Such a good vibe, very calm even though it’s close from the main streets and board walk. The owner and staff are so kind. And the food, wow so so good. We tried the pizza, it was like an authentic Italian pizza. **they have pizza and pasta that are gluten free !!
Honestly can’t remember if I posted a review last year but I’m back in town and CANNOT wait for all of the delicious food. It’s hard not to go overboard as everything looks and tastes sooooo good! The cupcakes are delicious and moist, the bagels are incredible and the hand pies/patties are a huge treat!
One of the most impressive gluten free restaurants I’ve been to in any of my travels and the staff are lovely.
My mom who does not have celiac diasease also agreed all of the food was great and she can’t wait to go back either!
Charming and cozy place with 100% food as well as vegan and gluten free pizza. I love the menu. I only took a photo of half the menu but they have baguettes, pizzas, soups, nachos, salads, flautas, tostadas, hamburgers, nachos and more. They have beer and wine for sale. The staff is very friendly. The place is clean and well ventilated. The garden is beautiful and they grow their own herbs for cooking. Inside the place there is also an area selling clothing and bags as well as crafts. I come to visit Ajijic and it is the second time I come to the restaurant and it will definitely not be the last. I loved everything! I wish they were also open for breakfast. I highly recommend this place 💚
Such a cute cafe with great service, great food and good coffee too. Lots of authentic options and also great gluten free and dairy free options too. Definitely recommend if you’re in PV, we came here multiple times ⭐️
Wow. Just WOW. Truly felt like we were in a fine dining restaurant with owner Carlos presenting us each dish explaining how it’s made and his SUPERB service! That’s just the start, the actual food is OUT of this world. We got the MEAT, veggie poblano and guava crepe and my goodness it was all mouth wateringly amazing. I’m gluten free and everything was made with a special gf batter. The outside is so stunning too. 10/10 amazing. Will be back!!!!

Lovely restaurant, food was good, not exceptional but quite nice. Service was excellent and the ambiance while dining on the beach was lovely.
After dining at numerous beach restaurants in PV the beach vendors are very overwhelming while trying to enjoy your meal. It would be nice if some partitions were in place to keep vendors out so they aren't hassling you at your table. Drinks were okay, they had a nice selection of "not-your-average" cocktails.
Very accommodating to gluten and dairy allergies and the menu was easy to navigate these allergies as well.
We love this place! The food is always amazing, the executive chef visits with the patrons, and the staff always goes above and beyond to make sure everything is on point. They handle gluten-free and dairy free with extra special care. Definitely check La Dolce Vita out!
Everything was absolutely delicious! They even had gluten free pasta and pizza options! The staff was very friendly and attentive. We will definitely be back!
This restaurant is wonderful all around. Fabulous food, view, staff.
The servers were very knowledgeable about gluten free restrictions and there were tons of amazing gf options! Highly recommend if there is someone with a gluten free diet in your party.
Had to he best experience here. My girlfriend has celiac and they were very helpful in finding the right food for her. Friendly staff, tasty and large portion. Highly recommend.
Excellent! The food and drinks are amazing here. And they accommodate vegan and gluten free diets. I would highly recommend the Estrellado Toast - I had it multiple times it was so good. Super friendly staff as well :) I wish I could bring this place back home with me.
Busy and slow service. I see lots of great reviews so want to try it again. Maybe I can change my mind about it, sure hope so...
Tried again, still slow service but worth it especially if you're looking for gluten free food...
Today for my wife's birthday breakfast, food was good and service excellent. Like I often say don't judge a place by one or two visits....
From the moment we walked to the time we left, service was impeccable. Entrees arrived hot and tasted as freshly made. Portions on the large side, so if you want dessert, come super hungry or pace yourself. Pri rs were reasonably. Gluten free options available were marked on the menu. Staff very knowledgeable. Fettuccine Puntanesco (GF penne substituted) and Spagehti Carbonara were ordered with Wedge Salads. Table bread complimentary and brought GF tortilla chips as well as an attentive courtesy. Totally two thumbs up!
Great modifications to make a bowl gluten-free using the ingredients found in other bowls. Swapping coconut for the granola and pumpkin seeds for the sunflower seeds were excellent recommendations by the staff to create an amazing breakfast.
We were surprised our meal was more of a dessert flavor with breakfast intentions. Add a Chai Latte to your order, a touch of warmth enhances your taste bud experience.
Finding Ono took a quick look down the alleyway, walk just a touch farther than the pin drop in Google maps.

Wonderful handmade food. Flavorful, vegan, gluten free! Healthy, keto. So many great options for health conscious people while traveling! Thank you chef!
This place is beyond amazing! There were so many vegetarian options (they have a dedicated menu for veg and gluten free). The food was incredible, the drinks were delicious (highly recommend the passion fruit and the strawberry margaritas), and the service and atmosphere couldn't have been better. We were simply blown away, and returned several times during our trip.

Reading some of the more negative reviews of Pipi’s, you’ll notice a number of self-infatuated Anthony Bourdain wannabes complaining this restaurant is “inauthentic”, “a gringo restaurant” or excessively touristy. These critiques are ego-driven and can be dismissed.
Much of Puerto Vallarta's Centro area caters to tourists, and Pipi’s is no exception. Indeed, some elements of the Pipi’s experience are performative: the mariachi bands, the Mexican sombreros, the giant margaritas, the “Don’t Drink the Water; Drink the Margaritas!” sign in English on the wall. It might not be to everyone’s taste, sure, but that doesn’t mean it’s a poorly run business.
Here are some things I loved about Pipi’s:
* Good prices and portion sizes.
* Tasty food, lots of options to try.
* Fresh-made guacamole at your table — they ask how spicy you want it, then make it right in front of your eyeballs using fresh avocados.
* Excellent, attentive service, waiters in bow-ties.
* AMAZING for gluten-free/celiac diners.
* Fun atmosphere + live music.
My wife and I enjoyed the experience so much, we went twice in one week while in PV.
In conclusion…
If you just want to impress your friends back home with stories of how you, the intrepid explorer, ate a street taco, you can skip this place.
If you want to enjoy your vacation and have a nice meal in a positive environment, go to Pipi’s.
I love this cafeteria. The food is delicious, so are the drinks, and there are options for those who are vegan, or who do not consume gluten or sugar. I love
They have an app that includes free food delivery in the area - the app also accepts credit card (the restaurant is otherwise cash only when dining in person). The traditional styled Mexican food is great and a green juice smoothie helps recover from the night before. Also generally easy to eat at as someone who is gluten-free. Brilliantly located in the Romantic Zone.
Excellent food and service in a perfect spot. Food was clearly marked for gluten free needs (thank you!).
Grilled fish tacos for me — SO good! Very filling. My husband had the shrimp ceviche and oysters, he loved them both.
Service was top tier, loved our lunch here.
The place is nice and quiet, the staff is friendly, the breakfast was delicious 😋 and the drinks too
I ordered red chilaquiles and a hot latte, my boyfriend chose green chilaquiles and a cocoa drink, I liked everything ♥️
Dessert: brownie (gluten free) I recommend it
Suggestion: Have a homemade/natural sauce🌶
Gluten free and dairy free options!
The food was amazing and our waiter helped us with choices on the menu based on food sensitivities.
We came in for veggies and salad after eating tacos. We were pleasantly surprised by the options on the menu. We ordered the carrot soup, baby green salad, and figs and goat cheese salad. Everything was delightful! The flavors were perfect and nothing was overdressed. The real bonus though was the gluten-free dairy free carrot cake! It was warm and moist and served with coconut ice cream. The waiter then came out and talked us through the entrees, letting us know which ones were celiac friendly for future dining. He went way beyond what was needed.
Excellent place, gluten-free menu and puts a lot of emphasis on taking care of cross contamination. In this branch. The one found in Galería does not have the same care as this branch...

This was an all around great experience! We eat gluten and dairy free even a couple vegan eaters among us and they accommodated our every need. Friendly staff and delicious food! Cleanly as well.
I was looking for a place for my partner where he could have a gluten-free meal as he's a coeliac, and I found this lovely restaurant. We walked over fron our hotel and managed to get a table straight away. The hostess was kind and looked for an English menu straight away. Our waiter spoke English and understood our needs and served us quickly. I ordered the Calamari, which was disappointing. Thinly sliced, which would've been ok if they didn't overcook it. It was tough and chewy, but the sauce that came with it was delicious. My partner ordered the portobello mushrooms gluten-free, and he was a happy bunny. That looked good and delicious and had a lottle taste of it, too. As for my main, I ordered the meatball with pasta, which was tasty. The only thing i wouldxsay they could use a bit more sauce as the meatball is large and very dense. Ournother dish was a salmon with capers, and it was a beautifully cooked salmon, but apparently, the mashed potatoes weren't gluten-free, which we didn't find out until the food was delivered to our table. Overall, it's a good experience considering we don't soeak Spanish, and they really looked after us. Definitely recommend this place to try if you're in the area.
.
Tlaquepaque is not a vegan friendly place, but Casa Luna stepped up to ensure that I had something to eat - tortilla soup - which was delicious. The chips and various salsa options are freely provided at the beginning of the meal and they are delicious. After you are provided with a popsicle (made of water, vegan safe), which was really nice on a hot day.
Gluten free options are plentiful, and the servings are a very good size. The drinks - THE DRINKS - are amazing! Best cocktails yet in Mexico. Service was exceptional and the location and restaurant atmosphere are both really great. There was live music while we were there, four very talented women singing and playing instruments.
Definitely recommend - it’s pricey, but worth it for a really nice meal out.
We had a great dinner. My mum is gluten free and our waiter Enrique was very helpful and could adapt her order. All the food was delicious, especially the tuna!
Love this restaurant. So many options for all kinds of palettes and diets, wether you're vegan, vegetarian, celiac, can't do oil or simply love carbs, I promise there is an option for you ! I definitely suggest this restaurant if you're looking for something Asian and walk away feeling stuffed, portions are huge and everything is always fresh. Service is always super friendly and they will go above and beyond to ensure you get the great service.

One of my top 5 favourite restaurants in PV. Being gluten and dairy free I have so many options. As a matter of fact my wife and I ordered enough food for 6 people so we have left overs for days.
Best tacos ever! Ate there two nights in a row. The freshly made blue corn tacos are remarkable and naturally gluten free. The service was excellent, including catering to my partner's very particular dietary needs. Can be a bit tricky to find, but super worth it!

It's a pretty nice place to dine. Hector's attention was very attentive at all times. Likewise, they know and understand those who have allergies, they got us authentic gluten-free bread.
Food was great, absolutely loved it. The owner was nice to explain to us which meals can be fully Gluten Free, it is a bit away from the strip but price, service are wonderful
