Newly diagnosed celiac here. Came for the "Real Cheeseburger" on a gluten free bun and it it was one of the best burgers I've ever had. Will definitely return. The staff were knowledgeable and assured me my food would be celiac safe. When it arrived to the table, we were asked first where the gluten free burger went. The sodas were good and fries very delicious!
What a treat to have vegetarian and gluten free! The food was delicious! And the agua fresca was sweet and refreshing. There were so many yummy sounding choices it was hard to pick, I’ll have to come back.
We absolutely love this restaurant and eat there at least once a month.
One of the big draws from me ore. Originally, choosing this restaurant was the delicious gluten-free menu. Any authentic food.
We had an amazing experience on Wed, 3/19/25, with server Max. It did take a bit of time to get items, like the table side guacamole. Our cart sat while he attended other tables before he made our guac. I asked if the tortilla chips were fried in a seperate or shared fryer. He immediately asked "do you have Celiac?". I do & he made sure everything was safe for me. I really appreciated that, I never felt like I was a bother because of my Celiac. The food & drinks were delicious, though on the pricier side. Max was very personable, he made the experience so great.
We waited 45min for party of 4 to actually be sat inside for walk-in even though requested outside seating. Had to ask for server to order food cause we may have been forgotten. Food was good although gluten tortillas debatable. Recommend if you can sit outside
I asked the waiter if they had a gluten free menu. He was kind to get me a menu. After I gave my order, I had a gentleman come to talk to me about my order. He wanted to make sure my order was properly taken care of. He was going to make sure the cooks changed their gloves. The service I received was above and beyond.
This is an excellent restaurant. My wife cannot have gluten, and they serve great gluten-free options. My favorite is the chicken quesadilla with corn tortillas or the 1lb grilled chicken platter for 2. Delicious, and I am looking forward to going again.
Food was better than average, not great. Plenty of Gluten-free options. So loud I could barely hear the waitress (large open space). If like trendy and drink, then this is a good place.
They have a gluten free menu you just have to ask! Most sides can be gluten free, just make sure to specify an allergy—ask for corn tortillas and no chips(shared fryer). I am extremely symptomatic and have had no issues here. Brushfire is my fave with poblano ranch!
It was my first time visiting here and the food was excellent. I eat gluten-free & had the nachos and it was delicious. The starters were very helpful, friendly, & knowledgeable. I'll definitely try to be back.
12 and under free to eat is truly a blessing, and they were open on mothers day! The people that worked there were very kind. There are gluten free options on the menu, so my Vegan mother really enjoyed her own meal. Very lovely place to go.
This place has a gluten-free bun but it has egg whites in it. I got the Al pastor burger. It was delicious. The cheese was a bit strong for my taste, although my girlfriend would have loved it. Overall it was excellent. Definitely try the house margarita 💀
This is THE PLACE 👏🏼👏🏼 Everytime we are near a VT, it's time to make a stop. The Brisket Nachos (with extra brisket) are my gluten-friendly go to, along with either the curry cheese dip or the elotes. Delicious across the board with a wide variety of options to satisfy any favor combination you could ask for. I also love that they can be fairly accommodating by altering some dishes to be GF.
Good quality food with a variety of ethnic mixups to the taco. Food tasted fresh and the staff were friendly, just a bit costly ($5 a taco)
There is a lot of gluten free options too.
Love this place! Food is great, love the ambiance, and they have always been polite and as accommodating as possible about my food allergies (Celiac disease/Gluten)
Great food, quick service. Always a wait for a table more than 2 people. Nice bar waiting area. Varied menu with gluten-free offerings. Colorful decor sitting inside an old western town with a nice fountain at the entrance. Coming here again in my next trip through San Antonio!
A quick stop for quality, traditional Mexican food. The flavors and service are always solid. Gluten Free options, but if you have Celiac cross-contact concerns, take all usual care & precautions. I've not had a reaction.
What a unique spot!! The smells and beautiful pastries that greet you when you open the door are such a treat!! Unfortunately- no gf options and cross contamination would be an issue. But everyone who can eat gluten said their pastries were the best! Coffee was super good.
The food was okay and I am super grateful for vegan and gluten free places because I can’t eat out without them. I however think they charged way too much for what we got and it should have had more veggies on the tacos at least cilantro tomato spinach. There was none on mine. I was not highly impressed especially for what I paid for 2 people spent $80 with tip! I didn’t take pictures but I should have
Jerry was our waiter. He did an excellent job of knowing the food items and prices, even those not on the menu (a la carte). And he could manage time among several tables. He was very professional and energetic.
One in our group was gluten intolerant and he was confident which plates this person could order.
My husband and I ate here for our 15 yr anniversary. We both had steak. Our steaks were cooked to perfection. Juicy and delicious. We both had the red potatoes and veggies. Everything was great. My husband had the ice cream dessert and I had the key lime. Both were mouth watering. I have a gluten sensitivity and the waitress was very helpful with those modifications. I drank a prickly pear margarita and it was delicious. 100% recommend!
#1 taco truck! MISS tacos! are the best in customer service and taste.
They even offer gluten free corn tortillas which are my favorite. We eat there about 3 to 4 times a week. Highly recommend!

Wonderful dinner at Ostra on the Riverwalk. Great location with wonderful and attentive staff, Jorge was a great server- 5 stars from me! I had the mahi mahi, delish! Gluten free options suited my needs as well as other good vegetarian/DF/GF options.
Great food, quick a d friendly service. The tacos are great. My husband who has celiacs can eat here without worring about getting "glutened". Awesome breakfast plates for the kids with pancakes and sausage/bacon, eggs, etc.

Husband came home w these & I was a happy wife. Mini tacos are a new favorite since finding my gluten sensitivities to be an issue & this food was packed w flavor! Forgot to talk about the flashbacks to my childhood those charro beans gave me. My Grandma would have gave them a thumbs up!!Also this hibiscus drink my hub brought me felt like a sip of summer in a cup!
An incredible place, the food is delicious and prepared with a lot of love, I personally recommend the entire menu but my favorite dishes are the chicken with mushrooms if you like food with a creamy texture it is perfect or a Salvadoran style roast beef with the delicious chimichurri with Gloria's recipe.
All the service will always be the best to give you the best experience, the drinks at the bar are delicious, I recommend them all but in particular the “Gloria's top shelf” and the “Passion fruit” both margaritas, the entire selection of tequilas for The daisies are of very good quality, obviously designed for customers.
As a former employee, I can assure you that with every visit to this place you will have a good time, whether on any day of the week or if you visit for the famous “Salsa night.” If you like music and Latin rhythms, you will love it. You're going to love spending your Saturday night at Gloria's.
They also have menus: gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan, apart from the fact that brunch is served on Saturdays and Sundays.
Wonderful and thoughtful service. Food is great, and the salsa is unique with a hint of smokey flavor.
On thoughtful service, I have a gluten allergy, and they were happy to accommodate it. They swapped out the flour tortillas for corn and cleaned the grill before preparing my meal. I told the bartender up front, and she communicated my needs to the kitchen. I was very glad with the level of service I received and the accommodations for my allergy.
One note, you need to order at the bar even if you're sitting at a table.
They had Siete gluten free tortillas for a little bit and that was amazing! Those, combined with the cauliflower rice and other veggies made my day! I was sad to learn that the San Antonio locations were not going to keep them. I will still go, but will likely get a salad instead.
Right on the Riverwalk, gluten friendly options, the BEST queso I’ve ever had with great service and a seat right near the River. We really enjoyed our meal!
Delia’s was highly recommended so we went after church on Sunday and couldn’t believe the drive thru line and the long line outside to get in. Tamales were good and gluten free which were a PLUS PLUS. Thank You!
We spent 1 day in San Antonio and searched online for somewhere for dinner. This place was such a good find. Staff were excellent, food was amazing and great value for money. Frozen margaritas were the best! They were also able to cater for a gluten free diner (they could substitute many dishes with corn tacos).
