GRÃO FINO * ITAIM BIBI/SP
Grão Fino, a mix of "restaurant and bakery", is a true refuge for those seeking healthy, tasty food and those with dietary restrictions in the heart of the city of São Paulo.
It stands out for being one of the pioneering establishments in offering gluten-free and lactose-free products in the city, which makes it a paradise for celiacs, lactose intolerants and those following specific diets.
Located in Itaim Bibi, Grão Fino surprises with its charming and welcoming atmosphere. Although it is a bakery, it also operates as a café and small restaurant, with different spaces.
There is a counter with benches at the entrance, tables inside and a delightful winter garden in the back, which is pet-friendly. This space is ideal for work meetings, get-togethers with friends and to enjoy a quiet moment with your pet.
The great difference of the place is its elaborate and diverse menu, which proves that functional food can be incredibly tasty. Everything is prepared with fresh, preferably seasonal ingredients, and the restaurant values gluten-free, lactose-free and preservative-free recipes, with several vegan and low-carb options.
Products such as breads, jams, functional pastas, peanut butters, vegan cheeses and granolas can be found at the restaurant.
Grão Fino offers a complete gastronomic experience that pleases all palates, even with dietary restrictions. In fact, it is highly recommended for those seeking a healthy and conscious diet, without sacrificing flavor and variety.
@conceito_deluxo was invited, I had lunch at the restaurant, I really liked it and I recommend it!

Excellent option for those who are lactose and gluten intolerant. We ordered a chocolate cake with strawberries, and in addition to the beautiful decoration, the flavor was excellent!
The service was super attentive and willing to help with delivery times, flavors and available options.
I highly recommend it, the cake was a big hit with the guests!
They advertise everywhere as GLUTEN FREE, but in reality they only use wheat flour. A restaurant of this size and price cannot use this advertising if there is a risk of cross-contamination with gluten! It is too expensive and hyped to have no guarantee of contamination safety. I am sure that the nutrition team will understand this criticism very well and how essential it is for the marketing team to be in tune with this since this also concerns safety. IT IS NOT CASA RAW VEGAN GLUTEN FREE. IT IS CASA RAW VEGAN WITHOUT WHEAT FLOUR. Gluten is a molecule and it is completely nonsensical to advertise it this way and not be. It would be like writing "no shrimp" and having "only the risk of a shrimp broth". People with allergies and celiac disease RUN AWAY. Anyway... it is nonsensical that this is part of the main advertising.
They are not gluten-free! They are not suitable for celiacs, so don't waste your time if you can't eat gluten.
I hope that one day the restaurant will actually consider itself gluten-free and make the information about cross-contamination clearer.
Symbolic note: I didn't eat anything to be able to evaluate.
We like this place so much, I don't even like going there because I'm tempted to eat too much. Everything is delicious, the French bread is exactly the same, and the Parmesan... ahhh, I'm here evaluating it with my mouth watering. They don't open on weekends, but they deliver via Ifood or via WhatsApp. The service is 1000000. 100% safe for celiacs.
I looked for a pleasant environment and food free of gluten, lactose, etc. And I found everything. I had a shrimp risotto which was excellent and a wonderful chocolate cake. I loved the decoration and one or two details that aren't perfect (as a review here says) just give the place more personality. My friends, who ate without restrictions, were also satisfied.
The service is attentive, just needs a little more adjustment.
I will definitely be back.
The variety of options for those who don't eat meat and the signage on the menu is interesting. I ordered the one from the future with gluten-free bread and pineapple juice with lemongrass (divinoooo). I don't give it 5 stars because I've had tastier snacks for less money, but I thought it was a good experience, nice to be able to go with people who eat meat and everyone has options.
The tapioca was great, the waitress was friendly, for a gluten free meal it was quite satisfactory. The only thing I missed was chairs in the restaurant itself.
Terrible. It was a holiday, the store was very quiet, however, everything was bad, the fries arrived a little warm, the burgers were cold, tasteless, and we also had a problem with the gluten-free bread that must have been frozen and they didn't have the decency to heat it up properly. Oh, and by the way, they charged for everything and at 13%. Never again.
Today I went to Rice for the first time, and as a celiac, I must say it was a very good experience.
I got a dish on sale for 51.90. It came with risotto, fries, a steak and a lemonade.
The food was very tasty, and the portions were good.
The food is very good, but I am gluten intolerant, I paid 7 reais more for the bread, only to get home and realize that they gave me the wrong bread. I felt very, very sick!

The pasta was perfect and it was amazing to know that there was a gluten-free pasta option......... however I felt a little pressured by the waiter to choose the dish quickly...... lunch time and I think he was in a hurry......but otherwise it's a wonderful cantina
Very beautiful and comfortable atmosphere, very careful service, well presented dishes made with great quality and flavor. I am celiac and was very well taken care of with my gluten restriction. I recommend!
Many options to create your poke as you like and how hungry you are. Healthy food at an affordable price. The ingredients are always fresh and tasty.
There are gluten-free options for those with celiac disease.
This Pad Thai is divine!!!! What an explosion of flavor!!! It has vegan and vegetarian options! The noodles are made from arrpz and gluten-free!! The chili was incredible!!! The tangerine tea is delicious too! The waitress was very attentive in the service and explanation of the dishes.
Urbã must be my favorite vegan restaurant in São Paulo. Whenever I can, I escape to Barra Funda and go there for lunch: they only open the salon from 12pm to 3pm
The prices are very good: with R$60 (05/2023) you have a complete meal with one of the various drink options, starter, smaller portion of the main dish (the smallest is already large!!) and some divine dessert.
An interesting thing is that the meals vary every day, you always eat something different and it's always a surprise, and on the weekend there's always a different dessert in addition to the fixed fudge (R$15/R$17).
Gluten-free options are also present every day!
Visit, it's really worth it!
Very nice place. The lighting is perfect, it has very good acoustic treatment. The wine list is good. The food was perfect. I tried Penne Al Carciofini, Pomodori Secchi and Rucola which is a pasta made without gluten and this dish does not contain lactose and I recommend it for celiac patients who want to eat good pasta safely.
The service is excellent. Very attentive waiters and maître d' with great knowledge of everything that is served. I come back and recommend it.
Very comfortable, including the pet-friendly area.
Very attentive and efficient service, with Vicente's service being a highlight.
Great value for money and gluten-free options (pasta). I recommend it and we'll be back!
It's just another suggestion, which would perhaps help the marketing team a lot with planning for the month.
The restaurant is great, but it is not inclusive for those who have problems with gluten and lactose. Honestly, gluten-free pasta is bad.
Honestly, nowadays what's hot is health and well-being, everyone I know is aware that they have X, Y and Z problems. When someone who is intolerant to something finds a good restaurant that has food for them, they practically Just go to that restaurant and spend whatever you want on it, because a good restaurant for celiacs, especially Italian, is a rare find. They are losing a lot of sales by not including specific dishes for this type of "problem". Adjusting to the times is the future, it's no wonder that Casas Bahia changed its character.

The facade is simple, modest, but arouses curiosity to the attentive eye. As we were a bit aimless in SP and staying across the street, we decided to research the place and decided to try it out. I went to celebrate my wedding anniversary with my husband. We went for lunch, we made a reservation 1 day in advance. We sat at the counter and opted for the tasting menu. I recommend going in good time, as we stayed at the place from the time it opened until they closed, eating. We watched the sushi chefs prepare the cold dishes while we asked them about it. After eating at this restaurant, you will never want to eat any salmon wrapped in rice again. Their quality is surprising, it lives up to the price, it was like eating in Japan. The sashimi I liked most was horse mackerel. The restaurant works with seasonal and fresh ingredients: depending on the time of year, there won't be octopus, for example. The wasabi is fresh, and there is gluten-free soy sauce. We ordered tea to go with it, which was being replenished all the time. The dessert was excellent. There is underground parking on site. I will definitely be back to try other things!
Terrible experience. I ordered the sandwich through Ifood, which contacted the store that confirmed the order. Two hours later I received the information that the store was CLOSED. Total disrespect to the customer. The life of a celiac is already difficult and those who claim to serve this segment still do this disservice. Regrettable.
