I love this place. It's been several years since they opened and the pizza is still as good as it was then. My go to pizza: white sauce, feta, mozzarella, spinach, chicken, artichoke, roasted tomatoes, with a basil herb after bake is so yummy. They even have gluten free pizza. Highly recommend!
They are really good about gluten free. I was told the owner found out he has celiac 4 days after opening the store. They use clean equipment and are knowledgeable
Our business is located nearby and we decided to have a company-wide picnic to enjoy the nice weather before the calendar turns to fall. We were tired of the same old options that we usually have at these events. We gave Pita Pit a try today and it was a huge hit with our employees. Ordering was easy and the food was fresh and delivered on-time. All of the platers were neatly packaged and labeled which made it easy to select your favorite pita. We also ordered a group Rice Bowl which worked great for everyone, especially our gluten free employees. We found our new favorite spot and will be ordering from Pita Pit again!
No complaints about the customer service but multiple times in a row now where I received the wrong order or wrong portion. Ordered a 12 piece grilled chicken nugget and only received the 8 piece. For $3 more dollars it would be nice to have the correct order. And then today I received fried chicken nuggets instead of the grilled chicken nuggets I ordered. I have Celiacs disease, and so I had to throw the whole order away as the food was contaminated with gluten. It would be nice if they actually protected those with allergies. Put me in danger and wasted $10 on dinner.
I should start by saying I am reluctantly gluten-free.
There were still customers in the lobby, so I tried to go in first, and it was about 5 min before the lobby closed for the night. I told them l just wanted to grab a take out real quick and didn't want to go through the drive thru with my trailer the girls washing windows told me I couldn't and gave me some sass. I would have just left normally, but it was the last place open with a gluten-free option, and I had a 1½ hour drive home.
☆They did have a gluten-free bun and have gluten-free grilled chicken.
☆They didn't serve it as it was supposed to be topping in a box and bun individually packaged in plastic. ☆They overcharged me $2 for the initial meal. I ordered an original extra pickles gluten-free, so with the prepackaged bun and grilled instead of fried chicken(I miss fried chicken) ☆They put in a deluxe with baccon meal so it cost the extra $2 then of course I was charged for the bun which I expected why does gluten free have to be so hard everywhere. The long and the short of it, the chicken sandwich was okay. The bun was meh, and the service was awful. Next time, I'll go without if I can't go to AURTHOR JAXON'S THE FOOD IS AMAZING AND THEY DON'T HASSEL YOU OVER GLUTEN-FREE!!!
Writing my review after 2 years I visited this place last time in Sep 2021 while visiting Rochester from Dallas, TX. We really liked the food and the staff the family is really accommodating. We asked for Gluten Free items as well. I will definitely be visiting on my next visit to Rochester, NY.
Great spot for your classic American greasy fare. Their garbage plates are top notch and I love that they offer white hots. Lots of great potato base options for gluten free people like myself!
Excellent food, if a tad expensive byuy big enough to share.
Employees are delightful, accommodating, and the food is excellent. Well worth the money. Also have gluten free rolls.
The food was decent, although the taco shells were a bit rubbery. That's a simple thing to make crunchy by baking them in an oven. The employees were not at all friendly. I tried to be friendly (I always am), and neither the woman fixing my meal nor the cashier even cracked a smile. When I thanked the person assembling my food, she said nothing at all. When I thanked the cashier, I got the same conplete lack of response.
I LIKE Chipotle. I have celiac disease and it's one of the few restaurants that I can eat virtually everything on the menu. Aside from the burrito wraps, everything is naturally gluten-free. There are better locations, though. I'd rather drive farther away and go to the Jefferson Road location because the shells are nice and crisp, and the employees are much friendlier. It's also cleaner.
This has legitimately been my #1 favorite burger place since I was a child UNTIL my diagnosis of celiac disease. They do take allergy orders seriously, but the meat hot sauce (which is out of this world) is thickened with wheat flour Instead of corn starch, and because the sauce is what makes it, I no longer do bill grays. 🙁 Otherwise I'd give a 5/5 rating. 🙂👍
These are by far the best subs in Rochester, definitely worth paying a couple dollars more for! The service staff is always so friendly, you walk out blessed just from short conversations with them. Highly recommend getting your sub Mike’s way, and the spicy relish is incredible! Also, I’m excited to tell my wife they now have gluten-free bread too.
This restaurant is amazing! It's a quaint. Very romantic but kid friendly restaurant. The food is sensational but more than that the owner himself is gracious and just amazing. The food is all handmade. Just delicious. And can we talk about the dessert options please?!!!
Keto and gluten free included in the dessert options. Just amazing. This is one you want to keep on speed dial!!!
I was happy to be able to have a couple gluten free options; chili, potatoes, fries, salads. Fries weren’t fresh but the chili was nice and the drinks were cold and tasty!
I come to this chipotle a lot and everyone has always been so friendly and whenever I do pickup or delivery they always get it right. I’m also gluten free (due to allergy) and they’re always really accommodating of this. Definitely my go-to!
First time visiting this Tom Wahls location. I've been to other Tom Wahls locations and I must say, they did a great job remodeling this one. It's very clean and bright. There seems to be plenty of seating.
I really do like their cheeseburgers. I also got onion rings with my order and they were perfectly done. They also offer gluten free rolls for those who have been craving a good burger, but can't eat the bread.
