New favorite restaurant! Excellent food, whether or not you’re vegan. Almost the entire menu is also gluten free as well, so this place is perfect for those with dietary restrictions. This place has been struggling since Covid, so go and show them some support, they deserve it!

Update 1/6/23. This piece gets really busy on the weekends especially after 8 pm. It looked like they were understaffed since there weren’t a lot of silverware available. Seats were limited. It’s still a great place to get desserts and I love how aesthetically pleasing they are. I would recommend going on a weeknight. This time I ordered gluten free chocolate torte, passion fruit cheesecake slice, key lime tart, and kashmiri chai. Everything was palatable. Gluten free chocolate torte was smooth and just a small amount of richness. You don’t want it to be too rich, otherwise you’ll feel full faster. Passion fruit cheesecake, you can immediately taste the fruit and it’s not subtle at all. Key lime tart was very good, not as sour as you would think. Kashmiri chai I’ll have to order again. Very savory and I love how there are pistachios in it. Small dessert place but they also have some savory options that I’ll have to try next time. Nice hangout place. It wasn’t busy when I went and there were no kids. We ordered creme brulee, cookie butter cakesicle, gulab jamun cheesecake, ras malai cake jar, karak chai tea, and pina colada. I didn’t have any favorites. All of the desserts were delicious. Prices are reasonable, since there aren’t too many Indian dessert places.

It really is the best Chai in the city (if not the country)! I LOVE chai and had many many other chai's in Chicago and across the country and honestly none of them stack up compared to this place. I don't know what they do, but it really is amazing. The food and atmosphere are also great! I have celiac and there are plenty of GF options and staff are always helpful in making sure nothing is cross contaminated.

This was my first Indian restaurant experience! My sister in law chose the restaurant and it was a perfect choice. I am one of those that always will choose something different on the menu and if I have never heard of it then I am going for it! I had the paneer pasanda and it is to DIE FOR. I can't even describe it. The sauce to dip the dish and my side of Naan in is quite addicting. Nothing was overly spicy or acidic, it was quite perfect. The pasanda was rich with creamy texture. I highly recommend the Sweet Potato Chaat, it was bursting with flavor being topped with the yogurt mousse. (Check out the photo!) And my significant other who went for a Gluten free option LOVED the tasty salmon and potato dish. The wall art was stunning and unique. Will definitely come back!

We randomly stumbled across Thattu while we were out. All the staff was extremely helpful and kind. Almost everything is gluten free and tastes delicious! We went for lunch and got the chaatertots, kerla fried chicken bites, and the chettinad pepper chicken with rice and appam. All was delicious, but our favorite were the chicken bites. Will definitely come again!

I loved it. This is the best place to Eat pizza. I’m gluten sensitive and I love Pizza. I’ve had Pizza in multiple places but none tasted the ones in Pizza twist. And the girl who took the order looks like Audrey Hepburn, so cute 🙃

Extraordinary food, very comfortable restaurant. I have celiac disease and the server went out of his way to ensure my food was gluten free. The food is reasonably priced, the server was attentive and accommodating. We will return to this restaurant.

Very good food! So much selection I couldn't believe. There's a lot of variety, allowing you to have gluten free options, along with vegetarian options. Absolutely loved, the only thing is that when it's a little busy it's quite hard to get any service. They checked on me and my family a lot through the night, but as more people arrived we got much less service. Otherwise everyone was extremely friendly. Definitely authentic, delicious, Indian food!
