Food so good, you don’t take pictures. We booked Yulli’s as a get together with friends. One friend is a vegan celiac. We ordered the banquet. We can never do that as we are always worried about food allergies. The food was delicious and filling. I am not vegan. Just enjoy a good meal. Service was fantastic. They accommodated our late arrival and let us stay longer. They rushed us out but were within their right but were so graceful about it. I booked via a booking app. I added to the booking it was a birthday. Without prompted they brought out a candle on dessert. This small token and what can be seen as a minor detail was well received and a testament to the beautiful atmosphere they have created. If you made it this far. The TL:DR is this place is a must go and I will return.

Amazing dinner date had here! Wide variety of options, great quality food and flavours. Very knowledgeable with coeliacs, gluten free and cross contamination. Ate there with no worries due to the zero risk of cross contamination in their fryers and kitchen.

Just post up here each day of your stay and rotate through the wide-ranging, exceptionally balanced menu of thoughtfully crafted meals and dream-worthy desserts. My personal favorites: the rose and pistachio cupcake, the vegan Thai beef salad, and the “Gimme That” protein shake — but truly, I tried nearly everything on the menu and was impressed across the board. The staff is warm, the vibe is relaxed, and there’s both indoor and outdoor seating with WiFi. Bonus: they’ve got a great little deli section with frozen vegan staples and pantry finds to stock up on.

I tried the gluten free capricciosa pizza. Well-made dough, just the right amount of crunch. Very tasty and abundant ingredients. Definitely a quality Italian product here in Sydney. Silvio, the owner, very kind and friendly. The wine was also excellent! 🤙🏻 Very welcoming place. Recommended.

I went to dinner with 3 friends and it was a wonderful experience. Atmosphere is really nice with seating both downstairs and upstairs and is very welcoming. Menu is extensive and has vegetarian, dairy free, nut free and gluten free options so really something for anyone with a restriction! Staff were very attentive and service was wonderful.

Quite delicious. If you get the set menu, portions seem a bit small at first but by the end, you’re stuffed. Nothing super ground breaking, just modern Middle Eastern fusion done well and presented beautifully. Sat outside and the bar table is a bit unstable, plus the ground is sloped. A bit awkward to deal with but not terrible. Plenty of gluten free options and well communicated. Nothing that stood out as a must have again but still a solid choice for an upmarket meal out.

I’m a coeliac, and I absolutely love this spot! Staff are so friendly and knowledgeable of coeliac disease and gluten free, I feel very comfortable eating here. Eating out can often be so isolating when you have a dietary requirement, and you’re often confined to just getting a drink, or something really plain, but not at Four Ate Five! The menu isn’t clearly labelled with allergens, however upon speaking with staff, many of the options are gluten free or can be made gluten free. I ordered the Shakshuka and advised I was coeliac, and staff confirmed they could make it gluten free by swapping out the gluten bread side for gluten free bread, and would take extra measures to reduce cross contamination with the toaster. Obviously there is still an element of risk as a coeliac, as it’s not an entirely gluten free kitchen, but I feel fine each time, and confident in the staff and kitchen. The juices are also delicious and freshly squeezed. I absolutely love this spot, and will continue to take visiting family, friends and loved ones here, to enjoy an amazing meal together.

Came here for lunch recently and enjoyed it. The pizza was tasty, but the tomato sauce was really watery and had almost zero flavour. The toppings were tasty though. The gluten free base was also very good.

We were looked after by the wonderful Francis, who brought the whole experience together with his deep knowledge of the menu and wine pairings. He took the time to ask insightful questions about our preferences and made thoughtful recommendations that hit the mark. His attentiveness—especially toward my partner’s gluten intolerance—was both considerate and seamless. I can’t recommend Shaffa highly enough for your next meal out. You’ll be in for a memorable, delicious experience from start to finish.

We celebrated a birthday at The Winery for one of their Sip & Slay brunches. The food was amazing with generous portions. Our various dietary needs were taken care of seamlessly with delicious gluten and dairy free alternatives provided. The service was exceptional from the moment we arrived - with a shout out to the lovely Eva! The drag show was spectacular! Fun, entertaining and brilliantly naughty. Highly recommend!

I went for mother's day, and I am in a family with 3 coeliacs and 1 nut allergy. Armorica staff was so accommodating. They have a separate fryer (yes, you can enjoy the fries) and service was perfect! We ordered the market fish tartare, all three fish options, the sirloin and pretty much every side dish on the menu. Everything was very well balanced. Overall a pleasant experience and I would 100% come back to try some of their other things.

We recently celebrated my husband’s birthday at Lil Darlin’ in Surry Hills, and it was absolutely perfect! We booked a group for their bottomless brunch and were blown away by the entire experience. The food was incredible – everything was fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. We had two coeliac guests in our group, and the staff went above and beyond to provide a dedicated gluten-free menu with plenty of safe and tasty options. It made such a difference and was genuinely appreciated! The cocktails were sensational – creative, well-balanced, and kept flowing throughout the brunch. For $89–$99 per person, it was incredibly good value and reasonably priced for the quality and amount of food and drinks provided. The vibe of the place is fun and relaxed, perfect for a celebration. We’re already planning our next visit. If you're looking for great food, amazing drinks, and top-notch service, Lil Darlin’ is the place to be. Highly recommend!

We dined at Cicerone last night as a group of seven, including one friend with coeliac disease. While the food itself was enjoyable, the overall experience was disappointing- especially in terms of accommodating dietary requirements. When booking over the phone, I specifically mentioned that we had a coeliac in our group. The restaurant informed me that they only offer gluten-free pasta, which was fine, but they failed to mention that she would still be required to pay the full $69 feast menu price, even though all she could eat was a single bowl of pasta. Due to our group size, we were required to do the feast menu. However, when we arrived, we asked if our coeliac friend could order separately from the à la carte menu while the rest of us had the feast, but this was refused. When we raised our concerns with the waiter, the manager came over, but rather than being understanding, they were quite rude and dismissive. While the food was nice, the lack of flexibility and poor customer service left a bad impression. I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant for groups, especially if anyone in your party has dietary restrictions.

We loved this place. Good vibe and a sense of the food being made with love and quality ingredients. Service was fresh and friendly. Mr S thought his eggs Benedict was top notch and I really enjoyed my dish - with very nice gluten free bread.

I was very disappointed with the service. I clearly informed the waitress that I am coeliac, but they repeatedly overlooked my dietary restrictions. They initially brought out a dish with croutons, and when I asked if it was gluten-free, they seemed confused and said mine was still coming—clearly indicating they had forgotten about my allergy. It then took another 10 minutes to receive my meal, and unfortunately, I became sick after eating. Given the lack of care and attention to serious dietary needs, I won’t be returning.
