Excellent place for gluten free eating. Quite unique in that they offer sweets, made to order light lunches, and take-home meals, entirely gluten free and top quality. Reasonably priced. Lovely service, they were very patient about the boisterous child we had with us (sorry, and thank you).
Beautiful place, fantastic atmosphere. The food was sensational - as a ceoliac the gluten free food was fantastic (Pasta was incredible) was the perfect date night!
Angelo really made the night- what great service. Cannot fault our experience. Will be back again.
The cocktails hit the spot
Best burgers we've had in Australia Moreover which is even more impressive is that they do delicious gluten-free burgers and other foods. Definitely worth a visit if your coeliac or want gluten free foods
Food was excellent and big servings!
Need to book so you can choose your seat.
We ordered FULL GREEK which is 65PP!
However, I am lactose intolerant and needed to be gluten free. The restaurant has adjusted some of the food for me which I really appreciate!
There has been some delays with the servers which maybe due to a lot of customers dining in. That’s why I rated 4. Which I must say can be improved.
Atmosphere is also 4 coz the seats are too close to each other and its difficult when you stand up without bothering other people. It’s just feedback that can still be improved.
Overall, the food is great and we enjoyed a lot. Hope to be back here soon!
Our party of 4 had a terrific experience at Yoko at an early Saturday evening sitting. Our waitress was excellent, and even remembered that we had visited a year ago. The food was so very very delicious, and an extra bonus that almost everything was able to be made gluten free for the 2 celiacs in our party. My mum even got a happy birthday song and a cheesecake with a candle! It really was a special evening and we loved it all. Thank you, we will visit again.
The food was delicious, and the serves very attentive. Enjoyed a delightful cocktail, the place settings lovely. However for my fellow coeliacs, the attention to substitution was poor and I was charged in addition to the banquet cost for my gf bread.
Vege Rama food is always fresh and delicious. As a coeliac I greatly appreciated the coeliac friendly gluten free options they have available, and the helpfulness of the staff in identifying and labelling coeliac friendly GF and non-coeliac friendly GF. The masala dosa, moussaka, and salads are a must.
Bun was cold, chicken tasted like nothing and almost threw up afterwards.
My friend has a gluten intolerance and advised the cashier to tell the cook to take care about the intolerance, but his stomach went crazy afterwards, so there must have been tracks of gluten in his food.
Booked for high tea. My daughter has coeliac disease so has to be gluten free. Sadly very disappointed with the GF offering having read a great review (admittedly from a few years ago)
The lack of imagination and quality and quantity of the food was definitely not worth the price. The non -gluten free food was also served on the plate above the GF food, massively increasing the risk of cross-contamination.
Really lovely setting on the river however
Absolutely amazing experience! Came here for my birthday and was not disappointed. Amazing and delicious food! Had the gluten free wagyu burger and chips and the gluten free vegetable dumplings, the only problem I had with the dumplings where that there wasn't enough. They are so damn good! The cocktail menu is to die for. The fairy godmother cocktail is my new favourite! Will 100% be coming back.
Ava is wonderful - the most talented waitress I have ever met worldwide. She deserves your loyalty, please don’t lose her!! She made ordering drinks and food (especially catering for 1 of 4 in our party GF and DF) simple and enjoyable, so we could all enjoy a banquet of choices. Most welcomed I have ever felt in a restaurant being a Coeliac. Best food in Brisbane, drinks on the expensive side (our most frequented restaurants are the AnyDay Group around James Street. We have a new fav & will be back. Often.
Asked for the vegan option and received a very bland gluten free penne pasta. Not what I ordered. Gluten free has nothing to do with vegan. They offered to make what I did order but it would have taken too long. They did offer a complimentary beer (I don’t drink beer) or dessert (no vegan option on the menu). They then said they would try and take our drinks off the bill but when we went pay, the person who had offered that was nowhere to be seen. It’s a cute venue but there has to be better options and staff who listen to your order and understand what that meanss.
We had a fabulous family dinner at Madame Wu on new years day. Maddie was our waitress and she was absolutely fabulous. Maddie helped us choose meals to share that were coeliac safe. We had specifically travelled to Madame Wu for the Gluten Free options, which we were delighted to find were extensive. They even have a separate Gluten Free menu. The food was exceptional, the service outstanding, and the location was a delight. We watched the storey bridge change colours and river cats pass by as we dined. Our family highly recommend Madame Wu for a safe coeliac dining experience. What a wonderful evening. Thanks Maddie!
We had lunch here. I tried the pad thai vegetables and tofu, which tasted good and had just the right portion size for me. The items are priced reasonably. They offer vegan as well as gluten-free options here.
The service is good and it didn't take too long for the food to reach the table.
The atmosphere of the restaurant is inviting. I would definitely recommend this place.
The Food was great, delicious tacos!
I appreciate all the gluten free options.
We attended as a table of 16 and unfortunately over the 3hrs no one cleared a single plate until the last 10minutes. I understand the place was busy but to sit with our plates while we’re still ordering expensive cocktails was disappointing.
Also, 1 toilet for a place that holds way over 100 people must be criminal. I understand that is the building setup but lining up in the rain behind drunk young people for 1 toilet is the pure reason I will not be going back.
$13 schooner of beer also doesn’t help..
Used to love and be my favourite place for many years. But the food recently is not the same quality and standard as it once was with Modern Australian standard now it's all just shoved together also quality staff members have no idea too about service at all. For the prices you need quality staff trained in hospitality and fine dining- they could not even speak English properly. The ex manager was Italian but she was great and knew what to do and had great public relations!
The menu has changed to alot of pasta and lasagne which isn't what this place originally was it was more unique and had exotic vegetables and lentils with creative twists plenty of gluten free options too.
Sad to say I thought this place changed hands as it's nothing what it was like only a year or 2 ago. Very disappointing. So sad to see my favourite restaurant go down hill.
The food is delicious, hard to find gluten free toasties, let alone some that are delicious. Customer service is amazing, Adri knows what I’ll order and adds that personal touch. Always so friendly and welcoming.
A fantastic spot for Italian food! Their pizzas and pastas are amazing, and the interior decor is stunning and comfortable. They even cater for gluten free. Highly recommend!
Our table took in a beautiful view of the river and Storey Bridge, The restaurant is both elegant and unpretentious.
Service was warm, welcoming and impeccable. Superstar Chef Suwisa and her team produce food which is delicious, and beautifully presented.
Also a fabulous and reasonably priced wine list, with the support of Sommelier Steven you’ll find the perfect wine to accompany your meal. We opted for a 7course degustation - I am coeliac and it was no problem at all. My partner and I were able to enjoy the same dishes.
Hard to pick a favourite but the chicken wrapped in prosciutto was outstanding!
We absolutely loved it and look forward to our next visits!! Thank you to Manager G, sommelier Steven, our server Kate and of course SuperChef Suwisa. Andy Baturo and team congratulations on another winning restaurant 🥂

We had the pronto banquet which was 9 courses for $54 and it was very good. Good service, beautiful location right on the river. Thoughtful staff and they were able to accommodate a gluten free diet for every course.
Food came extremely fast which was a great change from half a year ago when it came really late/slowly. Service is super friendly and everyone is very helpful. Special requests are welcome for example if you need gluten free food. Sadly all burgers came fairly burned. We joked it's flame grilled but honestly it was burned but since we were hungry we ate it anyway. Other dishes were good and nothing else was burned.
I loved the ambiance and the friendliness of the staff. We were there for breakfast, and our server was very pleasant and engaging. The seating included multiple couches, which made the place feel cozy and inviting. I had the mushroom toast on a gluten-free alternative. Unfortunately, the bread tasted old and stale, which was disappointing. However, I believe this was an isolated incident, as everything else was delicious—especially the matcha.
The service was prompt and friendly. The space is a bit damp and gloomy in winter but that's to be expected. The problem with that is that by the time the food arrived, it was cold. The scrambled eggs were silky, but the poached eggs were cold, and on cold stale gluten free bread that was hard to cut. Coffee was amazing, and the smoothies were delicious!
We were pleasantly surprised to get a table with a walk in. Albeit, it was 5:30 on a Tuesday. But the place filled up quickly. The service staff were incredibly friendly and very professional. The food is well presented and delicious. There were plenty of Gluten Free options and if the staff weren't sure, they were very happy to ask the kitchen. The creme brulee is highly recommended.
Beautiful delicious food and great service. Was a little concerned about how much food would be served as we had the Chef's Tasting menu. However, we shouldn't have been. There was plenty of food for everyone and they were able to accommodate those in our group with lactose and gluten allergies. Highly recommend that you try Blackfire, we will certainly be back.
Nice place to sit & enjoy the gardens. There are seats outside under the umbrellas & some under cover. Coffee is good nicely presented had good strength I really didn't need to order my usual double shot as it would have been adequate with standard serve in small cup. Gluten free muffin was tasty.
*celiacs* 3 nights of dining 3 excellent meals. Staff and chefs were excellent and very helpful with my dietary requirements. Quality, portions and service were excellent thank you
Well priced for the quality and portion of food, large selection of drink options, nice atmosphere and service.
Good spot for a weekday lunch, huge range of gluten free options as well :)

What a fabulous way to spend a Sunday! Can't fault the bottomless brunch, the food and drinks were fabulous 😋 Amazing views and awesome service! So good we spent 8hrs there! Special mention to Isaac who looked after us for the day/night, and the kitchen for catering for our celiac friend.
