Had high hopes for Sebastien Sans Gluten after hearing great things, but my visit on 7/6/25 was pretty underwhelming.
I picked up a meat pie, sausage roll, cheese pastry, and a loaf of bread. The cheese pastry was alright, but the rest were a letdown.
Bread: Really undercooked in the middle – sticky and doughy – with a super hard crust. It was hard to even slice, and you could see the sticky dough clinging to the knife and edges.
Pie & Sausage Roll: Both had undercooked pastry. The pie filling was decent, but the sausage roll was odd – strange texture, not much flavour except fennel, and just not enjoyable.
Altogether it came to just over $50, which felt steep for the quality. Left pretty disappointed and won’t be going back.
My wife is a celiac and it’s not easy to find places who actually do o accomodate and do it well.
The place is low key but the food is premium quality at great prices!!
Well done!!
Love love this place! I have celiac disease and the staff was super knowledgeable about celiac and eating gluten free! The gluten free pizza and pastas were amazing!!! Will definitely be back
good sandwiches options!
Staff nice and explain everything about the gluten options and if I can or cannot eat there.
FYI: The gluten free bread is different,(looks like the bread for toast) still good!
For sure worth try it ☺️
I really enjoyed this restaurant! I highly recommend the garlic naan and the tamarind coconut curry. Situated in a lovely street with what looks to be terrace houses converted into restaurants, the Twisted Indian was a very atmospheric place to be. The staff were attentive and the food was excellent. Lots of gluten free and vegetarian options. I also appreciated the large selection of drinks available, including lots of creative cocktails and a fair few varieties of lassi!
Embrace Greek food and culture at Koutouki in Leichardt. Mezze and music is the tag line for Koutouki, a traditional Greek restaurant in Leichardt. As soon as you enter the restaurant, you recognise it’s a traditional spot with the décor and art on the walls. Staff are friendly and welcoming and showcase that Greek generosity of spirit. We are seated fast, and it’s all set up nicely for our friends birthday, where we’re having a set menu.
The food transports you back to Greece, and it’s to be shared amongst your friends. It is good to note that 90% is Gluten Free. We share a range of mezze between the table; beginning with a Greek Salad (tomatoes, cucumber, olives, onion and feta), followed by the trio of dips; tarama, tzatziki, spicy fetta and eggplant, served with pita bread.
The entrées were sized pieces of beautifully cooked haloumi, spanakopita, and pita, fried calamari – so beautiful, as well as the grilled octopus with oregano, olive oil and lime, and prawn skewers.
To share were giant mixed grill platters of lamb, pork, sausage, all sitting on a plate of moreish oregano seasoned fries. Dessert was the famous baklava, or filo pastry, with walnuts and syrup. This was a lot of food and we were so full by the end of the meal and enjoyed it so much.
They are fully licensed and wines are imported and can be purchased via the glass or bottle.
There’s entertainment too. You’ll find it to be a musical journey with live music in the front room, allowing for diners to enjoy whilst they have their meal. For our event, the attendees even had a bit of a dance. Sit back and enjoy your meal whilst being entertained.
We were a group of 6 celebrating a birthday and chose to visit here for the first time. The night started well with Michael, the owner, warmly welcoming us to his restaurant. I personally will only eat wood fired pizzas and can be rather judgemental. The ones we ordered were sensational, up there with some of the best I have ever eaten. One of our party loves pizza but is gluten intolerant. Her experiences with gluten free pizzas has been pretty average up until now. This restaurants were fantastic. She was so happy. We then had various pasta dishes - everyone loved each and every one of them. We finished off with tiramisu which was simply sublime. The owner organised a panna cotta with a candle for the birthday boy, with the staff singing Happy Birthday to him. The service was great considering how busy they were when we first arrived. Overall we had a fantastic night. Thank you to Michael and his staff - including the chefs - for making it so memorable. If you're looking for homely traditional Italian food you should really give this place a try
We met some friends here for dinner one of whom is coeliac and also allergic to eggs. We noted this when booking. When we arrived the staff provided a hand written note which listed all of the menu items they could provide for her - including GF pasta (which is unusual). Fabulous.
Much better service than you expect in a pub. Exceeded expectations. All of the other meals were great too.
Had lunch with kids and service was swift and they were accommodating to gluten free. I didn't get to 5 stars on food as sashimi plate wasn't top quality.

Absolutely delicious pizza and pasta. Everything tastes so fresh and full of flavor. The most light perfect pizza crust. Great gluten free spaghetti as well!
