Nice burger place, clean and fast. They even have a gluten-free bunâŠ
However the staff wouldnât toast or assemble it upon request. I told them it wasnât an allergy concern but they still refused so the burger was quite dry and gritty :(
Beautiful building and location, pleasant staff, however, sad execution of poor quality food.
Visited Friday 7:30 with an online reservation. Totally packed parking lot, yet strangely quiet and almost empty restaurant. We asked the hostess and were told they have a large banquet hall attached and there was an event.
We were taking a friend out for dinner who moved to Twin Falls recently for work. All of our party are from the east coast, and are first time visitors to this beautiful state.
Lovely interior, spacious with a lofty beamed ceiling, glass walls overlooking the spectacular canyon. Friendly, pleasant staff.
The menu was varied and interesting, and we each found many dishes tempting. We started with drinks, a cocktail and 2 different beers. One beer was presented in the bottle, we had to ask for a glass.
For an appetizer, we ordered the:
âCRISPY BRUSSEL SPROUTS Â $14
Flash-fried brussel sprouts and bacon bits, tossed in a maple bacon vinaigrette and topped with shaved Romano cheese.â
They were almost inedible. So greasy, drowning in grease and vinaigrette and almost cold. The bacon was too salty, too smokey and overpowering, not a good choice. Our guest had never eaten Brussel sprouts before, so we told him to give them another try elsewhere, not to judge them all by this terrible concoction.
For entrees, our guest chose:
AHI TUNA Â $28
Eight-ounce Ahi Tuna, rolled in a savory sesame seed crust, pan-seared to rare, and laid over a bed of white rice. Served with wasabi, ginger soy, and pickled sushi ginger.
He didnât say much about his meal, but he liked it ok. He gave us each a slice of ahi, and we both agree that it tasted bad. Not fresh, and seasoned strangely.
My spouse had a ribeye:
RIBEYE STEAK Â $38
Grilled 14oz Prime Ribeye steak topped with beef demi-glace sauce.
since the prime-rib had sold out. It was not hot and not very tasty or tender, even though it wad ordered medium rare. I ordered the kale salad, but swapped out the kale for arugula.
*CRUNCHY KALE SALAD
A vibrant mix of fresh kale, sweet-tart pickled cranberries, Granny Smith apples, roasted pistachios, and crunchy toasted quinoa. All hand-tossed in a Citrus Honey Sage vinaigrette and topped with shaved Parmesan cheese.
The arugula was fresh, but the rest was unpleasant. Sour dressing and pickled cranberries are not s good idea. The pistachios were small and whole and stayed on the bottom. Difficult to eat with the other ingredients. Overall, sour cranberries, sour dressing, and sour apples - just why?
I had the poke bowl.
AHI POKĂ BOWL Â $18
Four-ounce Ahi Tuna cubed, marinated in a gluten-free soy-sesame sauce, and laid over a bed of seaweed salad. Topped with fresh green onions and spicy mayo.
Itâs tough to make a bad poke bowl, but Redhawk succeeded. Similar to the Brussel sprouts, the chef struck again with the swimming in sauces treatment. The tuna MAY have been okay, but the soy sauce tasted bad, so I couldnât tell. To make it even worse, they squirt-slathered so much mayonnaise ALL over it, I could not eat it. Even the spicy mayo tasted bad. I had my others taste my food, and everyone agreed it was bad.
Luckily, I had ordered a baked potato with butter only, which was superb. It was my first Idaho spud and it was tender and creamy inside. I took the butter off of it, ax there was way too much. It was unsalted butter, btw - an odd choice, too. I wanted to taste the potato as I had been looking forward to trying the famous item. It was the first and only thing at Redhawk that did not disappoint me!
Maybe the kitchen was slammed due to the large event? That shouldnât be the customerâs problem.
To summarize, nice looking place, okay atmosphere, pleasant staff, but crummy food. And letâs face it, that should be job one.
I have celiacs and let them know I needed gluten free. They brought a manager to my table to explain my options. This is highly unlikely for any restaurant Iâve been to and I canât say enough how appreciative I am to the attention to detail they provided.
We enjoyed a delicious meal but what made it extra special is the service we got from Makaela. She was so accommodating for my gluten sensitivity and gave us just the right amount of attention. Exceptional!
Lovely girl helped me out and fixed me up with the What-a-nut crepe but the best part is they had a GLUTEN FREE OPTION! Thank you for offering GF crepes. You donât see that very often! It was delicious.

There are a lot of options for food, but if you have celiac disease beware! The food is all fried in one fryer, so the fries are not gluten free. There may be other options but make sure to check with your server. No options for vegan and gluten free diets combined.
We had an awesome experience here. I'm not sure what the mangers name was but she was so sweet to our little girl. Our daughter was recently diagnosed with celiac disease so it's difficult to eat out. The manager went above any beyond to take care of our little one.
Get sick from cross contamination. I have gluten issues and every time I order the same meal at every Dennys we eat at. The one here in Twin Falls is the only I seem to get sick at.
Went on my early valentines date so it wouldnât be a crazy madhouse to get in. Got a server named Jesse. He was great. Gluten free menu is really big honestly and they have a gluten free desert. I cannot even describe how delicious it was. I havenât been to an outback in like 15 years after a bad experience in another town. But Iâm glad my date chose Outback.
I was beyond amazed with the food!! Being a person with food/ gluten sensitivities they sure killed it!! I can't wait to go back and celebrate yet another anniversary there đ
Because I have to eat gluten-free, I always have to get the burgers without the bun. The person at the drive thru said it wasn't right for me to pay full price just because I can't have the bun. So they charged me less. Awesome Awesome awesome. Thank you again.

Katie - not great - treated us like an inconvenience. My wife has celiac disease. Normally, they do great. Katie brought out our plates. My wife's bun looked burnt and deeply grilled. Like the grill marks were deep into the bun. We asked if it could be remade, and she seemed annoyed at our concern for cross contamination. We know the dish wasn't her fault. She rolled her eyes at us when we asked for our free dessert that kids get after 11.
Shannon - Super sweet, not an inconvenience, not even her table, and she went above and beyond. We normally have a pretty good experience, and Shannon really made it great. She is the reason we have such a high review this time. If it was just Katie and our first time, we would never go back and would tell others not to go either.
