10/10. I'm gluten free and we had a great experience there. The gluten free bread was so good I didn't think it was gluten free đ Turns out it was but the brussel sprouts were some of the best I've ever had and the artichoke dip was great. My mom got the carbonara gluten free and it tasted the same from when we were in Italy last year. The inside of the restaurant was very well executed. It was a great birthday dinner and our waitress was very nice and accommodating.
I have celiac disease, which is a SEVERE gluten allergy, and I have been to rapid fired many times. When I go in, I always let everyone know I have an allergy, and they make mine in the back to avoid cross contamination. Thatâs all fine and well, but I was told I could have a desert pizza gluten free, so I ordered that at least 5 different times. Turns out, the cinnamon topping has gluten in it!! If youâre wondering âwhy didnât she notice?â, itâs because celiac reaction isnât immediate. Anyways, if you or your loved ones have celiac, would not recommend this place. Itâs so horrible when your allergy isnât taken seriously. If I had a peanut allergy I wouldnât be treated this way.
This was an amazing experience. My meal was fantastic (many gluten free options including dessert). Our server was knowledgeable and so awesome! Highly recommend this restaurant!
A perfect angle for a historical Bellevue, Kentucky street view while eating. I was so impressed by the atmosphere and food. I have celiac disease so I was so grateful for the gluten free options and knowledgeable staff.

I had only been to Impellizzeri's once, may years ago, but I've had to avoid gluten for the past 19 years so my pizza options can be limiting. Impellizzeri's was a killer experience. The Bianco on a gf crust, grassfed meatballs, and the antipasto salad were all perfect. The staff was super friendly and it was a great dining experinece. Would recommend and will definitely be back.
We drive a semi truck and we wanted pizza. I eat gluten free. I looked at the near by places and decided on Puccini's due to the rave reviews about the GF crust. We dropped the trailer at a truck stop and drove about 20 miles. I asked about the different sauces because....I DO NOT like red sauce on my pizza. I decided with the garlic/parm/butter for the sauce ON the pizza. We order our food to go. (Hubby got his own pizza). Our order is ready, we leave, I grab a piece of pizza en route back to our trailer....and the pizza has red sauce on it. I figure maybe there was some miscommunication between the guy at the register and myself. Whatever, we don't have time to go back. We got back to the trailer and now I can see the pizza...it has onions on it - I don't like onions and I did not order onions, I ordered mushrooms because they were fresh and not canned. There were no mushrooms on my pizza. I ordered GF crust, garlic/parm sauce, pepperoni, green pepper, black olives, and mushrooms. Either they gave me someone else's pizza or the cashier was not on his game. The hubby gives his Ultimate Warrior 4 stars. I would love to rate the GF crust however hard to tell with the red sauce on it. I scraped off most the red sauce because the cheese layer slid right off. Very disappointed as I was looking forward to some tasty pizza. - signed Pamela, the disappointed wife.

Our waitress knew I was gluten free and she surprised me with a piece of their flourless chocolate torte, because it's gluten free and she wanted me to try it. So sweet! And so good.
The use of the building is pretty cool. Bar is hidden somewhat from main dining area. Food presentation is cool. Had the eggs to start. They were vey good with a tangy taste. Ordered a poutine to split. Came out in a large bowl. Unfortunately the burnt ends were laden with nothing but salt and made this inedible. Sent it back and it was replaced with cornbread at no charge( nice call on management to make things right). The cornbread was good but not to my liking. No sweetness of corn or even a hint of it mostly cornmeal taste. I felt like I was eating Bobs Red Mill gluten free product and was turned off. The meatloaf and mashed potatoes were the highlight especially the gravy. Both well done. Our waitress was younger and absent most of the meal but could be seen hanging out behind the wall at the bar area. I would return if back in the area to try again.
The pizza is NOT SAFE for Celiacs or anyone with a gluten allergy. The flour they use is a finely milled wheat, which might be fine for someone with a mild gluten intolerance. They did offer gluten free pasta. It would be nice if they offered a truly gf pizza in the future
This was our first time at a Carrabbas in 20 years. Having Celiac I was impressed with how many gluten free options they had. I got the pollo Rosa Maria and it was very salty. The manager walked by and asked how our meal was and I mentioned it was great but over salted. I love salty food but even for me it was a lot. I was surprised that she comped my meal and offered to get me something else. I still ate most of it and used the mashed potatoes to cover up the saltiness.
The ambiance and cleanliness was great! Our server didnât seem like he liked his job very much and his tone made it sound like he was bored and didnât love his job. My husband even cracked a joke about it after he took our order.
All in all, I think weâll go back again to try it out another time.
Great pizza at this location. My daughter has Celiacs and this is her favorite gluten free pizza. Most importantly, she's never gotten sick eating here
Sauced has the best cauliflower crust pizza Iâve ever tried. Better yet, if you are intolerant to gluten they make sure not to allow it to come into contact with anything pertaining to gluten. Iâm not gluten intolerant, I just love the cauliflower crust.
This restaurant was great on so many levels!!!
None of us expected to be as good as it was, we thought it was going to be just your typical pizza place, but it was so much more!!! We ordered, Spaghetti and meatballs, Lasagna and a gluten free pizza and everything was incredible!!! Our waitress Abbie was phenomenal as well!!! Highly recommend!!!
What a wonderful restaurant! The service was always amazing and welcoming. We stayed in Lexington for a week vacation and appreciated the homestyle cooking Sutton's has. Our family tried almost everything on the menu and were always satisfied. They were also able to accommodate a gluten intolerance. Thank you!
We were celebrating my husbandâs parents 61st anniversary. Usually a party of 14 you expect to wait a while for drinks, appetizers, food and desserts. This was not the case. Micah and Matthew were accompanying with suggestions and serving us. Everything we had was delicious! There is a QR code on the menu with even more entree choices with pictures. Iâm gluten sensitive and I had so many options to choose from. They even offer some sauces and desserts that are gluten free. We had a wonderful dining experience! Thank you Annaâs.
One of our favorite pizza places. They have a good gluten free pizza. And their calzones are awesome.
Salads aren't the best, but overall worth a visit!
Our server, Travis, was friendly and personable. The food was delicious. They even had a gluten-free crust that didnât taste like cardboard. Overall, a very pleasant experience.
Excellent service, delicious food, a variety of Italian options, and a great atmosphere to relax and enjoy friends. Both meals Iâve had here have been awesome; thereâs also the option of whole wheat or gluten free pastas.
We went here to celebrate our engagement in early February. It was absolutely wonderful. The staff were so friendly and helpful. My fiancĂŠ had called ahead and made some special arrangements and we were greeted at the door with them. The food was FANTASTIC. They gave us free champagne and desert. Also, I have celiac and they had wonderful gluten free options. Best Italian food in Lexington! The atmosphere is upscale and fun.
I can't eat pizza crust - not even gluten free. Impellizeri's doesn't need it. My family gets to eat their glorious full-crust pizza, and I take the generous toppings off and can eat them like a slice. That's how good. Atmosphere, bleh. But I ain't eating atmosphere yet.
Everything in this restaurant screams Italian! The music the atmosphere....and the Food! The food was Amazing! The service was amazing! Can't wait to go again!!! They have an delicious Gluten Free Pizza.
It'd been years since we've eaten here, not because of a bad experience, just because we've got our favorites & we don't stray from those very much. Well we've added this to the list of our favorites. We went there for lunch right at opening. We had the sweetest waitress & the food was fantastic. We were feeling pasta so we ordered from the dinner menu. Our Italian salads were fresh & delicious. We both had versions of spaghetti, with one of them with gluten-free bowtie noodles. They were great & We'll be getting those again. We also had the strawberry cheesecake which we had to order two of so we wouldn't fight over it. It was a lovely meal from beginning to end.
One of the best Italian restaurants in our humble opinions. We were pleasantly surprised they had gluten free pasta. Everything was incredibly flavorful. Apart from the bar section of the restaurant with the TVs, the environment is cozy, warm, and romantic. The night we dined there was a brilliant live music artist serenading the room with piano and sax.
We'd definitely recommend and we're already planning our next outing here.
Food Allergy Friendly!!! They don't advertise it but they have both gluten free and dairy free options for their pizza. They have an allergen protocol and their staff is knowledgeable about common food allergens. Everyone is super friendly too. Check them out!
I have never written a review before, but had to for this place. Hands down the best food I have ever had. Meatballs are absolutely delicious, pizza is so good. They were cautious with my wifes gluten free allergies. The outside seating was wonderful too. The server Nick was very friendly and as busy as it was, he stayed on top of the tables made sure everyone was taken care of. Anyone who says the food or service is bad, is either a hater or a liar. Will definitely be back.
Take and bake pizza. They took care of my gluten free and vegan cheese needs. There donât take call in orders though so plan to arrive in time for them to make the pizza.
Papa Leno's is a hometown favorite! It is locally owned and operated, which I prefer. I know some of the workers personally and they are dedicated to good customer service and great food. I appreciate the option for a gluten-free pizza crust. Pap Leno's is the first place I ate when I visited Berea many years ago and I continue to go back again and again. They are now closed on Sundays, so come any other day of the week and you won't be disappointed.
This place never gets old it's an old building three floors their food is amazing The breadsticks are my favorite with their marinara sauce excellent choice you can make a meal of that and it's just an appetizer I would definitely recommend this place to anybody we drive almost an hour every time we go to eat there and then there is a ice cream place across from it that has a bowling alley inside and there their bourbon butter pecan ice cream is amazing. Oh they also have gluten-free options as well and they are very careful when they make your food as to make sure it doesn't touch any gluten My daughter is highly allergic and she is able to eat here with no problem.
Similar to Nicolettoâs in Nashville, Dannyâs is the go-to spot in BG for fresh handmade pasta. You can create your own pasta bowl, take home fresh pasta & they have salads, sandwiches, focaccia & their homemade sauces jarred for purchase. Their pizza slices are affordable & 1 slice is all I needed to feel full. I also took home some Rigatoni + gluten-free Fusilli pasta that cooked beautifully in 90 seconds & had the perfect bite you want from fresh pasta. The shop itself is a little cramped when busy, but everything they make is worth the wait & your money âđť
Old world quality of cuisine and service which are not often seen these days. Everything was delicious and brought out quickly. That said, the noodles on the cannelloni were more al dente than desired, and lacked sauce inside. One big plus for my wife, and probably many others was the Gluten free options available! By the way, I flambĂŠd my own tiramisu.
Volare is an up-scale italian restaurant. There's not much more to say! The food is great and mostly unsurprising, the bartenders serve fantastic drinks and the servers are polite and generally knowledgable.
If you're looking for a night out with solid food, drink and service this is it.
As a person with Celiac disease (gluten allergy) they offer a large portion of thier menu without dreaded flour and even have pasta substitutions for all but the lasagne. I've never been glutened to my knowledge and I leave feeling satisfied.
Here are some of the nitpicks, the building and decor itself could use an overhaul or cleanup as particleboard ceilings and 15 year old decor dont lend itself much style. The menu itself is very standard fare as well, but perhaps the predictability is a plus for some diners.
Richmond olive garden is one of pur favorites!
They do cater to gluten and dairy allergies with the salad! All you have to do it ask. They will even bring you the things you need omitted on the side if the rest of the table is not gluten/dairy free.
Okay, get ready. This is my first visit to Apollo Pizza. My husband had been here before so after searching nearby our home for a pizza place that didn't have a "cafeteria" feel, and that offered gluten free options (score!), this was it. My standards were set high and kudos to Apollo for meeting them! The service was spot on! We will return!
Mixed drink are niiiicely poured.
The gluten-free pizza is amazing! Cool vibe and music. Customer service is friendly. Highly recommend especially for gluten free pizza, it's the bomb.
