I cannot comment on the rooms as never stayed but We come here basically all the time for pizza ! Always a great vibe and atmosphere, the pizza is the best offering gluten free option also - which is just as tasty as the regular . Garlic bread is on point also.
Great drink options and local beers I’ve not tried but partner and friends love , i have never had a bad experience here and will keep coming back. Upstairs garden is nice too on a sunny day with open seating or sheltered, best pizza in Inverness.

Came here for Father’s Day. This was our second visit to this pub and the food was excellent. The pub offers gluten free which is safe for coeliacs so I always eat well. I had the pork roast, the portion was massive. Only negative was no GF Yorkshire and the pigs in blankets was just stuffing wrapped in bacon which was a shame. However they were absolutely huge. The staff are always helpful and friendly.

I met a friend there for lunch and she is celiac, gf and a vegy. The service was fantastic; fast, efficient and friendly! The food was lovely and I'd recommend the key lime pie.... def all home made and delicious. Only went for an evening meal. Excellent venue, very attractive inside and out. Food was super quality and plentiful. Good Gluten free range for me which is a rarely found in eating establishments. Prices were also good. Staff were very efficient and kind. Great range of beers, cocktails and spirits.My only gripe is that dogs should not be allowed anywhere in restaurants because of the smell and noise they create and that the vast majority of dog owners haven't bothered to train their dogs. I understand that venue owners want to attract dogs owners so they do have separate area for dog owners to eat which is a good idea. I say, leave your stinky, noisy dogs at home. All in all its a fab place to eat, drink or have a party. Even though its a two hour drive I would definitely return.

Probably one of the most fullest gluten free menus I've ever seen with options of battered and fried gluten free items including tempura?? Incredible.

Staff went through the menu with me but effectively they could make almost anything gluten free. We ate at the pub and it was great! I got the chowder and it was well seasoned and very tasty with lots of haddock and small shrimp. Came here for lunch to celebrate a birthday. As someone who has a gluten intolerance, eating out is hit and miss, often being the latter. I was surprised that almost every little thing on the menu had a (C) next to it, meaning it would be suitable for celiacs after an adjustment. I ordered the ham ciabatta, and was so impressed. The bread was actually nice, not the tiny, spongey bread we normally get given. It tasted like the real thing and it was amazing! Would really recommend!

5 star all around.
We came for a wedding but will definitely be back. Having spent a whole weekend Friday -Sunday night at the hotel and eating every meal there I feel like we got a good feeling for the place and we're really impressed.
Friday night they were able to feed us as a whole party with ease and no fuss, everything arrived as expected and they allowed us to all pay separately. Handled it much better than so many restaurants I've been to that can't cope with large groups. They have all allergens marked on the menu which was really appreciated and they had a good range available for gluten and dairy free which was amazing. Everyone enjoyed their food and the staff were brilliant.
Saturday and Sunday were more of the same, excellent staff, excellent venue, excellent food.
Sunday we ate outside for lunch. If you want a roast you need to eat inside but pub food was available for the picnic benches on the green in front. A lovely place to sit and watch the animals wander by.
We stayed in the self catering accommodation, all looks brand new and of a very high standard. I'd recommend for families as it was lovely to have space to sit in the living room and if you're on the ground floor there was a garden with chairs and a table. If you got both ground floor apartments you can open a gate between both gardens. If you're in self catering, breakfast is obviously not included in the price but we were able to pay to eat breakfast in the hotel no problem.
Everything was so good, but final note, if you're looking for a wedding venue, it was brilliant, I'd very much recommend it. The big room for weddings was not too noisy with everyone talking which is appreciated and there's gorgeous gardens behind the pub. The wedding part is all behind the main pub so the pub could operate as normal and the wedding/ guests etc was all segregated behind with it's own bar etc which I liked.
Ample parking, there was a min car park with Electric Vehicle/ EV charger as well as parking for the self catering next to that accommodation. Overflow car parking happens in front of the hotel.
It was very popular and busy all weekend so I have a suspicion that booking a table ahead may be sensible or coming off peak.
