3 stars at best. While I am grateful for being able to eat safely when travelling, this was not my best dreams. I had the gf pasta with mushrooms and prawns. The mushrooms were spongy or rubbery and the prawns were well overcooked. The sauce was very salty and garlic overpowered everything. I think I’ll be safe from a vampire attack for weeks. The extra 3,50€ for gf pasta is clearly stated on the menu so I was prepared for the pricing.
My salad was tired and the lettuce limp or slimy.
I was disappointed with my meal. I won’t be returning.
The service was great. The staff attentive. I can’t fault them. Again, I am totally grateful for restaurants who go above and beyond to cater for those with coeliac disease. Maybe I just got them on a bad night. I’ll leave it to others to make their own decisions. Buon appetito
I was told that if I eat the pinsa at Pinsa, I would give up pizza in the future 😂 Yes, the pinsa tasted great👍but pizza is still pizza😘🤗 So at this Italian restaurant you get a great dough, perfect for vegans or gluten-free eaters ✅ It is fermented for up to 70 hours, great, you feel like the dough professionals are at work here👏 The location is great, lots of parking, seating outside or inside, as you prefer. In the evening you should make a reservation in advance for outside seating. Right in front of the restaurant there is an ice cream van, with homemade Italian ice cream 🍦 So all in all a highly recommended local Italian restaurant

Gluten-free pizza is actually quite tasty.
But unfortunately, it always comes with a very thick crust (a bit doughy and dry). With a thin crust like regular pizza, it would taste much better :)
Otherwise, very satisfied.
Rosa, her husband and daughters Grazia and Anna made the best of my week in Germany. I discovered that I am celiac but the trip had already been planned… After 4 days of endless searches to find at least for dinner (during the day I made do with corn crackers and snacks bought at the supermarket for celiacs) a place that guaranteed no cross-contamination, I decided to return to Italy because it was really difficult to find restaurateurs “on the ball”, even if they were GF certified. Trattoria Rose was my salvation. Rosa and her husband cook only and exclusively gluten free… so no risk of contamination!!! The choice of menu is very varied. The dishes are really good and cooked divinely. Rosa is also a fantastic pastry chef and her husband bakes exquisite bread and produces very good cheese… all strictly in a contamination-free environment. The last three days of our vacation we were regular guests of the trattoria and the hospitality of Rosa’s family was truly touching. I ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND IT!

Gluten free pasta and pizza
The gluten-free food tastes extremely delicious
Service always tried hard and friendly and very accommodating. They recognize their guests and that gives you a very good feeling
Delicious, but not a place to go to if you have a complicated order on a Friday night. I have a gluten AND a dairy allergy, so I am always excited when I can find a place that is serving gluten free pizza when we travel. After a long day at Legoland, we just wanted to-go pizza back in our hotel room here in IUlm. I had a small glass of wine while we waited (which I wasn’t actually charged for… but I honestly think she forgot) and watched the happenings while I waited. I definitely noticed the woman making pizza and noticed that she didn’t use a different crust before they said my order was ready. I asked if one was gluten free and of course it wasn’t, though my kid’s ‘bambina’ pizza was ready. She made a new pizza, and when it was done, I was too hungry to remind them that I’d ordered three toppings but it only came out with one. A pizza without cheese is not a lot of fun to begin with, but a pizza with just sauce and spicy salami isn’t exactly what I was looking for. However, the crust, sauce and salami were all delicious and my daughter ate her kid’s margarita up. Just a word of caution: this place gets busy, so if you’re ordering something complicated (gluten free without cheese but with three toppings) and the server doesn’t write it down… well, just be ready to follow up.
Highly recommended, down-to-earth Italian restaurant with a large selection of authentic dishes (e.g. Scaloppine, pizza - also gluten-free, gnocchi and pasta). Quiet ambience and atmosphere - also in the guest garden on the street.
We had very tasty gluten-free kebab. The service was very good and very friendly. Thank you very much, dear Melek, for the gluten-free experience for Max.
5 stars for the truly unusual Italian food selection...absolutely your "untypical run-of-the-mill Italian"...dishes you won't find anywhere else on the menu.
Delicious...could be a bit more, but sufficient. Prices are OK.
There's also a vegetarian menu and gluten-free pizzas.
Friendly service...sit outside in the summer.
It was our first time there and we received a very friendly and courteous welcome. The entire process was explained to us calmly and our orders were taken. The pizzas were truly delicious, whether they were wheat, spelt, or gluten-free. Definitely recommended.

The food is delicious and the ingredients are of good quality. Gluten-free alternatives are also available. If you bring vegan cheese, you can also get your pizza with that.
Unfortunately, I can't recommend it. It feels like half the dishes are no longer available, especially the gluten-free pasta, and the food is very tasteless.
My girlfriend who has Celiac Disease, and I love coming to this restaurant. The owner is extremely friendly and the ambiance really cozy. The pizzas are top-notch and the best in the region!
Gluten-free tip!!
The gluten-free pizzas here are second to none. Absolutely delicious. The dough is made in-house, as per the information, and tastes fantastic. Gluten-free pasta (penne) is also available.
Definitely worth 5 stars!
We spontaneously stopped by for dinner today and left happy and full!
We were particularly impressed by the homemade dough – even the gluten-free version was really delicious!
The hosts were super nice and welcoming – thank you so much!
We'll definitely be back :)
Nina let us in despite the private party when she found out I have celiac disease. The pizza dough is homemade and tastes absolutely delicious.
Thanks again, and we'll be back.
I was in seventh heaven. Gluten-free pizza and pizza bread are a dream. Never had such a good gluten-free pizza. Definitely coming back. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff.
This was one of our favorite places in Baden Baden! This is a legit family restaurant that has the most amazing gluten-free pizza and pasta! They bring their pizza crust in from Italy, and you can’t tell it’s gluten free 🤗 🍕 The wine prices were very inexpensive and excellent choices. They also had some German meals if not everyone in your group wants Italian food. So accommodating!
The service here was unmatched.
They also have an outside area 😍 it’s a very quiet and beautiful street, they also have an awning that comes out when it’s raining.
Super delicious food and, fantastically, also gluten-free pizza pinsa and pasta and all that with more than friendly staff, more than recommendable, always happy to go back☺️👌
Delicious gluten-free pizza, the same price as the normal one and as far as I could tell, great care was taken to avoid contamination with an extra base and directly on the plate
served, great!!
A little noisy in the restaurant, but no wonder given the crowds at lunchtime.
We were at Lucio's yesterday. The food and service was simply great. I was particularly excited about dealing with my celiac disease. As a sufferer, it is always difficult to go out to eat in a restaurant. Celiac disease is often not taken seriously enough and cross-contamination usually cannot be avoided. But not only is the boss very knowledgeable because his wife also suffers from celiac disease, he was even able to assure me that the gluten-free preparation is made separately for those affected by celiac disease. His relaxed and humorous manner made me feel like a completely normal guest. And it tasted great too. I'm really completely thrilled and will definitely come back.
It was my first time eating at Sale e Pane with a friend and we both loved it. We had a super nice and cozy place. The service was totally friendly and also flexible. My friend can't eat gluten and asked if the kitchen would be kind enough to make the bruschetta with a gluten-free roll she had brought with her. That wasn't a problem at all. Really great! The food was really very good! Price-performance is absolutely right.
Very cute little restaurant with seating in 2 different interiors and outside with blankets.
We made reservations in advance because there were 10 of us. Everything went well.
The service was great. We were served quickly and competently. She was very friendly and polite.
We were asked several times if everything was okay, thank you.
It was just very, very narrow in our room, others would describe it as very comfortable.
Very rustic furnishings.
The selection of dishes was very clear. Some soups, salads, starters and pinsas (large, small, gluten-free)
The pinsa was delicious.
You could pay individually in cash or card (no credit card!) Be careful: everyone who pays by card unfortunately cannot give a tip! Take a few euros with you if you want to give some.
The best gluten free pizza I've ever eaten. It is baked in a separate oven.
The staff is extremely friendly and attentive. They are very knowledgeable about gluten-free.
Anyone with celiac disease can eat here with a clear conscience.
We'll be back.

I've been to da Peppino a few times and so far I've actually been quite satisfied. We ordered gluten free pizzas. But this time the pizza was really subpar. I've never had such a bad gluten-free pizza crust. The consistency was, no lie, like that of a grilled cheese.
I have no idea what happened there, but in the future I would no longer order pizza from da Peppino if that was the new pizza base.
