For a place that has Fry in the name I expected the fries to be stellar. I was excited because they are gluten free and finding celiac safe fries is tough. Well these fries missed the mark. Over cooked, cold fries. Worst I've ever had to be honest. I am only giving 3 stars for having gluten free options that are edible but not awesome tasting. Burger was bland, sauces were bland, and the burger patty was significantly smaller than the gluten free bun (first time that's ever happened). My first bite was a mouthful of bun with no meat.
You walk in and there are trays full of already fried fries behind the counter. I am 99% sure they just grab from the trays that are not sitting under a warmer and plate them. No way they were reheated at all. Also brings into concern some food safety issues. How long do they sit there? Idk, better off going to Red Robin or 5Guys if celiac and wanting fries.
My husband and I are extremely gluten intolerant and I haven't had a French fry for a year ... We heard that they have gluten free fries that are not fried in peanut oil, as I am allergic to peanuts, ... The food was yummy, gluten free, but maybe it was the seed oil, sunflower oil, or that we ate so much, that we felt bloated after our meal .. we also ate all of the french fries and they give you a hefty portion ..
The burgers are good, I got a burger, no roll and it came on a bed of extremely fresh lettuce, tomatoes, and pickled red onions which was really good. My husband's burger on a gluten-free roll looked yummy.
Prices are good, service is very nice, and ambience is really good.
We will give it another try soon and just eat less french fries ..
Super tasty and great options for gluten free and/or vegan! We have eaten here a few times, and I'm pretty sure that this is our official and favorite pizza spot in Boise!
Traveling through Boise. Tired of just salads because of my celiac. Stopped here at Outback Steakhouse. They have a gluten free menu to chose from. I ordered the steak, baked potato with side salad. Even the dressings were gluten free! Christina, who served us, was fantastic!
The Bown Crossing BFC's staff is phenomenal. So friendly and accommodating. I'm doing Keto and had a burger in a bowl with the Brussels. So good. My parents also got burgers in a bowl and purple curly fries đ my dad got a Bison burger and said it was tasty! Before I started keto, I would choose their gluten-free bun and pick some fries to go with - they never disappoint! The burger bowls are big and filling. They put all the toppings in there, with a cut-up burger patty, so it's like a burger salad! Definitely recommend, especially the Bown Crossing location- they rock!
I rarely sit down and take the time to write a review, but I just had to stop and tell everyone about Red Bench Pizza. Iâve been a âBenchieâ now for over 20 years, and I havenât found a better pizza place!
If youâre ready to upgrade your palate but still not break the bank, look no further! There is something for everyone here, whether it be pasta, salad, pizza, or dessert (youâve GOTTA try the cannolis and the ricotta donut bites!)
Red bench has unique options that canât be found anywhere else. They have a great kids menu, to DIE for appetizers (can't go wrong with the Italian nachos!), and they even have gluten-free and cauliflower crust for those that have flour sensitivities.
The cheeky menu sports one-of-a-kind pizzas with names like â En Fuegoâ, a (spicy chicken favorite that you wonât want to miss), âNo Meat, No Cryâ, (not your typical veggie pie), and âMagic Kingdomâ, (my personal fave) with exclusive toppings like parmesan roasted mushrooms, truffle oil, and garlic oil sauce. I like to pair their specialty pizzas with a nice glass of their Marciano Red house wine.
The authentic Italian-style food is consistently good, and you can tell they use fresh ingredients. The open dining area allows you to see the employees prepare your food, and the lively atmosphere is perfect for a lunch date, date night, or a family outing. The customer service is above par for most Boise restaurants.
This local gem is a must-stop for locals and tourists alike. A unique twist is the large mural of chef Jose Andres on the Kootenai side of the building, and the âBig Red Benchâ out front for photo ops!
Close to downtown, Boise State University, the airport, and sitting at the heart of Boiseâs iconic Bench neighborhood, Red Bench Pizza is a win-win for all you hungry Boise Benchers!
THIS CHIC FIL A IS ABYSMAL!!!
i had a simple order!!! SIMPLE!
a number 5 (grilled chicken sandwhich, for the normies :3) with a gluten free bun (i canât eat gluten đ) and SIX OR SEVEN MUSSSDTARDDSSS!
gents, the forgot the sauce
We always get really nice waitstaff here, and the food is consistently good. They are very accommodating of our food allergies, and their gluten free buns are great!
We have never had, and decided to try for their giving day. All proceeds to charity! They also have gluten free bread, the only sandwich shop like this that does. I got an Italian, as I really miss these and it was delicious. My daughter got Turkey and provolone on regular bread and it was also delicious. I ordered on the computer, and our pickup was waiting for us. It was fast on a really busy night! Thanks!
It was decent pizza but not for the cost of it. Me and my girlfriend and I have tried many gluten-free pizzas, and this one is far from being great. It isn't dry like many gluten-free free crusts are, would not go back.
I appreciated the awareness of celiac disease and gluten free items. However, due to cross contamination from a single fryer, most items are not actually gluten free. Itâs definitely best to ask questions. The AL Pastor tacos were excellent, although the excessive chunky raw white onion might not be everyoneâs cup of tea.
Awesome being back after being away a couple of years. Wife is gluten free and we didn't know they added that as an option! So happy to start coming back!
Iâve been coming here on a regular basis for the last five years and itâs always good. Thank you for all of the wonderful gluten free and vegan options.
Tried to order gluten free pizza and instead of gettin some pizza I was refunded because âWeLl We DoNt WaNt WiPe DoWn ThE lInE bEcAuSe ItS tOo InCoNvEnIeNt.â

Has been opened for a few years now, next to Albertsons on Lake Hazel and 5 Mile Rd. I've had pizzas before but never as excellent as this pizza place. The pizzas are thin crust fresh ingredients and the BEST I've ever eaten. Pizza ovens give this place an A+ rating for excellence. Great indoors or to go, and the finest NY Cheesecake ever!! Homemade pizza style pizzas. Love the wings too! Try it, you'll love it! Even has gluten-free crust.
Loved our visit! Had a great table and good food with a larger group! Patio windows open and got an elevated dish for a brewery that was delicious. Beet salad with whipped goat cheese! Pizza and sweet potato fries were awesome as well!
Great place to try huckleberry seltzer and gluten free options!
Thank you for having a gluten free bun that doesnât taste like sawdust! I was thrilled to see you offer it on your menu and ordered dinner. Of course it tasted fantastic like all your food does!
One of my favorite places! Itâs calm and cozy. We had a beautiful table at the bay window and ordered the gluten free crepes! They were amazing and service was attentive and friendly- thank you!
We ordered the Mediterranean pasta, mine was gluten Free and my husband's was regular. The presentation was beautiful but the dish was extremely bland and the sauce was thin and flavorless. Mark, the manager, had the head chef redo our dishes and they turned out amazing, delicious. We appreciate that they were so willing to make it right. The cost of our dinner with drinks and dessert was very reasonable. We will definitely be back.
Willowcreek Grill always has amazing meals, I love that they have a sushi AND a grilled menu. I am gluten free, and they have lots of options for me to choose from, even including alcoholic beverages (a couple cider choices are available). The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming.
I planned to trip to the city and need a place to accommodate both my wife and I desire for a good quality meal and the safety of a place that knows how to prepare things for people with food allergies like my son.
I made an inquiry to the website about their handling of gluten free and dairy free items. The general manager wrote back within minutes, providing an outline of how they approach safely, providing their food, and offering us the opportunity to make a reservation.
We arrived at the time reserved and service was prompt, welcoming, and made us at ease.
The food was spectacular. American fare is American fare is American fare, right? Wrong. The wings were executed flawlessly. Fries served thinner but not quite into pomme frittes delicacy, in a way that's well suited the truffle cheese upgrade.
The sauces, rubs, and garnishes are the subtle touches that make "typical American fare," anything but typical.
Incredible experience!! We were visiting from Salt Lake City and we were blown away by their sushi/nigiri. The all you can eat option was great and we were able to order appetizers, nigiri and rolls. Gluten free friendly! They had tamari sauce and made note of my celiac disease to ensure no issues.
Great selection of sake and -196 seltzers! Canât wait to go back.
Wow! We found this gem last week and it's absolutely going to be our new go-to for tacos and delicious drinks. The manager and staff were so kind, friendly, and attentive. They handled my gluten and dairy intolerance perfectly. The tacos were generous for the price and delicious - the margaritas were perfection! Planning to come back again this week.
THE Thai place in Boise! Great place, great staff, amazing food, and you can get some gluten free options. I personally go back and forth between the Pad Thai and the Curry.
Lovely lunch spot, feels like you're in an Italian deli. All of the food is fresh, gourmet-quality, so many options for gluten-free, dairy-free, vegan, etc... Fantastic place for lunch, European gifts, prepared meals to bring home for later. Literally our favorite deli!
Great food with vegan and gluten free options on just about everything.
I love their burgers and taco bowls. The taco bowl is a delicious and filling gluten free route with cauliflower rice and black bean base. The chipotle crema and chicken tinga rock my world.
The burgers are a little greasy but exceedingly delicious. They add interesting toppings like hatch peppers and bacon jam. I'm pretty sure you can even go gluten free and vegan with an impossible burger and gluten free bun.
I'm not much for fast food, but damn I LOVE Fanci Freeze. Always fast, always friendly, always just what Im craving. Highlights are the milk shakes, gluten free bun and, much thanks to our wonderful server tonight, (shout out to Cora!), PUP CUP! Something for the whole fam.
WOW!! Such a thoughtful menu, amazing local tap and wine selection, and we felt so taken care of every moment. The food was out of this world and lots of gluten free options with a clearly marked menu and knowledgeable service. We had the nachos (delicious custom jalapeño cheese sauce WOW) and the delicious fish tacos. All the food came out hot and perfectly yummy. Canât wait to come back for the live music! What a treasure!
