I ate the grilled blackened shrimp skewers (appetizer size with butter), The Chopped Salad, and I had crustless Key Lime pie, which was pretty big (to be honest). All were delicious! The rootbeer is gluten-free too (Maine Roots brand). Coke products served. Sorry no pictures, but it was all delicious. No reactions at all! I waited several hours before posting my review. 6/2025 This time we ordered bowls for pickup, the ponzu glass noodles are so good, we also got spinach, chipotle chicken, balsamic mushrooms, garlic broccoli, and the chimichurri sauce. We've been going to the Bethany Blues on Route 1 near Lewes for several years while on our annual Rehoboth Beach trip. The food and service is always excellent, but I'm writing this review to give them the credit they deserve for being amazing with gluten restrictions/celiac. Every single time, when I mention my gluten free diet, a manager is sent to our table and is very knowledgeable about their gluten free options.
I have been gluten free since 2008 and eat out multiple times a week so I can attest that this place is definitely one of the best in handling this restriction. While most restaurants are familiar with GF diets these days, not many make a point to train their management on it and have such a consistent plan in place (they also said they now offer a gluten free bun which is great). I had the pulled pork with cheesy creamed corn and a chopped salad and it was delicious and a generous portion.

Everything we ordered is something we would normally order from any spot that serves breakfast.
For ~$37 we got 1 iced chai, 1 Arnold Palmer, 1 French toast muffin & 2 bacon, egg and cheese sandwiches on ciabatta rolls. One had extra bacon, one subbed for scrambled egg at no extra cost.
1. The chai latte looks & tastes like it’s almost entirely oat milk with cinnamon… disappointing.
2. The Arnold Palmer tastes like unsweetened lemon water?? Like *barely* brewed tea, lots of lemon and water…
3. The breakfast sandwich starts at $6 and ended up $9.75 & $12.75 (+$3 for extra bacon)
We opted for ciabatta’s bc the bagels on display look like grocery store bagels.
The “ciabatta” was very dry and I’m wondering if it was gluten free bread.
There was SO MUCH black pepper on the bacon?? The scrambled egg tasted like premixed carton/rehydrated eggs.

Came here because of the reviews mentioning gluten free options. The place was packed but we were seated quickly, asked for a table outside and got it. Great view. Dolphins swimming in the water. The restaurant is very loud. Water comes by default in a plastic to go cup. I think they're trying to get you in and out as fast as possible.
I asked for a gluten-free menu, they said they are in the process of printing one and showed me a sheet of paper i took a photo of. At the table there was very little talk of dietary restrictions, the server did check with the kitchen if what I'd chosen was compliant gluten free dairy free but there was no attempt at helping select something. I honestly think they didn't understand or care how serious an issue that is for some people.
My companion who can eat anything ordered a pepperoni flat bread and described it as "meh". I ordered the octopus which came with "apple puree" that tasted like absolutely nothing and i mean nothing and the texture was like grainy mashed potatoes that sat on the counter for two days drying out. I suspect there was hidden butter in it because of how i felt after eating it. Also ordered a "veggie bowl". Instead of actually making something with this, they just slapped a bunch of ingredients on a plate, added a cup of tamari on the side and called it a day. At least i hope it was tamari. Feeling as bad as i did after eating here could have been caused by gluten containing soy sauce or butter.
This was neither good, nor priced appropriately, not safe if you have a food allergy.

Not a great place if you have celiac disease. We have been visiting this restaurant for a while and didn't have issues until recently. The last visit I was sick afterwards from what I assume was cross contamination. We tried again today stressing that I have celiac disease. After making some modifications to the meal (which was marked as a gluten free option) and being assured everything would be ok as they have a celiac button that alerts the kitchen I was brought a burger that had a fried onion topping and the burger itself was fried (they do not have a dedicated gluten free fryer). I sent the meal back telling the server it wasn't safe after he kept telling me it was. He came back and confirmed it was not safe. When the manager came over to check on us 15 minutes later he offered to make me a salad with no protein to make up for it since that's faster.
Anyway long story short not all the staff is trained on cross contamination or food allergies for that matter. Eat at your own risk...

Our first time to rehoboth beach we decided to try this pizza place. My daughter got a cheesesteak and I got one slice of pizza. The cheesesteak was ok but the pizza was the best I have ever had. Popped in for dinner and was able to get a table for two despite not having a reservation. The restaurant looks deceivingly small from the outside but has plenty of seating and appeared to also have a downstairs area with more seating. Plenty of gluten free options. We ordered the roasted beet salad as an appetizer and different seafood pastas with GF pasta. The waiter kindly brought gluten free bread upon request to eat with olive oil. We opted for the holiday cocktails, a Christmas Old Fashioned and Holiday Whisky Sour, which were delightful. There is an extensive wine menu which we didn’t partake in but saw a lot of options. We finished our meal with scoops of gelato, peppermint (monthly special) and pistachio. The food was wonderful as was the service. Highly recommend!!

I love this restaurant and the food is really good. I have a gluten allergy and they have a gluten free bun available for the burgers. I do have to critique the bun though, it falls apart way too easily. They need to upgrade that, but I still appreciate that they have it. I would also like it if the menu was more labeled for allergies present, and wish they had gluten free chicken wings I could eat. However, the service has always been very good there and the atmosphere is pretty chill. My husband and I love coming here or ordering food to go from their online ordering system!

The only thing I would change about this place are the hours. It would be amazing if their lunch menu was a dinner option in milton and I know they would bring in loads of business. For some reason it’s always Sunday when I get the urge to go here for breakfast. That said - the food is fantastic and the price is even better. They have done such a great job with the interior. It’s a place I have gone to sit and work and have coffee, but also a place my family loves to go to. It has a cozy feel. The people there are always wonderful. They have just enough gluten free choices that my diet doesn’t create an issue going here. I hope this place is around forever.

The food was absolutely AMAZING!!!! They were also patient with our 3 year old and our service was great. I haven’t been in a couple of years and while it has always been great…. It was particularly amazing tonight! The ahi tuna nachos and the seafood boat were both amazingly delicious (like eyes rolling in the back of your head full of flavor) and the classic baked Asiago oysters along with the fresh raw oysters were phenomenal! I had a great dinner here the other night. They do not take reservations so we had to put our name down to get seated. It was hot so we didn’t want to sit outside but they could have sat my party of four immediately if we wanted outside. We went to get a drink at the bar which was good while we were waiting. Like 15 minutes go by and we were sat. Thinking it would take 45 mins.
Overall a quick turnaround time be sat. The waiter we had was nice and accommodated my sisters celiac disease very well. The food was alright. A little expensive for the lobster and crab salad which was not the best in my opinion. Overall a good dinner. Sodel rarely disappoints.

Great Italian spot! Plenty of options and homemade pasta that’s delicious! The artichoke appetizer was incredible. Our table enjoyed the bruschetta as well. There are gluten free options and a build your own pasta which we all appreciated. The waitstaff was very attentive. It can get crowded, so make a reservation and plan to stop in here with family or friends when you’re in Rehoboth!
