Our waitress’ name was Brittany. We loved Brittany. She was well educated on what was gluten free for me to eat, gave us a whole apron tour (my mom was interested in getting the same one for her job), and was overall a delight! This is the only restaurant I look forward to going to every year for breakfast. It has a whole gluten free breakfast menu, whereas most places have eggs as the only option. And they have Brittany…who was wonderful.
Super cute atmosphere, great for bigger groups. Service was fast, well organized and friendly. I highly the banana royal and dirty banana crepe. They also can do all the crepes GLUTEN FREE!
I cannot thank Crepe Daddy enough for having delicious food options for celiacs!! I’m
Not just gluten free.. I am highly symptomatic and to have a place to eat that is both safe and delicious is a gift!
Went here for dinner with my wife while we were on vacation, figured we try something new. The food was amazing, we got the paella Valencia bowl(bought 2 by accident we didn’t realize how big it actually was!) so we had plenty to take home. My wife also got the watermelon salad and I got the beef empanadas which were also really good. The view of the bay is also very pretty. Jose was a great waiter he made sure we were taken care of and made sure my wife’s order was put in properly (she has celiac disease). Can’t wait to go back to OCMD and dine here again.
Came here for the first time a few days ago, and the service and food was so good that we came back today. We came in around 11am and were immediately asked if we wanted to see gluten free, vegan, or brunch menus. They sat us down and our server, Kellen, brought everyone water without us having to ask for it. He was so friendly and took our order (party of 4) without writing anything down so i was a bit skeptical. We each had multiple very specific modifications with our food, so I didn’t think he would remember them, but he got every single detail right. Was funny, friendly and warm, and got us boxes and the bill at an appropriate time, and refilled drinks as soon as he saw they were slightly low.
Fantastic breakfast spot, and super amazing gluten free/vegan waffles. So hard to find somewhere to eat with food allergies and Malia’s rocks it. Everything is always delicious and coffee is good too!

Very gluten free friendly! I felt very safe eating there with my daughter that has celiac disease. Our food was amazing and the drinks were yummy. Having a playground there for our wild child was amazing. We loved sitting in the sand and listening to music. We got there at 430 and had zero wait. When we left closer to 6, the line was insane. Definitely recommend going a bit early. We will definitely be returning!

I really enjoyed my food and drink. My family was not as impressed. I had an Irish coffee with a club on a gluten-free bun. The sandwich had a huge amount of turkey, and the bacon was nice and crisp. It came with a lot of chips. I needed to ask for mayo as it only came with a small smear of Dijon. One kid had the same on a pretzel bun and enjoyed his as well, but also said his was dry and added mayo. 2 kids and my husband tried the mac and cheese. They all said it was mid. It was explained as sticky and dry. It was not creamy at all. The crab mac seemed to have cheese on the top and bottom but not the middle. One kid said they tasted the crab in the mac, and the other one said they couldn't taste it at all. She barely touched her meal, and we came in hungry!
The thing that brought the rating down the most was my husband's meal. The ceasar salad did not have enough dressing to even speak on the flavor. The rack of ribs maybe had 2.5 ounces of meat. That "rack" was about as big as my husbands palm. It was one of their higher priced dishes and was totally disappointing. The barbecue sauce was an afterthought. It was smeared on and not even put back into the oven to caramelize. My husband also had some wine that he said tasted like box wine.
One kid had fish and chips. I tasted the fish. I thought it was pretty good. The batter could have been lighter. The inside was a little mushy. Kid didn't really eat his meal. He had half of his dad's mac and my chips. But that worked out. My hubby was able to substitute his lacking meal.
One kid had nachos. He enjoyed them and almost finished. This is from a kid who complains about nothing. A true gem in this world!
All in all, for the price, we felt "mom could do better." In fact, my husband said he could do better. In all fairness, I love being in the kitchen and have about 20 years of making things from scratch, but it hurts when we spend $250 and are not satisfied.
The service was great. Atmosphere was bar like. Food was only there to soak up alcohol if you had 1 too many drinks and had to beg the kitchen to turn on the fryer 30 minutes before closing.

Solid solid spot. Especially love the God Bless America volume turning up. Our son has celiacs and they were super cautious and receptive to our needs. Highly recommend
I wanted to share my recent dining experience at The Hobbit. We've always looked forward to dinner here as my family and I have celiac disease, so we've always appreciated the restaurant's gluten-free options. However, our latest visit was disappointing. We were surprised that two of our favorite appetizers, the steak carpaccio, and a scallop dish, were no longer on the menu. Instead, we tried the featured dishes: the Verde soup, which tasted like it might have been store-bought, and the ribeye, which was decent but overpriced. This experience has left me feeling hesitant about returning.
Had breakfast twice. The food was good and portion size nice. Coffee was weak and cold. Had to keep asking to be refilled and for more creamers and sugar. They did have an option for gluten free bread for a charge.
Great food at this place and (again): Ocean City DOES have Gluten Free options. This place has Gluten Free sandwich bread selections for signature sandwiches. I had the Honey Do Chicken sandwich Gluten Free and it was a delight. The atmosphere was very, very well decorated but being a JW makes skeletons and all kinda creepy.
First of all, don't believe that there are no Gluten Free options in Ocean City. This small, super clean, super nice restaurant does! Actually, they are a bit over the top, check the pics on my wife's spaghetti to go. It came with everything on the pics and the salad. (She said the bread was absolutely professional) My GF pizza is there too, which was pretty good. Great food and great service.
Delicious food and terrific service. They accommodated my allergy needs with care and patience. I am celiac so to eat gluten free at a sandwich shop is very special.
I'm on vacation so we don't really know what's out here. These guys helped a ton over the phone suggesting getting around the wife's gluten allergy. Take-out food was great, but they forgot to put the Pico and melted butter in the bag... I guess no one's perfect
Absolutely lovely experience tonight at Blue Fish! There were a lot of great gluten free options and our waitress was very knowledgeable. It was busy but we sat at the bar but had full service. Would recommend, the sushi was fresh and the pad Thai was delicious.
Great Experience for an allergy sufferer!! Gluten free crust was awesome and made extra effort to let me know the ingredients (I suffer from many food allergies). They made my pizza the way I needed it and with a smile. Everyone in our party loved the food!
They were absolutely accomodating to gluten and dairy allergies and helped navigate the menu while still enjoying a delightful meal. Great views and lots for the kids to do and see.
Great food for a reasonable price! Our server Tugba and the rest of the staff were very friendly and accommodated our gluten allergy. The interior is nice as well. One of the better restaurants in the area.
So delicious!! I got the peach honey ginger kombucha from the fridge (if you bring the jar back you get a discount!) and it was the perfect amount of sweet and spice. I also had the hummus and veggie sandwich on gluten free bread and the quinoa chips. Very tasty and the amount of food served was great. I will be back to try the acai bowls! Staff very friendly and knowledgeable about gluten free and vegan options.
This meal did not disappoint! The owner was extremely accommodating for myself and the guest who ordered after me who also had a gluten allergy. My husband and I ordered the Gyro entree and Chicken Kabob entree and shared the meat. The rice was amazing, veggies were seasoned wonderfully and the meat was cooked and seasoned perfectly. It was a meal I didn’t have to worry about, was delicious, and traveled well as take out to enjoy from our balcony. 🤩 Would highly recommend!
The fish was good/average. There were a decent number of options. We ordered pickup and had a gluten allergy in the group, they specifically packaged all of the gluten free rolls separately and included a cup of GF soy sauce, all without us asking, which was greatly appreciated.
The spicy rolls were not spicy at all. The spicy mayo tasted like regular mayo though it was slightly red/orange like you'd expect spicy mayo to be.
But I'd definitely order from here again for the peace of mind with allergies.
They were extra accommodating of a gluten intolerance, beyond what I see from most restaurants. It made for a great experience for all of us. We all really enjoyed the food, atmosphere, and the games. We will be back!
I visited Fager's Island for the first time on April 5th and dined in the fine dining area. Prior to my visit, I received a call to confirm my reservation and seating preference. During this call, I found it a bit impolite when the person mentioned that entrees were $50 or more, as I would not have made the reservation if it were beyond my budget.
Upon arriving, we were seated at our table. I ordered a lemon drop martini, a house salad, and the scallops risotto from the gluten-free menu. I found all of my dishes to be delicious. The view was also very nice, and I wish I had arrived earlier to better appreciate the sunset from the top. Overall, I would likely return to this restaurant.
The staff when we dined was excellent. The food was delicious as usual. The service stood out. It was busy yet we were offered refills at our table numerous times. The restaurant was busy but our food was prepared fast, hot and delicious. It is always nice to have access to a gluten free option that is so amazing every time.
Pleasing atmosphere & good coffee. If you order food, just know it takes at least 30 minutes to receive it. Coffee comes out almost immediately, though! So just plan accordingly. Otherwise, great customer service & great coffee. We ordered a breakfast sandwich, gluten-free bread, & a Sunset breakfast burrito that was described as "Dynamite!" 😁
Over all this place was fabulous. I highly recommend a reservation as the first night we tried to come it was totally booked. They only serve traditional cocktails, but they are made well, and they have a decent wine selection as well. We got the garden salads with house dressing and mozzarella caprice. Both were really good. I got the Bolognese sauce with a gluten-free penne and highly recommend it. If you are gluten-free, you know that all pasta is not created equal, theirs is pretty awesome. My husband got the Timballo Abruzzi, which was a lamb cardamom lasagna variation, and was very tasty. The lamb tortellini only got four out of five stars because the sauce was a bit runny. The chicken Parmesan was pretty awesome, but the penne, with marinara side was lackluster. Overall we absolutely recommend this place.
Stopped in while in OC for a volleyball tournament. I hate crowds so I try to avoid all the popular beach spots, which led me to DRY 85. As a bourbon lover, I thought their selection was great and I enjoyed trying some of the private barrel options with the flight. The bartender/server was knowledgeable both on the drinks and food menu, explaining the variety of gluten free options. I got a burger without bun and it was a good amount of food at a fair price (wish I took a pic).
Our site seeing tour guide recommended Harborside, he mentioned them having the best crab cakes in ocean city. My husband and I ate dinner there the next evening. Food did not disappoint. He enjoyed the crabcakes and in the fish. I also have a gluten allergy. I chose the grilled mahi mahi. Very delicious, no gluten reaction

Double check with the chef when the menu says gluten free because it isn’t. We ordered an item on the menu that says it’s gluten-free and asked the server if it really was. She said that it must be if it says it. Then she asked the chef and we were told that after the menus were printed the chef changed the recipes and they are NOT gluten-free even though the menu states that they are. We have brought this up to the manager but nothing has changed. Be careful if you have a severe gluten issue.
We had a fabulous dinner here. McKensie (spelling) was fantastic! I am celiac, and she was on it. If she didn't know she asked. I had the seafood imperial, with green beans and rice. The entire meal was amazing. Two people had the crab cakes, and are very picky about their crab cakes and they loved them as well. Also, someone at our table got the Salomon. He loved it as well.
Two of us got the bread pudding as a finish, they thought it was amazing, but should add raisins hahaha
Only down part was the music was way to loud and and the choice was not really dinner time friendly.
Thank you for a lovely evening
I’m sure the food is good, but for a cafe it is INCREDIBLY slow. We got here at 9:45am and waited to order for 30 minutes even though we were only 4th in line.
It’s now 10:20am and we haven’t received food yet. Just make sure you’re not in a hurry. Will edit the review once we get the food.
EDIT: dropping to 1 star because we’ve now been waiting for 45 mins and haven’t received our food.
FINAL EDIT:
We received our food at 10:35am (50 mins). Unfortunately, they also didn't include the gluten-free bagel, so one of us wasn't able to eat.
As the owner made clear in his response, the manager of the restaurant did give us a full refund. I changed our rating because of this. The owner made it sound (in their response) like we only waited 20 minutes, which was of course AFTER we were able to finally place our order.
I updated my rating and review for more accuracy and to reflect that they refunded us.
Fresh bread made there every morning!!!! Can it get any better than that?! Yes, the answer is yes it can!! We went for breakfast and they had so many great options. You are covered if you are hungry, gluten free, keto, not very hungry or just want something healthy! They have you covered! The monkey break is absolutely amazing!! Head on over and enjoy!
