Our server Felix was exceptional. When the chef made an error on our gluten free meal he made sure it was corrected and comped us dessert. Loved the stunning lake and city views and northwest aesthetic.
Omg. First time here and I can't wait to go back. I'm very picky about my Italian, and absolutely loved my food. I had the pesto pasta with shrimp, my girl had the gluten free linguine and drunken clams. Both were fantastic! Got dessert to go. My cheesecake with banana Graham cracker crust was delicious also.
Shimul is an amazing server, always so friendly and attentive every time we come in for dinner. Chutney’s has the best gluten-free options of any Indian restaurant in town and their food is outstanding!!
The atmosphere is excellent. It’s cozy in the winter and has a little outdoor/backyard oasis in the summer. It has cozy seating, a large collection of vintage frog figurines and other critter decorations, gluten-free treats like brownies from Nuflours, and a wide variety of dairy-free/vegan milk options. All the staff are great and the drinks are delicious. It’s the kind of weird & wonderful hole-in-the-wall coffee shop that seems to be getting more rare by the day. They also sell tie dye frog t-shirts for the discerning connoisseur of fashion.
What a GEM of a spot! Each dish and drink I have ordered don’t miss! They have a wonderful selection of ingredients and seasonal recipes, something for everyone! Whether you are dairy or gluten free, veggie or not! Yum yum— I keep going back to see what is new on their menu, if you’re in Fremont you must stop by!
We enjoyed a great breakfast here. We got here around 9:45 on a Saturday right before the rush. Service was great, kept our coffee full and got our food out quickly. We started with the big cinnamon roll quick pretty good. The picture doesn't show it, but there was lots of icing. Huge for two people so we took the rest home for dinner. I had a delicious scramble with goat cheese and smoked salmon. Delicious. My husband has the breakfast burrito which was also good and huge. Definitely a big portion of potatoes. I also got a biscuit which was so good. We took a lot of leftovers for sure, so order wisely as they don't skimp on portions. They looked to have options for gluten free bread. All in all great breakfast and we'd definitely come back. Plenty of street parking around.
Perfect little place for some food and coffee on a weekend morning. Not flashy, but full of flavor and soul. Service is friendly and fast. For gluten free/Celiac folks, they'll make just about anything on the menu with (delicious, slightly crisped) corn tortillas if you ask.
Best pizza in Seattle by far! Gluten-free crust is actually delicious especially with Mediterranean type toppings. Super chill workers who care about pizza done right!
Traditional fast food done well. I love their fried mushrooms. Good French fries. I'm pescatarian with a wheat gluten allergy, so I always get either the garden burger or the fish (fried) sandwich on a gluten-free bun. My spouse likes their burgers and other sandwiches. No bad choices. Great milkshake selection, too, although I never get them for myself.
We love Olympia Pizza! It is our favorite pizza place in Seattle. They are so nice! The pizza is amazing and they offer gluten-free crust and vegan cheese which is really nice and really hard to find. The ambiance is really nice too and it's a good place for a date or a family dinner!
My gluten free tuna melt was DELICIOUS. This is definitely one of my new favorite to-go restaurants in Seattle. Extremely reasonable prices for the quality. They even put goldfish on my Caesar that came with the sandwich :) what a nice surprise! The place was cute and extremely sparkling clean and the dude was super chill, my food was done early and packed super nicely with free condiments. Can’t beat it!
I used to come here a lot and used to love this place. I stopped since they are not allergen friendly and i got really sick. They have gluten free buns and advertise to be gluten friendly, but there is complete lack of care in the kitchen to keep things even semi gluten free. I ordered a gluten free burger (gluten free bun) today and my partner got a regular burger (full gluten bun). I ate half of my burger before I realized my bottom bun was gluten free and the top bun was not, and the regular burger that my boyfriend had my top bun. These accident should never happen. Completely unprofessional. Don’t come here if you are gluten free.
Update. 4 months later i gave them the benefit of doubt after the owners nice reply to my review. I went back and bought a burger. AND THEY SCREWED UP AGAIN!!! I got a gluten free bottom bun, and a regular (gluten full) top bun. The chef needs to be fired. The girl working the register deeply apologized and obviously understood that she should have checked, but i think she went on her break so the timing didnt work out for her to check. It’s definitely not her fault and she had the chef remake it correctly and she remedied the situation. She should probably be the manager because she handled it so well.
Despite her kindness, im still mad. its actually amazing how dumb the chef has to be to screw up this badly and poison anyone with an allergy. And at this point, after these bad experiences, i dont trust that my food does not have significant cross contact with gluten containing ingredients. If you are going to offer gluten free options, do it right. Otherwise, dont do it. The owners can apologize all they want, or offer me free food for the inconvience, but i wouldnt take it because its probably got gluten.
If you are vegitarian? the chef probably would put meat in your burger. Allergic to tomatos? You will probably get 2x the number of tomatoes on your burger. Don’t bother coming here if you have any dietary restrictions whats so ever. Do not give them the benefit of doubt when they apologize.
The salmon salad was good, although they didn't pack utensils, so I was stuck eating salad with my fingers at a park. Would have liked more gluten free options.
We went for Seattle Restaurant Week. It was very good and the server was really nice. We tried all the appetizers, which were all made gluten free. The clams were great. There was one main dish that was gluten free, the risotto and that was light and tasty. The gluten free dessert was an affogato and it was incredible. We also celebrated a birthday and they brought a tiramisu, which was nice. I learned that this location does not offer gluten free pasta, which is a shame. The location in Bellevue does though!
The food was good but not great. The service was very lacking. They also only have 2 gluten-free options, neither of which are mains. This was especially unfortunate because my partner, who has a gluten intolerance, specifically came here because pictures of the menu online indicated lots of gluten-free options, but apparently they have gotten rid of those for some reason. Overall, it was a disappointing experience but I would give them another chance if their service improves and they add more gluten-free options.
