Truly inedible gluten-free pizza. The waiter told me if I wanted it remade but it wouldn't have made sense as the dough was the same. The appetizers were acceptable but the prices were very high compared to the quality. I found a bottle of water €2.50 really expensive. Considering that two of us spent €47, it's a good idea that the pizza wouldn't have been added to the bill since it was all left over after tasting the first slice. REALLY DISAPPOINTED

We were on holiday in Tropea and being gluten and lactose intolerant, it was a great joy for us to discover that this bar made the renowned gluten and lactose free truffles of many flavours. Honest prices and excellent quality, as well as kindness and helpfulness on the part of the owner and his staff. We have returned several times. We highly recommend!

I have been coming to Amantea for years and I always made a quick stop, until the last time where I unfortunately noticed personally that the quality is no longer the same. The last time I ordered a plate of gluten-free spaghetti with clams and the pasta was cooked almost inedible because it was so raw and the clams contained sand traps. My mistake for not reporting it, otherwise I think they would have changed it for me.

It is inconceivable that a place like this puts gluten-free pizzas on the menu and when ordering I am told that you have to book the day before..... So if you have allergens and want to eat gluten-free pizza, either book in advance or change venue!!! Dear customers like me.. What a disappointment.... To the owner, do not deceive customers by putting gluten-free pizza on the menu and then say that it is not available... Avoid being a decoy.... Try to be more professional, the venue will suffer.....

I went about a year ago, good pizza, even the gluten-free one. They gave me some problems when I pointed out that the taste of the pizza was different from the one I ordered and since it was the gluten-free one it was difficult to change, I asked to redo another one and they told me that it would take more than half an hour (they wanted to tell me to settle for this one). I thank all the pizzerias that make an effort to have gluten-free pizza, but I think a little more courtesy and availability would be needed. I don't look for gluten-free by choice but because I'm forced.

Excellent restaurant with typical Calabrian food. On the advice of the locals, we went to this restaurant and it was one of the best lunches we had in Calabria. Excellent quality/price ratio, wide choice of courses, very kind waiter, generous portions and they also brought us gluten-free bread which unfortunately is not a given for all restaurants.

It offers a wide range of gluten-free products: from fried foods, to second courses, to sandwiches and pizzas. The pizza is very good. For the rolls it is advisable to call and book, as they explained to me that at least an hour of leavening is needed. Otherwise the place is very nice and the staff is friendly and very helpful.

A good restaurant/pizzeria, in the center of Tropea, the prices are also reasonable (pizza and drink less than €15) Gluten-free pizza is missing, even if present on the menu. However, for celiacs they have pasta with any seasoning on the menu and grilled meat. Advised!

We discovered this trattoria by chance, on a stop in Calabria on the way to Sicily. An excellent dinner, accompanied by a splendid view of the sea and very kind and helpful staff. Highly recommended the house appetizer, which is already filling on its own, it is truly all homemade, even the bitter. The icing on the cake: my partner is celiac and they have a special proposal line, without any sacrifices.

I don‘t understand the good reviews this restaurant has. We went here because we were limited with the food choices in Scilla, due to my friend being gluten intolerant. The staff said we could order anything and they would accommodate us which was great. The staff was also very attentive (granted, we were the only people in the restaurant at 19:30 - which should have been a first warning for us). The food was unseasoned and very disappointing! My friend had the pistachio pesto with prawns that weren‘t cooked. Raw, still cold frozen prawns on pasta - it‘s disgusting! I ordered a calamari/prawn plate with chips and a side salad. The chips and fish weren‘t flavourful and 14€ was a bit much for that, but hey, I added some vinegar and pepper and it was edible. The slap in the face was the side salad: the yellow part of an ice berg salad on a plate - no dressing, no tomatoes, no olives or herbs, nothing! Just some cut up ice berg leaves (and not even the big green juicy leaves) for 4€!! Are you actually kidding me!? I laughed out loud when I saw that. Never have I had bad food served for the price in an establishment that otherwise makes a decent impression.

On the occasion of a birthday we preferred to test this beautiful place in the historic center of San Nicola Arcella. We first sat down for an aperitif; the place has a huge quantity of soft drinks, non-alcoholic and spirits. Abundant platters and tasty delicacies. From the excellent impression, we continue with dinner and stop to eat pitazza, a Greek-like specialty with high-level typical Calabrian products inside. The sandwiches and toast are also really good and consistent. Finally, the desserts, all homemade and delicious, the choice was vast. Everything is also GLUTEN FREE, which is really for a select few. A sore point, due to the authenticity of the products, the cake with fig jam was a little "lost", resulting in a slightly unpleasant aftertaste. In any case, highly recommended.

Super welcoming place, friendly staff, fresh stockfish, delicious and not heavy. Rich and abundant menu. I was skeptical about a full stockfish menu, not really liking fish... but I was charmed, more than satisfied. Top menu prices. Excellent service, I even found a dry stain remover with brush in the bathroom. 👍🏻 We were having lunch with a celiac and they were very careful to satisfy his requests with dedicated dishes.
