur, but NOW I am. This place livened up my taste buds and now I see why people dine at elegant restaurants. WOW! AMAZING SERVICE, BEAUTIFUL FOOD, VERY knowledgeable and friendly staff. ALSO 90% of the menu is GLUTEN FREE and they change up the menu every 4-5 months continually exciting you for the upcoming dishes! The entire experience makes me finally see why people do fine dining. I’ve never been utterly impressed with food until now. The best date night ever!!! Thank you for this dining experience!
For quite a few years now Red Robin has been a great spot to go out for burgers and fries on a Friday night. And amazingly it’s not overcrowded.
My wife and I were able to enjoy a couple of burgers with bottomless fries. She is gluten free and she was able to get a gluten free burger. Their fries are awesome too and worth getting the bottomless option if you’re looking to fill up. We also ordered garlic and aioli sauce and tartar sauce, which did not disappoint!
We also liked the service as the lady was attentive but definitely not overbearing. I did like the payment system where you just pay up through a portable kiosk that sits on the table. Super convenient way to pay and get on the way.
I would recommend for you to try this place out if you haven’t been!
Staff was lovely and the food was super good! It's great that they have gluten-free injera as an option- my friend has celiac so it's always good to find a reliable restaurant to go to.
I had the pleasure of celebrating a night out with my sisters at P.F. Chang's in Spokane, and everything was absolute perfection!
We indulged in the decadent Chef's Feast, and let me tell you, it was a masterclass in flavor and abundance! The portions were generous, to say the least, and we relished every bite.
Our waitress was an absolute rockstar! Attentive, knowledgeable, and warm, she made our evening truly special.
The culinary highlights were endless, but the gluten-free options truly stole the show. The gluten-free chicken was a game-changer - crispy, juicy, and full of flavor. It's rare to find gluten-free options that impress, but P.F. Chang's nailed it!
If you're looking for a dining experience that will leave you feeling full and content, look no further than P.F. Chang's in Spokane. Five stars aren't enough - I'd give it ten if I could!
It was just an amazing place overall. We were on a roadtrip and just passing by. I was so surprised to find a dog friendly restaurant that was also gluten-free! I was very pleased!
I was so surprised by this place! Wow! I can't believe this place has been tucked away this entire time and they have a ton of amazing gluten-free options and selections, and all house made! Their food is very authentic, VERY flavorful, and their portions are very decent! And the atmosphere is so warm and inviting! The service was, also. Every was perfect! My gluten-free pizza and spaghetti were both amazing, too. And they have very good creme brulee, which is my favorite. I can't say enough good things.
I never would have found this place if I hadn't gone next door for a tattoo, but I'm so glad I did. I will definitely go back soon and I highly recommend it!
Mizuna has been my go to downtown restaurant for years, tonight however was a complete disappointment. My scallops had a beautiful sear and were delish, however the accompanying risotto was under done and full of butternut squash. My gluten free/vegetarian friend had ordered the risotto main and her entire entree was underdone, full of squash and tasted like fish. My friends and I meet there every year to have wine, food and a wonderful holiday visit- we are willing to pay for the experience.
That did not even come close to happening this evening.:….at one point during our lengthy wait for food, I went to the bar to get my own glass of wine!
I did not take out my disappointment on the wait staff- but rather waited to submit my concerns to management.
We came to the downtown location for the first time. Been to the north location before and enjoyed it there as well. Food came pretty quickly and everything we ate was delicious. They have a good amount of vegan and gluten free options available. Our waitress was great! We will definitely be back to both locations .
We LOVE Sushi.com! Super chill atmosphere, they seat you by window whenever they can, prompt service, menu has gluten free and veggie options clearly marked and great GF soy sauce! Delish California rolls, edamame, cucumber salad, shrimp and veggie tempura! Thx Shushi.com!!!❤️🫛🍣🍤
Variety of delicious homemade soups made daily. Offer vegetarian & gluten free options. They also serve salads, bread and beverages. You can see a list of the daily soups on their Facebook page.
I have Celiac. They were great at accommodating my allergy. All the food and drinks were delicious. The pairing of sweet and savory of the pork chop was perfect. The staff was friendly and very professional. The atmosphere is delightful except for a very bright bulb right above our table. I would recommend this as a must to experience if you are in Spokane.
I'm going to start with if you want gluten friendly it really isn't gluten friendly. they cook it all on the same surface witch contamination from the gluten pizza messes up the gluten free pizza.
Amazing food and drinks and the service is so great! I have celiac disease and ordering safely was so easy. There were so many options and everything was incredible. Definitely going back!
I have celiac disease, so it excites me when I go somewhere and see they have gluten-free options. I ordered some pasta, and it didn't taste great, very bland, and not my favorite. I had to wait more than 45 minutes to be seated, which likely was my bad. I didn't know you needed to reserve sitting, so that's on me more than them. I did end up getting really sick from the food I ate, likely cross contamination? I'm not sure, but if you have celiac disease, I would say maybe don't go here. It's not worth the risk because I had some major pain after that meal.
This place has a little of everything. The food was pretty dang good. I'm a super food snob and can't have gluten or dairy. They Had a few choices for app, entrees, and even had a gluten free, dairy free chocolate cake that was frickin amazing. Oh, and an NA gluten removed beer! Nice staff, very neat building too.
My husband and I had dinner and drinks here before going to a concert. Both the Hungarian pepper appetizer and the pizza special (chicken BBQ and jalapeno) were very tasty! The heat level was well-balanced for both dishes. Our server, Liesel, was friendly and had several great cocktail recommendations. My husband has celiac, and the kitchen was able to make several gluten-free substitutions. We're definitely adding Wooden City to our Spokane restaurant rotation!
Hidden gem. FANTASTIC. From our phone to call to check on Gluten Free options to the AMAZING service from Melissa to the best GF bun we've ever had to the Huckleberry cocktails to the Creme Brulee. This place ROCKS. One of the best meals we've had out in years. We were hesitant to come here as the ratings on Yelp and Google weren't above 4.5. Not sure what's happening and we're thrilled with our experience. We walked several blocks in below freezing temps and if we're ever back in Spokane we'll be coming back. Thanks Melissa and team.
We heard about the great food and decided to try it out, and we were not disappointed! Smash burgers and the BBBLT were great. One in our party had Celiac and was able to have a delicious burger. The sides were fantastic, and if you like a little heat, then try the Dr. Pepper Chili. The Nutella dessert was pretty fun.
Service was super and the atmosphere was lively. Will keep it on our list of places to revisit.
The most flavorful meal in Spokane! This hidden gem was wonderful. I am sensitive to soy and gluten. I had CHILAQUILES - yummy! One companion is sensitive to fruit. The chef marked the menu as to what we could enjoy and all were so very pleased. Their signature drinks were also perfect for each of us. I hate sharing this place, as we may not get reservations in the future! I humbly bow to the chef!
This place is a vibe. Nice relaxing vibe. I love sitting at the bar and watching how they make drinks. The food is great. I do wish they offered more gluten free options but they specialize in whiskey so I also get it. Have always had a great experience here. Highly recommend!
Hey a lot for your bucks Been there three times and we all have had a great experience and they're is already 5 or 6 of us. Kid friendly and senior friendly. Mom is gluten free and she has found things to eat.
Fresh food, fresh concept. Finally a downtown eatery with a new concept that puts my time as a customer first. If you want variety in your life you’ll find it at KASA. The food is not the old burger, fries, but fresh new and high end. So many choices, even gluten free and vegetarian. Also, you don’t have to please the the most demanding person in your party by going to their choice, Asian, Mexican, or Italian because at Kasa will give each person in your group the ability to satisfy their craving. For sandwiches, you can choose the Adobo Pork, Veggie, MiMi, etc…
The concept of Kasa is not for “the old Spaghetti Factory” customers, but for discerning foodies that want to eat up good food not their time. Since they have the table order system, with wait staff, you don’t have to sit wondering how long it will be until a waiter comes to take your order, you just order and wait for the food to come. I love it!!
Stopped here for lunch during a business meeting. I wanted to order the chef’s leisurely lunch but I don’t eat gluten and it was bread and pasta heavy (yum)! I ordered the chicken entre. The carrots were my favorite part of the meal, chicken was cooked to perfection. Servings are sufficient, not overly large. I wanted to get dessert but decided to pass even though they looked wonderful. Would definitely come back. Delicious!
This is my first time here, and so far I'm 100% impressed. First thing I had was the Crispy Calamari. Oh my gosh, this is not what you will expect. Grab your fork and dig in. For dinner, I had the fish and chips. Get rid of any idea you have in your mind about what you will receive when the server brings you the plate. This is by far the best piece of fish I have ever had...and it's gluten-free (unless you're Celiac, then get salad instead of the chips.
