Always just kind folks and are always helpful when it comes to my food allergies. I can't have dairy or gluten and I get the Chicken Daal with no dairy and they always make it perfect and safe each time
Awesome vibe and delicious food. Very accommodating for food allergies - I have severe celiac / gluten free and they took care to ensure no cross contamination. Highly recommend
I’ve tried a few different Indian restaurants over the years and I was loyal to one — until New India. I love coming into the restaurant and seeing the familiar faces of the family working together. They’re always so welcoming and warm. The FOOD though… I’ve not had anything I didn’t like. I’m partial to lamb dishes and the kadai, korma, masala and vindaloo are all incredible.
Vegetable pakora is a must. And it’s chick pea batter, so gluten free-friendly. My husband says they have the best garlic naan and paneer masala above the other Indian restaurants we’ve had.
Wow the food here is soooo good. So many vegetarian and gluten free options. Really nice staff. You can choose your spiciness level. I lovedddddd out meal. Large portions.
We love eating here, food is so flavorful and delicious! They are always very accommodating to our food allergies too. Love the gluten free options they have! Also, I highly recommend their hot chai, it's the best I've ever had!!!
Delicious food, clearly labeled allergens on the menu, and plenty of gluten and dairy free options. The biryani is dairy free, which is rare. It’s a family business and everyone was very helpful, warm, and inviting.
Dee our server was so attentive and lovely, I'd come back just for the service she provides, not to mention the delicious food, large portion sizes, and well marked menu for different dietary needs including vegan and gluten free. She even sent us home with another portion of rice. Samosa Chaat is to die for. Love this gem in the valley of Akron!
This is my new favorite India restaurant. The food is fantastic and the portions are better than other places I've been. The atmosphere is relaxing and the staff are very attentive and super nice! They have gluten free options too!
We had a great experience eating here. The owner took the time to tell me what was gluten free (most of the menu was gluten free). The food was great and everyone left happy. The owner even sat down with us and talked for a bit. Really great dinner and will definitely be back.
Delicious food with very kind, attentive staff! My sister is a vegan and I’m gluten free and the menu has an abundance of options for both of us. Best (and biggest) dosa I’ve ever had. Hands down our favorite Indian restaurant in Northeast Ohio!
What a genuinely nice staff, great atmosphere, great outside dining and great food. The Mango lassi is awesome.
The tandoori chicken is so good I can't describe how good this is. The chicken masala is really good. The naan is really good too.
They do a great job of labeling their menu of what is gluten free and what is not as well. I found that very helpful.
I'm not cultured enough or something to give this place the the glowing review that it deserves. The only place that ever impressed me as much as this place was Bombay Sitar in belden village and the Curry Pot is just as good if not better.
I love this place.
Keep up the great work, guys.
Nick

My friend and I had such a lovely lunch at Paradise. We had vegetarian biryani and navaratan korma. The food was outstanding as was our server Sonu. They have some gluten friendly vegetarian food which both of our diets require.

NOTE PSA: There are Gluten Free options on the menu, AND some of the bread options *Are NOT actually gluten free*. They are supposed to be in the process of updating their menus.
I was able to find ample options that were both Gluten free and nut free. Servings were generous, appetizing presentation, you could smell the spices and ingredients, the sauces and foods were flavorful and prepared appropriately.
The service was professional, courteous, friendly, and clean. Tables and overall establishment was friendly, warm, inviting, clean, and had a flair for ethnic decor. Good natural light from the front window, several booths available for a more intimate date or gathering, and then several tables in the middle of the floor.
I found them in an online search near Severance Hall. They do take reservations. I highly recommend this place, and will eat there again. Oh, prices are fair for what you receive. Beverage selection is sufficiently varied of good if not excellent options.
They were having a rough night because they were down staff; however, they were very apologetic about the delay. The food was fresh. It could have been spicier. And you do need to order rice separately as it doesn’t come with your entree. We both had Chicken Tikka Masala. Indian is usually a good option for those needing to eat gluten free, and the man taking our order was knowledgeable.
I love ammas kitchen, I have a gluten and dairy intolerance and eating here is so easy. I never have reactions from eating here they seem to take pride in meeting all dietary needs. The menu clearly states allergens next to meals so you can easily decide what you want to try. There are several options for my diet restrictions. As a Hyderabadi who loves their home cooked food, this restaurant is now a staple for my family.
We absolutely love Kaab! We've dined in once and recently ordered via DoorDash, and both experiences were fantastic. Even our picky kids are big fans. While I can't personally enjoy the naan bread due to dietary restrictions, my family raves about it. The Chicken Tikka Masala is gluten-free and incredibly flavorful! The service was excellent when we dined in as well. Highly recommend this spot for both the food and the overall experience!
The food was good. The base spice level was higher than other places I've visited. They told us what items were gluten free, but I didn't feel very confident about it. Favorite food we had was the lentil donuts.
When we visited they required a reservation to dine in and could not accommodate 6 of us at one table. Service was poor in that we had to ask for plates, more water, for the check, and for napkins.
Wow, what a pleasant surprise! I wanted to go somewhere new for my birthday, but I am gluten-free so usually end up at the same few places. Indian sounded good and I read that most dishes were gluten-free here (not the naan, of course).
I ordered the Lamb Mushroom curry. It was AMAZING and everyone else was happy with what they ordered, too. Korma, Tikka Masala, Naan, Tomato Soup (the soup was pretty different than European/American tomato soup, but lovely). Someone also ordered a Sweet Lassi (yogurt drink) and said it was really good.
Rice was served somewhat family style (more than one dish of rice was served, but they were meant for sharing) and there was plenty to go around. They also offered more rice.
There was no one else seated in the restaurant the entire time we were there! Our waiter was extremely attentive and kept making sure we were happy with everything. We saw lots and lots of DoorDashers coming and going, though. Almost continuously! So it must not be a secret that this place has the good stuff! Haha.
Help keep these guys afloat during the Pandemic! They made a bright spot in my day! They're the only Indian restaurant that is willing to work with my food intolerances. They were able to suggest meals that could be made (gluten free) without garlic and onion. I seriously miss Indian food since I have been diagnosed with digestive disease and food intolerances. Thank you Swad!
I’ve been to Flame India twice for the lunch buffet. They were fabulous with my gluten and dairy allergies showing what I could and could not eat. The food is delicious! My friend enjoyed his foods with gluten and dairy, too. 😊 Great service, helpful staff, and beautiful atmosphere. I’m looking forward to coming back for dinner soon.
Ok so Doaba is some of the best Indian food ever, definitely the best in Columbus. We come here weekly and the owners are extremely kind and attentive. This is a hidden gem of Columbus. The weekend buffet is to die for (til 3 on fri sat sun). If you are celiac or gluten free, Bobbi will tell what you can have. So delicious and the chicken curry is incredible. Chicken tikka masala is great here too. If you’re in town, I highly recommend you stop by here. Quick service too!
I built my own bowl. I’m gluten free and dairy free. I appreciate they had these options labeled on the menu… but the food…It was just okay, it wasn’t particularly fresh tasting. And I asked for non spicy but it ended up being spicy. Also a warning that the “ crunchy red onions” are actually raw red onions- which didn’t go with my dish, and it was a heaping pile of them. As far as the dairy free and gf option a to make my bowl, I may as well have went to Chipotle- because it did t end up tasting like any Indian flavors at all. Didn’t love it, but the people that work there were extremely nice and helpful.
The food, staff, and atmosphere at Star of India are always so delightful. It is my favorite place to eat in Athens :) There is a whole vegetarian menu that can be made vegan upon request, the curry is gluten-free, and so is the pakora!
Absolutely delicious! They also were very accomidating about my gluten free diet. Thank you so much, I will repeat. I work right near them, and so many options to choose from.

Just discovered Bombay Kitchen. What a well kept secret in Toledo. I had the Chicken Butter Sauce. It was just great. This is not a chain. Everything is home made and absolutely authentic. The owner, Rita, was so nice. She brought us different sauces to try and made recommendations for our 1st time. The garlic bread was great for dipping. A bonus is that many items are gluten free. You would think the curry sauces are hot, but they can make them as hot or as mild as you would like. They have menu items that are non- traditional in a typical Indian kitchen but Rita has made them “Indian”. There are Burritos and Tacos. They also have fries with Indian spices. Can’t wait to come back and try something new.
This is a really great place to grab authentic and delicious Indian food. The gentleman who owns/runs it is super kind and friendly. You can adjust the spice level - even my spice-adverse kids love their mild level - and their curries are gluten free too.
They were closed for awhile and I was super bummed. I'm REALLY glad they opened back up.
