i've been quite a few times but last night went with my family after my sister's graduation. i have celiac and our server (taylor i believe?) was superrrr informative and made sure i had all the info to decide what i wanted to eat & stay away from! clearly there's some really good server training going on.
food was delicious as always and we had a great time :)
We always enjoy coming here. You can create your own pizza. They have gluten-free and dairy-free options. It's nice to be able to eat pizza again. The staff is always friendly and helpful.
I really liked the restaurant and how they had both good indoor and outdoor space. They had an amazing drink selection for people who like beers. I'm gluten free and they have two styles of gluten free pizza. Which is thin crust and Detroit style, which I had. It was very yummy and definitely will be back.
I'm non celiac gluten free and the gentleman behind the counter was super helpful. He explained how the half & half works for the gluten free crust. He made sure to clean the prep area while telling me my options. The pesto & parmesan half of my crust was delicious. Highly recommend.
Great experience. I had the Greek salad. My son had the gluten free version of the hummus plate. We both thought the food was delicious. The service was EXCEPTIONAL. Our friendly server checked back several times. My diet soda was refilled without me having to ask. The atmosphere was cozy, featuring an eclectic mix of Jockamo items and local Irvington posters and art. We plan to return.
My American Legion Post 510 gathers here for a meal prior to our monthly meetings. The staff is great and friendly. The menu has so many different items to choose from that I have a hard time deciding. They also have vegan and gluten-free items to choose.
They handle Celiac well and this is the main reason we go. Last visit, our gluten deep dish pizza was raw. Not real other way to describe it. Dough could pe easily scraped off and tasted like raw biscuit dough. No problem, mistakes happen.
They bake another and it is exactly the same. Server said the manager said if I complain again that it is the cheese. I know raw dough from cheese. This means the manager didn't bother to look at the returned pie. The center was barely warm.
I suggested that they might be cooking at too high a temp and looking at the top for doneness. The server mentioned that the HAD been having some oven issues. 🤷
Two fails here: doing the same thing twice a d expecting different results (definition of insanity) and the lack of actual managing by the manager and checking out the problem.
Now I get to try to pan fry the bottom cooked in a gluten free kitchen without contaminating anything. Lovely. I had hoped to just eat a good pizza out, but left still hungry.
The block this pizza place is on its wonderful. My wife has gluten and dairy allergies, and this was the first pizza place she's been able to eat at for quite some time. She was thrilled to find it, and the pizza was excellent.
I am absolutely LIVID with the pizza that was delivered to me for my daughter. It looked absolutely DISGUSTING...it was burnt and it literally looked as if he has sat out ALL DAY! I paid $30 for two pizzas she can't even consume! The pizzas were gluten- free because my daughter has hyperthyroidism, and pray she doesn't get sick from the half slice she consumed. Because by the looks of the pizzas, I am certain they didn't change their gloves. I ordered through Uber Eats and was expecting the Fishers location not this one! I better receive a refund.
The chicken tender meal was over cooked and seemed like it came out of a frozen bag! I got a plate of tail end fries and the waitress forgot my cup of chili. Thankful now! The double smash burger was dripping wet in grease if you like that kind of thing YUK! The gluten free bun was dry and just fell apart. Now I understand why nobody was in the place. First and last time here!

My uncle and I picked up pizza to go and it was a delightful experience. The gentleman working the counter shared lovely conversation. We waited just a minute for our order, so he would update us on how close they were and brought food out as he could. The gluten free was delicious. So grateful!
Do not get the gluten free option pizza unless you like mush. Bleeehck. In the garbage for us. Campfire is normally out go to, but thought we'd try something different, but my son and I both hated it in this version. Tempted to request a refund....THAT BAD. Preparing an early dinner for us now. Lemon chicken for the win.
I will say that everything else we've had there was delicious 😋
If you are in town and want a great pizza, this is the place. If you have a gluten allergy, they have gluten free pizza and keep it completely separate.
Support your local restaurants.
Stopped off the interstate. Looking for the drink to unwind and stumbled upon this bar. Pizzas look great. We tried the gluten-free crust. Surprisingly very good gluten free , cauliflower, crust... Also recommend the sausage (crumbled) topping on a pizza.. If you like a hundred cheese with your pizza, basil has the seasoning in your sauce, and high quality ingredients, you'll love the pizza too.
Went here on a Saturday afternoon. I had never tried it but heard good things. The hostess greeted us and was friendly. We got seated in the back because we were with a larger party. The atmosphere is nicely decorated. We decided to try their "limited time" calabrian chili honey and garlic wings as an appetizer which we found to be amazing. For our meal, we decided to split a deep dish bbq chicken bacon pizza which we found to be very delicious. My wife has to watch her gluten intake and the pizza was deep enough that she could eat the pizza without the crust which was partially our intent for ordering deep dish in the first place. It worked out well for us. The service was awesome as well. We're glad we came to try it and will definitely be back.
I really enjoyed the cheesey gluten free “flatbread” that came with the goats cheese app, but the margarita and holliday pizzas were probably better on a gluten crust. the hamakers is probably good on both types of dough bc the topping combo is delicious. was a little busy outside, but waiter didn’t come speak with us very often (group of 4) on a Monday night. i had a great glass of white wine and the lighting inside is very nice.
Obsessed with this place! They are great at catering to my gluten-free needs and have lots of delicious dairy-free options as well. I highly recommend trying their pizza.
I honestly don’t understand how this place has a 4.5-star rating. The pizza was incredibly underwhelming—definitely not the “fire” experience some reviews suggest. It’s overpriced for the quality, and the service left much to be desired.
We ordered a sausage and pepperoni calzone, and it was disappointing. The dough was under-cooked, making it doughy and unpleasant to eat. After just a few bites, we had to stop—it was that bad. We also tried the 8" deep dish pepperoni and cheese pizza. Unfortunately, it was loaded with an excessive amount of cheese that wasn’t even fully melted. The texture was off, and the whole thing just felt heavy and sloppy.
I opted to try the gluten-free cauliflower crust pizza, hoping for a better experience, but again, I was let down. The cheese wasn’t fully melted, and the crust was burnt on the bottom—clearly not checked before being served.
The restaurant itself needs serious attention. It wasn’t busy when we visited, so there’s really no excuse for how dirty it was. The floors and tables were sticky, and it looked like no one had cleaned in a while. Staff seemed more focused on their phones than on the guests, and it showed in the lack of attentiveness.
As for the bathrooms—absolutely disgusting. They looked like they hadn’t been properly cleaned or maintained in ages. Honestly, I’ve seen cleaner restrooms at truck stops. They need to be gutted and redone entirely.
Save yourself the trip and try somewhere else. If you want to taste real pizza, head to St. Louis. Even a basic chain like Pizza Hut would’ve been a better choice than this place.
We enjoyed a meal with a large group of friends. The service was good, our drinks remained refilled and our food came out relatively quick, especially fast considering how busy the restaurant was that evening.
They had offerings for dietary needs as well. I was able to get a gluten free crust and my son got a pizza without cheese.
You can also buy frozen pizza to take home and finish baking which is nice for those of us we don't live near their restaurants. It made a nice surprise for my family.
I ordered a gluten pizza, pepperoni, salad, and cinnamon bread. The pizzas were burnt and the bread was also burnt. When my ordered first got here I called and spoke to the general manager. He stated its the settings and advised me to order a thin crust next time. I wasn't calling to get free food, but he could of offered a discount or something. He didn't seem like a happy person. Not sure if I will order from this location again. The salad was good. I spoke with Debbie, with consumer relations. She took my number for a call back.
Update - Placed another order and the food was great! Thanks Joshua!
Placed a large order of pizza, salad and breadsticks to be delivered to our hotel to feed a volleyball team and their families a late lunch after playing all morning. Manager delivered it himself and made an extra trip to make sure the order was right. Everyone loved the pizza and raved about the freshness of the salad. The gluten free crust was incredible! Would definitely eat here again!
Gluten-free pizza was the very BEST I've had.. EVER!! I will definitely be returning.
The cause was plentiful and the meats were delish!!! The crust was baked PERFECTLY.
Thank you for going above the norm!! In quality and see service. I was greeted quickly and was served with a heart felt thank you and smile.
The pizza is a family favorite, and they're very careful with the gluten free options. The restaurant is always clean and the staff is always helpful and are quick to make any issues right. I would recommend it to a friend.
Great pizza place, they have gluten free crust and they have nice people working there. Everyone loves pizza but chicago's is a must for even the most savvyiest of pizza connoisseurs. The salads are good as well!

I'd like to leave a review that isn't favorable at the moment. I may rewrite it with a more positive experience later. Perhaps this will prompt a response from corporate, as I've tried contacting them once before but received no return call or email.
To any customer considering ordering online, please be aware that their website isn't user-friendly by any standards.
Our experiences, along with examples, have cost us money and led to disappointing meals.
For instance, coupons have failed to load correctly on two different occasions. Also, the process to apply a coupon is a three-step process that sometimes gets deleted upon checkout, which is not easily done by any standards.
On one occasion, the online ordering system changed our ingredients upon checkout, giving us cauliflower gluten-free crust (which is not something we wanted at all).
When we informed the customer representative at the store that this wasn't what we ordered, they became defensive and kept repeating, "Well, this is what you ordered online."
Honestly, as a paying customer for "high-end, expensive pizza," my only concern is returning home with the correct pizza for my wife and family.
Needless to say, I haven't ordered pizza from there again. Today, my wife and I decided to give them another chance with a simple order—something that's pre-made and almost impossible to mess up unless we forget to check for the salad dressing.
We ordered the Mediterranean Salad for a quick, light dinner. We did enjoy their blue cheese, chicken, cranberry, spinach, apple cider vinegar entrée salad.
All I can say is, somehow, we got the short end of the stick again. I'm not suggesting anyone did anything on purpose, but we paid over $18.00 for two salads, and it seems whoever prepared these salads for sale(s) didn't include any blue cheese and replaced it with two soft slices of tomatos. I'm pretty sure the other ingredients were also pretty sparse. Mostly iceberg lettuce with four leaves of spinach and two thin slices of pre-cooked chicken.
Something I have also battled with is getting a well done pizza crust. I have spoken to the store prior to ordering and I'm sure they attempted to make it "Well done". But floppy pizza crust isn't really well done.

Better customer service than Dominos, but DO NOT ORDER ONLINE. Their electronic ordering system "is transmitting orders incorrectly" and because it's corporate's website, the store will not compensate customers for mistakes like sending a regular pizza instead of a gluten free.
The pizza was ready quickly (on a Friday night!). It would have been helpful to have the pizzas labeled since we had a couple that were gluten-free, but we figured it out!
