Best Ethiopian food we’ve had in the Bay Area. 100% teff injera only (and damn good too, not at all brittle or thin like it can be some places), so good for the gluten free among us.

Wow-Gojo Ethiopian Delivers-the best!!.. I had/needed Vegan (and gluten free) food and was recommended the Combo Injeera and picked, cooked, and pickled lil’ dishes assortment. The server Moumoud (pardon, close?!!) was a pleasant experience himself in providing the choices and being a beacon of gentle, prompt, attentive, and kindly, jovial service. I felt like I was being served by family-in his mentioning of his cherished veggie dishes for me-that were… simply AMAZING..and were light, sweet, slightly spicy, and cooling as well. And…the injeeera here-may be the best injeera in NorCal-serious. Lightest, and most firm-absolutely teff-and delicious w/all the assortment! You can also tell of the humble pride of Ethiopia here-in the decor, both western and Ethiopian. I imagine they have both lots of Ethiopians and westerners in groups on a solid dining evening! I didn’t try the meat dishes-they looked delectable-aside of my preference-in that they were very special dishes-go to this place w/a few friends or family who is daring or likes Ethiopian-it’s an awesome group experience in a place like this-in sharing!! You’ll love the variety of your friend’s, neighbor’s, or mom in law! If you are in San Jose or on your way to/from Santa Cruz-definitely stop by for a small bite or a solid meal! What an early dinner/afternoon delight! And if you see Moumoud-you’ll know-because he has a glowing smile for his food! Ask him about a recommendation for you!!

This place was not what I was expecting at all! I walked in hoping that would have just one gluten-free option: turns out the ENTIRE place is gluten-free!! I got the spicy thai shrimp bowl and it was super delicious. Will for sure be coming back here. They even have gluten-free cookies!

I’ve been eating at various 5 guys for years. I stopped by this location while visiting family in the area. When I ordered my lettuce wrap burger the guy at the register clarified by asking if it was a preference choice or allergy. Then asked if I wanted my orders in separate bags since I had a bun with my husband’s order. I’ve never had anyone ask or treat my gluten intolerance with such respect. Major props to this location, their training and the politeness of this gentleman. And the seasonings on their Cajun fries was perfect!!! Many other places skimp out and it’s disappointing, but not here.

Got the Chicken al Formaggio (Chicken Parm) and they were able to substitute gluten free pasta as the side. Service was fast and attentive, with refill on my soda. +1* for excellent smooth jazz being played for music. A bit pricey, so maybe good for business lunch/sharing with people (they do charge for split plates though). Generally recommend if you're looking for a nicer american-italian joint with good food and atmosphere. Outside seating looked nice too!

Impressive they accommodated my sister's gluten allergy. She told them of her allergy and they brought her own GF soy sauce packets. I have never been to a restaurant that has done that before. The service was great, we kept on ordering more and more rounds since the food was so delicious, I walked in hungry and certainly left the place absolutely stuffed. My table's favorite item was the kale. Something about it was just cooked and flavored so perfectly. I also highly recommend you try the chocolate dessert bun. It was very entertaining. The only thing is the line to get in there is super long. The waitlist system is a little flawed if booking for a group larger than 4 people, luckily they were able to switch our reservation upon arrival

Ramy's service was amazing !!!! I have Celiac desease (intolerant to Gluten) and he made sure that every precuation was taken to make my meal safe, he also did with a smile on his face. Thank you. On top of that my sandwitch and salad were tasty.
