Amazing gluten free menu and service. These folks know what they are doing! GF food served on different coloured plates. So many pasta choices, pizzas and desserts. GF calamari, bruschetta and so much more. So happy Atly helped me find it ❤️
I come here frequently and have yet to be disappointed. The food is always good, portions are very fair, top notch selection for gluten-free food. Can't find a place like this anywhere else. Cozy vibe, great service, and wholesome food. All of these factors make it a pleasure to support the business.
I'm just going to strictly speak for the service here - Dave, who took our order, was really great at walking us through the options that work for our celiac son, and a way to get more out of our order (by just ordering the monster platter and the GF wrap and making our own wrap). I'd go again for anyone looking for GF options.
Amazing time and food. We were 3. Stayed away from the dips so that we didn’t have to segregate with normal pita and gf pita. 7 dishes split 3 ways and just gorgeous food. Felt very safe there after asking questions.
They offer a solid variety of vegetarian and gluten-free options, and it’s clearly a popular spot—it’s typically busy during peak hours. That said, the food can be quite hit-or-miss. I’ve been coming here for years and tend to stick to the same items, having tried most of the menu. Some days, the food is excellent; other times, the selection is disappointingly sparse or just not good. Occasionally, they’ll introduce a new dish that’s barely edible—or worse, come up with something incredible only to never serve it again. The inconsistency is frustrating, especially when you’re driving 20 to 30 minutes without knowing whether you'll find a great spread or a disappointing lineup. Given the higher price point, I expect more reliability. Also worth noting: the kitchen staff is consistently warm and friendly, while the front-of-house team tends to be less welcoming—which always feels a bit off.
THIS PLACE IS THE BEST!!! The people here are so kind and the food is so good. They also offer gluten free options and make their spicy mayo sauce fresh. I definitely suggest coming to check this place out, definitely worth it.
I don’t normally review , but WOW. I have had a gluten intolerance for a few years now and have recently been taking it very seriously. As you can imagine it’s been hard to find things to substitute things with gluten that doesn't taste like cardboard. If your gluten free THIS IS YOUR PLACE. I had a ham panini , cupcake and brownie all gluten free. I was so delighted how fresh and yummy the bread tasted , the cupcake was just right amount of sweet with a light tasting icing. Oh gosh, perfection. I haven’t tried the brownie yet but I’m confident it’s delicious. Too bad we live an hour away, but I will 100% be returning here soon, worth the trip. Thank you 3 Sisters!
Food was delicious! I’m gluten and dairy free and they were super accommodating! Gluten free pasta with no dairy it was great! Even had an amazing Cesar salad without parm or croutons. Did not expect this for a sit and order spot. Atmosphere makes you feel like you’re actually sitting in a restaurant but it’s so affordable (Pasta $13 + $6 protein pre-tax). Staff are so kind and friendly, food was prepared quickly and without errors. Music is a great vibe and it’s very clean. Definitely coming back!!
We had a Christmas get-together with our bowling group on December 19, 2024. The staff are amazing 👏, they went above and beyond service!
The chef expressly made my own plate of gluten-free nachos 😋 THANK YOU!

First experience was amazing, had the gluten free pizza crust and by far one of the best I've had. Returned a second time specifically for the good pizza to find out they had run out of the gluten free dough. Very upset, you shouldn't put something on the menu if you don't keep it in stock. This would have never happened with a regular dough. Extremely disappointed and will not return.
Chose 4 tacos (pastor, gringa, camaron, tinga) and they were all excellent. The mariachi band was fun. Absolutely worth a visit. And it’s gluten free approved!
I learned that Lapointe's had a gluten-free fish and chips option, so decided to give it a try. It was so delicious, generous portions, and service was super quick. The server was pleasant and courteous, and took the time to explain the other GF options. It was definitely worth the trip from the east end to Bells Corners. Highly highly recommended.
Lovely location! Brought my non-veggie/vegan family members and they were absolutely blown away. One of my family members has celiac and the server was very accommodating and knowledgeable. It's nice to come to place where everyone can eat without worrying. The service is always amazing and the food always tasty! The portions are more than generous. I can't recommend this restaurant enough!

Super fun place, great food, great service. Had a blast. 100% Gluten Free. Huge, varied menu. Great cocktails, lots of flavours of margaritas. All serviced super fast, super friendly. Cannot wait for patio season to enjoy the food and drinks in the sun... but the interior is decorated very festively. I'll be back!
The most incredible food and drinks. The GF ravioli is seriously delicious and the gluten free cauliflower “Enzo” pizza is to die for. Fantastic GF options. Our server, Nick, was beyond amazing - kind, professional, and fun. We can’t wait to go back.
As someone with celiac disease it’s hard to eat out, but my server Alexis provided me with all the gluten free options they had and took all the extra steps to make sure I felt safe to eat!
Wonderful vegan thali platter! Every dish on the platter is delicious and unique. We always order extra roti as it only comes with one piece. It’s a great spot for sharing dishes and they can accommodate larger groups.
They also offer lots of gluten free options, and the celiac person in our group felt accommodated and felt good after eating (they are obviously careful with cross-contamination).
About thirty of us ranging in age from two to 97 years recently met at Bambu to celebrate a friend’s 80th birthday. A twelve course tasting menu was designed for us some weeks in advance by the owner Jeremy, taking into consideration vegetarians, individuals with gluten sensitivity, meat and seafood lovers.
On the day of the party, we discovered that a friend was now vegan, another wanted no onions in her meals and a young guest was allergic to peanuts. Staff at Bambu handled this promptly and without any fuss or complaint. A special mention to our main server Jennifer.
The menu consisted of 3 appetizers, 3 sushi rolls and 6 mains including fried rice, Pad Thai, chicken and seafood curries. Portions were generous and the food was tasty. Dessert and coffee ended a very satisfying meal.
Thank you Jeremy and Jennifer for a superb evening at Bambu.
Nice bright open space to enjoy a meal. I had the smash burger with gluten free bread and salad on the side… very tasty. Don’t feel bloated … very fresh. Highly recommend.
My friend and I had such a great time catching up this past Sunday night! We enjoyed two celiac-friendly burgers and our server was so gracious, attentive, professional, and hospitable. She allowed us to sit at a table to see with a clear view of my bike that was chained up outside (I wanted to keep an eye on it!). Overall, a courteous experience that allowed us to make quality memories and the food was great and allergy safe! We will be back!
im pretty new to the city, and i was craving authentic dosa. a friend had recommended i try east india company and i was so happy to find a spot that not only offers delicious dosa but brunch!! the buffet was amazing (the lamb curry alone stole my heart) there is clear indication on the buffet for which dishes contain gluten or dairy (great for my dairy intolerant/celiac mom who rarely finds places that she can trust to eat at without risk) the restaurant is beautifully decorated, nice and bright and the service was outstanding - our server rheo was very attentive and friendly and everyone greeted us with a smile. we loved the ambiance and will definitely go back!
We had a great experience dining at Joey Rideau! Our food was delicious. Highly recommend the steak frites (this dish is also celiac safe, if you cannot have gluten). Our server Daphne was very kind and made sure that we enjoyed everything! We were celebrating our anniversary and it was lovely.

Wonderful dessert place with many dairy free and gluten free options. We tried a great piece of chocolate cake. We also had a brownie and a piece of chocolate truffle cake. Yummy!
Nearly the entire menu is gluten free. Very knowledgeable about cross contamination. Food is delicious and the staff are fantastic. Always a safe and delicious spot to visit. Our go to special occasion resto for years.
Very good Italian cuisine. The service is exceptionally fast and knowledgeable about gluten-free options. I only wanted a few minutes between the salad and the main course, which was a bit too quick for me personally. It was very clean and the ambiance was nice.
A beloved place for the entire family, featuring tasty crepes with a gluten-free choice. Excellent coffee and enjoyable conversation with friendly staff.
Great burger and wings. Gluten free bun. Very flavourful! Good atmosphere
A little slow but no complaints with golf on the screen and good company
Will be back for fish and trips
Went out for a birthday dinner. Took a good 30 min to get our food. One burger was way overcooked and the gluten free bun was so dry and crumbly, we had to take it off to eat it.
The two other burgers with the cheese stuff patty was almost raw. gave the food a 2 star because the onion rings were good and so were bacon wrapped cheese balls.
The food was okay, but our experience was disappointing. It was a very busy evening at the restaurant, making it difficult to have a conversation due to the noise level. We had to speak very loudly just to hear each other.
For dessert, we ordered five gluten-free cheesecakes (four for takeout and one to try at the restaurant) and one cinnamon bun with ice cream. After tasting the cheesecake and the cinnamon bun, we decided we didn’t like the cheesecake’s flavor and asked to change our takeout order of four gluten-free cheesecakes to four cinnamon buns with ice cream instead.
We informed the waiter that we had tried one cheesecake and didn’t enjoy the taste, so we no longer wanted the four cheesecakes for takeout. However, the waiter insisted that we still had to pay for the cheesecakes because they had already been boxed. While they offered a 10% discount if we wished to purchase the cinnamon buns, we found this resolution unsatisfactory.
Overall, we left feeling very disappointed with the experience.
This place was very busy during the holidays. Many many MANY dessert options, including gelato, as well as what looked like great actual lunch food options too. They had decent vegan brownies (my friend said) and I had a very good gluten free triple chocolate cake! My husband had a coffee, and his friend had a fancy latte which had a picture on the top! Think slightly higher pricing than Starbucks but much fresher and better quality, as well as much more accessible for those with food allergies or sensitivities.
Everyone enjoyed their drinks and desserts, but it was a bit of a wait. This was the second time my husband and I had tried to go here with friends, the first time there was no seating left for 3, so we left, but this time we had 5 people and eventually we got seating. My husband and I were there for about 25 minutes waiting for a table for 5. We could have put a couple tables together ourselves, but I think they didn't let us do that because of fire-safety exit protocols, so we had to wait. There is self-serve water which is great. The place has lots of windows and comfortable seating of various types (arm chairs and regular chairs at tables). Highly recommend if you're visiting or living in Orleans, especially if you can go back at a less busy time.
It's rated among the top cafes in Ottawa. The food and ambience is really good. If you are looking for a good brunch place, I absolutely recommend it. They have a good extensive menu to choose from with many veg and gluten free options.
I wish I could give this more than 5 stars.
An absolute gem of a place. We asked the owner for recommendations, as it was our first time. He took the time to go over the highlights of the menu and gave recommendations based on our preferences. Gluten free and vegetarian options are available, but we did not try them.
We got the pad see ew with pork, the cumin rice dish with beef, and the Tibetan beef dumplings. We also got the lemonade on the side, which was a great way to reset the pallet.
The flavours were not too bold, and worked together very nicely. It was extremely flavourful without having one specific flavour/spice dominating the dish.
The food was served in wooden bowls, which was very appealing, and comfortable to hold.
If this restaurant was located in our town, we would be regular customers. For now, we are definitely adding this as a must visit every time we come back to Ottawa.
Popped in for a quick batch of fries. I am Celiac and Five Guys are the only fries guarantied Gluten Free. I was sitting there eating away facing the staff and just watching them work. Then it hit me how they were all smiling, enjoying their job. They all had clean aprons on. The young man who took my order was so polite. Then I noticed him brooming around the tables, cleaning the fountain area. The whole place is clean!! To top it off, I then used the washroom and it was also spotless in there. I have never seen a fast food restaurant so well kept and so clean. Obviously they train their employees well. I made of point of asking to speak to the Manager (Emily) and told her she has a great team here and it doesn't go unnoticed.
Great place, Great atmosphere, Great Food!
Highly recommend!

We had a terrible experience at Del Piacete over the italian week weekend. Our waitress was unprofessional, yawning while taking our order and never checking on us. Despite arriving before other customers, we waited 50 minutes for our food while watching others get served first.
Both of our pizzas had a couple mussels that smelled and tasted absolutely rotten. Beyond this serious food safety issue, my gluten-free pizza was also completely undercooked. When I complained, the waitress said reheating it might burn it so she gave me the option of either burned or undercooked. The chef explained they use new rice-based GF dough that “doesn’t cook well” - even after returning it to the oven, it remained inedible.
To their credit, they removed the undercooked pizza from our bill when I asked not to pay for it. However, the restaurant feels dated with sticky tables, and the high prices don’t match the poor service and atmosphere. This was my second visit and will definitely be my last.

I can't say enough nice things about this restaurant. I was in the area for business and stopped here for dinner. I ordered the mahi mahi fish entree and it was arguably one of the best meals of my life. The service is very quick, professional and outstanding. What impressed me the most was the attention and care they take when preparing and serving meals for gluten-free (GF) diners like me. They can prepare must dishes GF upon request. Seldom have I witnessed such attention to detail with precautions taken. The GF cheesecake dessert was something to die for. I want to travel back to Kanata merely to dine at this location. Thank you Moxie's!
Amazing chefs they do gluten-free for celiac disease. Absolutely love this place had a great great brunch. Everything on the menu looks so good. I had the shot shashukah. It was absolutely amazing. I highly recommend this place. Ask for Joey great server.
We were driving through Manotick and decided to stop here. Super cute little place, bought a few baked goods but our favourite was the crack cookie and the fresh cinnamon rolls. The cinnamon rolls were soft without feeling too chewy like undercooked and not dry at all. Will definitely be back! They have lots of goodies and gluten free dessert options too.
