Amazing gluten free menu and service. These folks know what they are doing! GF food served on different coloured plates. So many pasta choices, pizzas and desserts. GF calamari, bruschetta and so much more. So happy Atly helped me find it ❤️
THIS PLACE IS THE BEST!!! The people here are so kind and the food is so good. They also offer gluten free options and make their spicy mayo sauce fresh. I definitely suggest coming to check this place out, definitely worth it.
I don’t normally review , but WOW. I have had a gluten intolerance for a few years now and have recently been taking it very seriously. As you can imagine it’s been hard to find things to substitute things with gluten that doesn't taste like cardboard. If your gluten free THIS IS YOUR PLACE. I had a ham panini , cupcake and brownie all gluten free. I was so delighted how fresh and yummy the bread tasted , the cupcake was just right amount of sweet with a light tasting icing. Oh gosh, perfection. I haven’t tried the brownie yet but I’m confident it’s delicious. Too bad we live an hour away, but I will 100% be returning here soon, worth the trip. Thank you 3 Sisters!
First experience was amazing, had the gluten free pizza crust and by far one of the best I've had. Returned a second time specifically for the good pizza to find out they had run out of the gluten free dough. Very upset, you shouldn't put something on the menu if you don't keep it in stock. This would have never happened with a regular dough. Extremely disappointed and will not return.
The gluten-free eggs Benedict was okay, but nothing special. The service was really slow, and the server wasn't very clear about what contained gluten and what didn't, but luckily her colleague was.
Wonderful vegan thali platter! Every dish on the platter is delicious and unique. We always order extra roti as it only comes with one piece. It’s a great spot for sharing dishes and they can accommodate larger groups.
They also offer lots of gluten free options, and the celiac person in our group felt accommodated and felt good after eating (they are obviously careful with cross-contamination).
This place was very busy during the holidays. Many many MANY dessert options, including gelato, as well as what looked like great actual lunch food options too. They had decent vegan brownies (my friend said) and I had a very good gluten free triple chocolate cake! My husband had a coffee, and his friend had a fancy latte which had a picture on the top! Think slightly higher pricing than Starbucks but much fresher and better quality, as well as much more accessible for those with food allergies or sensitivities.
Everyone enjoyed their drinks and desserts, but it was a bit of a wait. This was the second time my husband and I had tried to go here with friends, the first time there was no seating left for 3, so we left, but this time we had 5 people and eventually we got seating. My husband and I were there for about 25 minutes waiting for a table for 5. We could have put a couple tables together ourselves, but I think they didn't let us do that because of fire-safety exit protocols, so we had to wait. There is self-serve water which is great. The place has lots of windows and comfortable seating of various types (arm chairs and regular chairs at tables). Highly recommend if you're visiting or living in Orleans, especially if you can go back at a less busy time.
Delicious wood-fired pizza, easily the best pizza in all of Ottawa. We had a large party and they are very accommodating for different dietary restrictions. Everyone got something a bit different and it was all delicious with fantastic service.
We had a gluten-free, dairy-free eater and they had options. We had kids and they all had options. I can't have tomatoes - I know! - and they had a pesto option.
Prices were spot on if not down right cheap for the quality you get.
Will eat here again without a doubt. Loved it!
What a gem! As someone who eats gluten-free and dairy (due to illness( it’s rare to find a place that delivers on both! and this restaurant exceeded all expectations. The curry was absolutely amazing: rich, flavorful, and deeply satisfying. You can tell everything is made with care and fresh ingredients. Friendly staff and cozy atmosphere made the experience even better. Can’t wait to go back!
My friends and I went here because it’s always been just around the corner but never tried it. Today we did and it was so good. Extremely friendly lady greeted us with a really warm welcome and helped us with the menu and even thoughtfully catered to my gluten free needs. The food was amazing (and even the tortilla soup was crazy good) and we will definitely be making more stops here! I only wish we came sooner.
Great place to go with a mix of people when you have dietary restrictions in the group. They have vegan and gluten free options that are super delicious! Their drink menu is also great, they are always changing things up to have different food and drink options, you can go all the time and still have new things to try.
An excellent experience. We did the "Blind Sharing Menu", which was incredible. They were able to accommodate for Gluten, and would have customized it for pretty much anything. We got smaller portions of the best dishes, some unique things and an incredible experience. Timing was awesome, service was great, nicely relaxed. A great spot. Highly recommended.

No secret food not the draw. Been few times this summer and never a gluten free bun. Obviously don't care. Service always been good as is view if get right seats. Kinda annoying and loud music which somewhat dissipates with alcohol. Went for website advertised live music today but was none. Again, ownership/mgr doesn't seem to care. Could do much more with space. Underperforming. Too bad. Likely never again unless some changes.
Lovely local coffee shop! A variety of pastries and many of them are gluten free and/ or vegan. Many coffee options available with lots of different types of milks. I bought a bag of ground coffee that I can’t wait to try too! They also sell soaps and plants and lil things. A decent amount of seating available too. I also really really appreciate that they are still holding a vaccine mandate! Makes me feel so much safer. Thank you so much!
Nice enough place. The gluten-free bun on my berger was not the best. Thick cut fries were good as was the salad. And it was a little noisy, but I would go back
Me and my friend have been here twice, Ashley has been our server both times and has been extremely lovely and accommodating for my friend’s gluten allergy!! She remembered us when we came in and even helped me figure out what I should get for lunch as I couldn’t decide what to get.
Accommodated us on the patio no problem, actually had gluten free pizza which was the best gluten free from here to Toronto with excellent service. A great family meal - gem of a spot!
Love this place! Parm fries and smoked jerk wings were fantastic. Partner loves their coffee too. We plan to be regulars!
(Selected menu items are Celiac safe too!)
The food is great! I only have one complaint -
I really appreciate that there’s a gluten free option but am disappointed that it’s just untoasted sandwich bread instead on an actual bun.
A bit of a bummer! Would love to see an actual GF bun to make the quality even better.
Awesome local coffee shop. Totally worth the 10 minutes walk from the core area. Highly recommend their breakfast wrap as well as their gluten-free fudge brownie!
Cute little place in Manotick with great service which was kind of surprising for how busy they were as they initially seemed understaffed for amount of patrons seated. Waiter was attentive, funny and friendly. Went due to there gluten free options which were good. Nice experience. Thank you.
Ordered take out for the first time. Having a gluten allergy its always a worry but I was impressed with how everything was handled. The food tasted great. I highly recommend.
We celebrated my Mum's 80th birthday with a breakfast brunch in the Rideau Room. The buffet selection was amazing – the bacon and sausages were the best we've ever had! The Bridge was very accommodating to food sensitivities and allergies, providing gluten and dairy-free options. Our guests all loved the food and the venue. The room was beautifully decorated and set up exactly as we discussed. Michelle and Chris exceeded our expectations and contributed greatly to the success of our party – thank you both!
This place is SO good. They had items containing gluten marked on the menu. The waitress was super knowledgeable and knew exactly what celiac was/what was gluten free and safe for me to eat. I had the brisket (without crispy onions) and the pork taco.. both delicious! Great service & atmosphere.
Chips are shared fryer with breaded items so I didn’t risk it.
My friends really enjoyed their tacos too (fish and cauliflower).
Will be back soon!
Ember hit the mark in terms of an upscale location in the heart of downtown Ottawa. Welcoming and elegant. Food wasn’t cheap, but it was great value for what you pay. Almost all items on the menu can be made gluten free. Great selection of Negronis and other Gin cocktails, and big non-alcohol selection. Our server Stacy was knowledgeable and attentive and efficient. I would definitely recommend for a special occasion or a nice date night.
The Gluten Free options were amazing here! The whole first row of the pastry case was GF (and some vegan!). I couldn’t pick just one thing, it all looked so delicious!
My shaken espresso was also perfect and the staff were all so lovely. Absolutely returning and recommending to all my GF friends!
What an awesome gem hidden beside the Art Gallery ! Dropped in for an evening drink, always have an Aperol Spritzer. Tonight we ordered a charcuterie board. I asked for gluten free crackers, unfortunately a lot of the meat on the board was super spicy:( I asked the waitress to replace it and she did gladly.
I do not believe it was mentioned on the menu, it would have helped to know.
Great bar with lively atmosphere but not too loud that you can’t talk to the people at your table. There are so many beers and everyone enjoyed the ones they tried. There is a good selection of mocktails for those looking for non alcoholic drinks and different ciders for gluten free. We tried the scorched old fashion and sangria neither were overly impressive. I would stick to the beer/cider next time. There are gluten free options on the menu, I went with the Soco Chicken it comes with a nice sauce, the vegetables were well cooked and a huge chicken breast. It was nicely plated and tasted great! Another person we were with had the chicken burger it looked great. The Chicken Curry Rice bowl looked great also and was enjoyed, not a spicy curry more on the sweeter side. Our server was great, very friendly and quick service. We would go back again!
We enjoyed it so much the first night, we went back afsjn the next night. Those two night, Thu & Fri, there was live music. Nachos the first night and salmon salad the next night. Both were very good.
Unfortunately, they were the only gluten-free options I could find on the menu.
There is a huge variety of whiskey. Since they had a half-shot available, I tried a couple. Moce
Great beers, great menu, great music, great service. ‘Nuff said! Glutenberg beer available most of the time if you are wheat or gluten intolerant. Lots of choices for their brews for those who are not. I loved my kale salad with salmon and hubby loved his smoked sausages w/ basil dill pesto and seasoned potato wedges. Outside seating is nice, but on the parking lot.
Visited last night. Overall, we enjoyed our meals. However: it was very loud (in general, not due to music) and we all had trouble hearing each other from one end of the table to the other (two tables pulled together). The waitress seemed distracted/bothered and/or couldn't hear us herself and twice missed something that was requested. Ordered a lemon drop martini ($14!!!) and the glass was about 3/4 full, almost like someone had taken a sip or two before it was served, and the stem of the glass was sticky. All of our food was lukewarm instead of hot. For the women, there was only one bathroom with only two stalls, and one was out of order, causing lineups of 3 people or more at times. And finally, there was nothing on the menu to indicate which meals were gluten-free except for mentioning that gluten-free buns were available for burgers. The waitress didn't know either. We were surprised that something that simple was left off the menu; there were spots for alcohol-free items on the menu, but nothing to show what was gluten-free, vegetarian, or vegan. The food was tasty though and we all particularly enjoyed the whipped feta with sundried tomato pesto appetizer, but it needed another naan with it as we had cheese left over; We wound up eating the rest of the cheese with our utensils.
