We wanted something quick and easy close to our hotel. We found food revival, an indoor food court. I chose art of Dosa, where everything is gluten free and vegan and absolutely delicous! Server was so helpful and made suggestions. I chose the Buffalo Dosa and it came with the greatest spicy sauce.
A really cute vibe inside, food was varied and all very safely marked for gluten free or veg. Service was great as well. I got the veg platter special for Lunar New Year and my partner got the chickpea curry and loved it. The appam was very fresh and fluffy, and the yucca bites for an appetizer were great. We got ice cream and the rice cake for dessert because it looked so good, even though we were full. It was delicious! We'll definitely be back!
Definitely going to return to this restaurant! A friend and I came, and I’m gluten intolerant, but she can eat just about anything. She admitted later that she was nervous when she found out it was also vegan, but as soon as we got our first appetizer, we knew we were in good hands. Everything was fresh, deeply flavorful and nuanced And balanced, and delicious. We loved the lentil fritters, and the gluten-free samosas (which are softer than traditional wheat samosas but still very delicious), and the tamarind sauce they came with, and our entrées. Everything was delicious and filling! We barely had room for dessert but we were glad we did, dessert is wonderful if you like coconut. Though I’m not a huge fan of coconut shavings, which made up the bulk of the crust of the mango cake I got, I still was happy to finish it because it was just that good. Both of us were thinking of friends we could recommend the spot to before we were finished. I will say they take a little time to get dishes out, so keep that in mind— but freshness THAT good takes time!
I tried their cappuccino, pecan tart, ras malai macaroon and gulab jamun macaroon. Their macaroons are gluten free and they do offer alternative milk options.
Their bakery is good but I loved the vibe more. It's very ethnic and Muslim-oriented (they have a prayer rug too MashAllah) and felt like a really nice spot in the area to hang at with your friends/family.
This is what we ordered:
1. Momo stuffed steamed dumplings seasoned with Himalayan herbs and spices, served with an exotic Nepalese sauce Chicken or Vegetable Momo (we had mixed 3 chicken and 4 vegetables)
2. Goat Curry gluten free tender goat cooked with traditional mughalai spices, chopped onions and saffron
3. Tava Mixed Grill gluten free boti Kabab, Tandoori Chicken, Chicken Tikka, Reshmi Kabab and Tandoori Prawns, served with grilled onions and lemon slices
4. Large rice on a side.
No drinks ordered.
The food was delicious, service helpful and friendly. Looking forward to coming back.
The server took the time to explain what was gluten free which was very helpful. A lunch menu with smaller portions and prices would be nice. Photos of food options would also be very helpful.
One of my favorite casual restaurants in the city. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. The environment is incredible both for solitary work (reading, etc while you eat) and catching up with friends. I’m addicted to their curry fries and find myself craving them every week! Delicious options, even if you’re gluten free, vegetarian, etc.
Flambe Libertyville is a nice Indian restaurant with great options for vegetarian, vegan, gluten free dishes. We visited on 12/7 and was pleasantly pleased with Tony's customer service throughout the time we were there from taking our orders to the final few minutes before we left. We ordered Samosa Beet feta which is by far the best Samosa combo I have tasted. Cardamom Cappuccino was a great selection from the drinks related to Christmas specials. Amritsari Fish Fry was well cooked and tasted delicious. I ordered Xacuti Vegetable which Tony said was a Goan style curry with flavor of Kashmiri red chillies and spices. We also had few other items from the menu like Raita, daily dal, chili paneer, garlic cilantro naan. The restaurant has a bar. There are plenty of parking spots available. Bathroom was clean.
I was absolutely thrilled by my experience at Indian Harvest. I was blown away by all of the dishes, the presentation of the food, the atmosphere - everything!
The whole staff was very kind and friendly. Our waitress was incredibly attentive and also respectful. The food was truly a delight. The booths are very beautiful and private. The wine and cocktail lists were thoughtful and original. My wine was affordable and delicious!
It can be tricky to find a restaurant to go that pleases both me and my sister, since I eat everything and my sister has sensitivities to dairy, gluten, and sugar that make eating at a restaurant challenging and sometimes straight up painful! They have a very clear menu with MANY nut free / vegan / gluten free options. And everything was outstanding.
Thank you for your amazing hospitality! You are a gem - I would give more than 5 stars if I could!
Loved this place. Food was amazing. Service friendly. Naan was the best ever. I can't have gluten but this was worth it!! Will be back when I'm in the area. Just wish it was closer.
Best food ever! I have dined in many times with my family and friends. The staff are incredibly nice and friendly. My server was very knowledgeable about the menu and gave good recommendations. They have a huge menu with gluten free and vegan options. I love the gobi 65 and dhal tadka. You're able to customize the spice level as well. Nice outdoor patio! Mira is my favorite server.

This was my first Indian restaurant experience!
My sister in law chose the restaurant and it was a perfect choice.
I am one of those that always will choose something different on the menu and if I have never heard of it then I am going for it!
I had the paneer pasanda and it is to DIE FOR. I can't even describe it. The sauce to dip the dish and my side of Naan in is quite addicting. Nothing was overly spicy or acidic, it was quite perfect. The pasanda was rich with creamy texture.
I highly recommend the Sweet Potato Chaat, it was bursting with flavor being topped with the yogurt mousse. (Check out the photo!)
And my significant other who went for a Gluten free option LOVED the tasty salmon and potato dish.
The wall art was stunning and unique.
Will definitely come back!
Went here for lunch after church and it was so delicious! The staff was very helpful in answering questions about what is gluten and peanut free. There was a wide variety and everything was delicious.
As someone with celiac, I have NEVER had the chef personally come out to my table and discuss what I could and couldn't have, UNTIL My Place. The head chef/ Owner came out and walked me through the menu, and prepared special Naan bread for me. This level of care made the experience THAT much better. The food was AMAZING! My party all ordered the My Place curry. We all had orders of chicken as well. We ordered Tikka Masala (mild and spicy) butter chicken! We had Escargot as an appetizer and it was wonderful!
My family shared five dishes with rice and naan for dinner, and everything we tasted was delicious. The restaurant was able to adjust any of the dishes we ordered to our spice level. The menu had allergens well listed; the restaurant accommodated gluten free and dairy free with no issue. My kids loved trying new to them foods and flavors. The mango lassi was a perfect drink to help my youngest daughter with any dish she detected with a bit of spice. We finished the meal with kheer. The restaurant was very clean and a fun atmosphere to be in. Yum!
If you want fast, delicious food at reasonable prices, Rajun Cajun is a great choice. They have great variety, including vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options. Rajun Cajun also cares about their community and has been supporting Midwest Workers Association for over two decades. I encourage everyone to try this Hyde Park institution!
Excellent location! Food was to die for. Vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free options. Staff was very accomodating for spice level preferences. Additionally, the server was extremely friendly and brought out some desserts on the house. What else can you ask for!
We love ordering takeout from Khyber Pass. Food is delicious, super well packaged, lots of options for gluten free, vegetarian, vegan, meat eaters alike. One of our go-tos.
So happy that this place opened up in Des Plaines. The pizzas are amazing, with really anwesome Indian flavors (maybe a bit spicy for those not accustomed to heat on pizza). I’m especially impressed at the GF precautions that they take as our son has celiac disease, so anyone with gluten issues, may be rest assured. Also a plus is that their chicken on the pizza, and I’m told the pepperoni as well is Halal. The customer service is fantastic, with friendly pleasant smiles, and very prompt. Also, even though it’s in a liquor store, the pizza area offers decent amount of seating, with a bar area and TV, and kept very clean. We went on Friday after on 7/26, and ordered a number of pizzas (you also get a few small cheese if you order two other small pizzas). Thanks much!
Delicious Indian dishes and Indo-Chinese. Don't forget the mango lassi or rose lassi drinks! Kids menu available. Gluten free, vegan and vegetarian options are marked on the menu.
There’s a reason the reviews are so great. I ordered via delivery twice, and everything was amazing. Highly recommend the butter chicken and paneer tikka masala (10/10). My partner has celiac disease and feels safe eating here. Everything is clearly labeled GF so there’s no guesswork! Excited to dine in soon.

Excellent service, hospitality and food. They prepared a special starter for my son who has a gluten allergy. The menu caters well for allergens - a gluten tolerant person can only not have Naan - everything else is fair game.
Delicious food and huge menu. Vegan options clearly marked. Not a lot of vegan options but the ones they have are pretty good! A lot of vegetarian and gluten free options. Good service and nice vibes.
Delicious Vegan and gluten-free food...Loved the chili nan bread spicy and flavorful..will definitely come back ..Amazing customer service who helped us place an order was a Vegan as well so He knew exactly what we would like..all Vegans and gluten-free people will love the variety of options here
The food was very good and our waiter Aravind was genuinely wanting to make sure we enjoyed our meal. He was able to explain which dishes were safe for us as we have gluten and dairy allergies. The portions were better than most Indian restaurants we have been to as well.
We are excited to have an Indian restaurant in the neighborhood! The food was delicious, a noticeable spice but not overpowering. Love that almost everything is gluten free. Looking forward to many return visits! Super friendly owners!!!
This was my first time dining at Flavor of India. The staff there were friendly, attentive, and took time to explain the spice levels of the dishes. The food was flavorful, and staff were able to tell me what dishes were gluten-free. I would recommend ordering a rice dish because not much rice accompanied the main dish to mix with the sauce. I will try different menu items when I return.
Delicious vegetarian Indian food, casual nice atmosphere, lovely service. This is my go to Indian restaurant in Chicago. Perfect for a night out or ordering in. Gluten free options. Good sized portions, great flavors, crispy delicious dosas!
Really good South Indian dosas.
Chef advised Angadi at coconut chutney for fear of contamination of gluten through seasoning - really really appreciate that. Thanks
Masala chai was also great.
I had catered from Madurai Kitchen for my wife’s birthday. From the time I called them to enquire about their catering, they dazzled me with outstanding service. Particularly Hemalatha was prompt and thorough with the recommendations, pricing and policies. I requested samples of the food I was going to cater, they obliged. The samples were delicious. We added dosa station to the menu as well. On the day of the party, Hema followed through on all the details. The chef showed up on time and everyone loved the food. The hot masala tea was a super hit. We had about 70 people and there was practically no left overs. Hema even arranged for gluten free appetizers.
I am beyond delight on the quality of the service. Thanks Hema a lot for making it a memorable celebration.
Indian Paradise is an outstanding restaurant in wicker Park.

Shuri was our server and he was very helpful and knowledgeable. He took extra care to ensure everything I ordered was gluten free. Everyone here was super friendly and the service was superb. The food was delicious and it came out quickly.
I really, really wanted to give this place 5 stars but I have Celiac and told my server I'm allergic to gluten. She was very accommodating but I double checked with her if the samosas are GF, she said they were, and I've been violently ill and vomiting as a result. The food was really good and they do have a large gluten free selection, but if you have Celiac be wary.
The best Indian food...heck, best FOOD...in town, hands down. Even better the staff make you feel like family and are very helpful in making accommodations for gluten sensitivities. I'm always looking forward to my next meal from here. More than worth the drive to the edge of town. Hoping this restaurant becomes a permanent fixture in town.
The best ever in town! I tried almost every dish so far and quite enjoy! Most of them are gluten-free too. You should definitely try Mango & rice pudding beside the super delicious tikka masala, rice, veggies and many more. The owner is a very lovely lady who makes you feel at home:)
Recommended 100/100 for Indian food lovers! Thank you!
