Went out with my team for a business dinner and had amazing experience! Hats off to our server Dominic, he's was beyond professional while being knowledgeable about allergy restrictions. He was well informed about cross contamination and offered my colleague different gluten free options. So refreshing! Next time I am in Columbus, I will be booking a reservation 🩷
If you are looking for a good brunch spot I give this place 2 thumbs up! I had a Bloody Mary which was served with a skewer of meat cheese & an olive. The drink itself wasn't too spicy but could of had a bit more vodka in it!
I ordered the breakfast BLT which was delish. I was able to get vegan cheese on it since it was available upon request. They so have a decent about of dietary options including vegan, vegetarian & gluten free. Make sure to let the waiter/waitress know. Our group all ordered something different which was nice to see it was all enjoyed.

My wife and I will be making this a goto when we are in Columbus, which is several times a year. We were here for the weekend and had dinner on Friday. It was soo good and the atmosphere is relaxing, we went back for lunch on Sunday before heading back home. The smoked salmon is amazing, and the wife dreams about the gluten-free fish and chips. I wish we had a Pearl in Cleveland!!
I’ve been gluten free for 20 years and I was so excited to have a place to eat that almost the whole menu was gluten free! I had fried cheese curds to share at the table, the gf lobster roll, and gf hush puppies. Everything was seasoned perfectly and delicious! What a gem!
My husband and I went to The Refectory last night and had a wonderful experience. Our server Lisa was very personable and did such a wonderful job educating us about the dishes offered and drink selections. The Refectory operates differently than most Ohio/US restaurants. It's recommended to order all courses ahead of time as they are small batch. We ordered 4 courses and even though the plates are smaller than "normal" we were pleasantly stuffed at the end of our meal.
To note, courses do come out at a slower, more European pace. Our entire dinner took 2.5 hours. I highly enjoyed the slow pace, it gave us more of a chance to slowly savor our dishes and really connect.
The escargot is more in a loaf type form and comes with a garlicky sauce that is just amazing. Not pictured is the soup I had which was the vegetarian, which was deliciously simple but definitely warming. My husband had the shrimp that had a lovely bright vinaigrette followed by the arugula salad. The arugula paired with the pancetta (I think) was delicious as the fat cut the sharpness of the arugula.
For my main course I had the sturgeon which I highly recommend. It was meltingly soft and the potatoes/vegetables provided a contrasting crunch. My husband had the duck which he highly enjoyed, the cherry sauce had a tartness he enjoyed but I did not particularly care for.
Dessert we both chose the creme brulee. The grand marnier was a nice change from a standard vanilla, it was beautifully silky and paired so well with probably the BEST latte I have ever had.
There were a few items I'm going to grumble about but really are minor and not worth detracting any stars: I have celiac and the gluten free bread basket at $5 extra was rather disappointing. It looked like regular sliced sandwich bread that was cut in diagonals. I'll skip the bread next time as Cameron Mitchell restaurants, Cooper's Hawk and others have better to offer.
The other grumbly item is the lack of dessert options for someone with celiac. I could choose between the creme brulee or I believe a sorbet. Dessert is my absolute favorite course so this was disappointing. It's the reason we'll come back maybe once or twice a year, but probably not more.
The food and service were amazing, with many gluten-free and vegetarian options for those with dietary needs. The serving sizes are on the smaller side, which we preferred because we were able to finish our meals without being too full. The many of the vegetables that come with the main courses are shredded, which disappointed my mom. My mom slso ordered one of the house wines, which she said was not the best. Our server was very attentive without being overbearing and managers take the time to make sure everyone is enjoying the food, but we did wait around 40 minutes for our food.
The atmosphere is VERY noisy and can quickly overstimulate people with sensory sensitivity, like myself. My parents typically do not get overstimulated and they even said it was too noisy.
It was super easy to make reservations using Open Table!
Overall, the food was good, but the atmosphere was way too noisy and we had to wait a while for our food.
Nothing compares to the entire experience of dining at Jeff Ruby’s! I went with my family about a month ago and can’t wait to go back. Everyone was extremely friendly and professional and the food was fantastic. Our server, Patrick was awesome. They even accommodated my gluten intolerance and made some yummy mocktails since I don’t drink.
Super yummy! I am gluten free and I was really craving pizza. I couldn't find a place that sounded good to me and was worth what they were charging, until South Village Grille.
I have wanted to go for a while now but finding out they had gluten free pizza crust was what sealed the deal! And when I say it was good I mean it! The crust tasted exactly like a normal thin crust pizza! It was wonderful and worth every penny.
The best chips in the… world??????
They have THE best chips. I know, crazy to say the chips are the best thing on the menu but omg, they’re that good.
We got a pizza which was also very very good and celiac safe! But the chips still outshined. To be GF, we got the chips with the spinach artichoke dip instead of the baguette it usually comes with and I mean I think it’s my fave appetizer in the city now.
Also I got the huckleberry mule WOW it was amazing! Dangerously good!!! So sweet and like a blue raspberry slushy type flavor but ya know, a huckleberry mule.
If you’ve never had huckleberry, it’s a delicious sweet tart berry native to the US north west, namely Montana. And when I go to Montana I get huckleberry everything because it’s so good and rare here to the Midwest. So that was a real treat!!!
Service was so good too! I didn’t get our servers name but he was just the best and so kind!
God bless Cameron Mitchell for supporting the GF community. It really does mean the world to me as silly as that sounds. It’s so liberating and life changing to be able to go to a restaurant and order really anything I want and not just a salad w no crutons.
Btw parking is in the garage across the street (short north garage) or there’s another garage down the road (Lincoln) parking isn’t bad, we spent $10 and it’s really close to the building. Parking thankfully was really easy. Not that Lincoln Social has any control over the parking regardless, but it’s nice that a garage is close!
Good service! The Chicken Marsala was exceptional! My child got a huge hamburger with a gluten free bun. Also, the artwork throughout the restaurant was beautiful. It was a very special occasion, and this restaurant was perfect our occasion.
Discovered on our way home and was ever so glad we did. The food was delicious and the service was great. My wife has to have a gluten free diet and Kay's had many options including deserts for her
Had an excellent experience here! Staff was very friendly and attentive. They have a large menu and everything we ate was delicious and creative. Most exciting, they were incredibly accommodating for gluten allergies with GF soy sauce, a dedicated gluten free menu, and substitutions available on most items from the normal menu.
Absolutely loved our first visit to this restaurant! Hannah not only provided amazing service and mixed great drinks, but she made this experience complete by providing awesome suggestions to tailor my meals to be gluten free. This place has a pretty decent GF menu already to choose from, but the ability to modify meals expands this menu further.
The atmosphere was calm and enjoyable. Definitely a place we'll be going to again! Thanks!!!!
The food was wonderful. My friend is gluten free and found several delicious options to choose from. Our server was Kristin P and went above and beyond two cater to preferences. Her personality made the whole experience delightful. This was my first time add Bonefish grill. I will definitely come again!
Our server was excellent but the food was NOT good. Never received our soup, my granddaughters’s gluten and dairy free burger came out on a bun with cheese. Then when it was replaced the burger for a 6 year old came out almost rare. My asparagus was completely overcooked and the garlic potatoes were bland and tasteless. I couldn’t even eat them.
The food was on point. My wife, who has a gluten allergy acquired as a result of having her appendix removed, found many gluten-free options and settled on some big salad with shrimp and crab. She enjoyed it immensely. I had the Crawfish Platter with a side of Red Beans and Rice. The Red Beans and Rice was heavy on the rice and light on the Red Beans, in my opinion, so I added the Crawfish Etoufee to it and made it an exceptional side dish. As a result of the heart meds I've taken for seven years, I am now also diabetic, (thanks Big Pharma), so I had salad and water all week. Thus, when I was presented with Pecan Pie I decided to risk it. The pie was a good choice for my taste buds, and my disposition. Not so sure if it was for my kidneys, but Monday begins a new week so salad with oil and vinegar and water with lime awaits. Lastly, Amber was excellent. She fielded my many questions and requests with a smile, offered suggestions when I got my list of potential entrées down to four, and kept my un-sweet tea glass full. Thank you Amber, hope you don't mind if we request you on our next visit.
The food was pretty good, not the best I've ever had, but good. The service was exceptional. Emily was a fantastic server who treated my child like an actual person and not an annoyance. The manager checked on our table twice, AND they had a gluten free brownie on the dessert menu, which was fantastic. The hand crafted martinis were great, and the whole staff treated a single mother with her toddler with respect, which is sadly extremely rare to find in a restaurant. We will definitely be coming back.
Really appreciate that some items are marked gluten free on the menu and prepared with care. Very nice space with pleasant outdoor seating, diverse menu with something for everyone (including kids).
Friendly and calming atmosphere, food is always so good!! And they gave gluten free pasta! I had the Carbanara gluten free and it was so good!!!!! Creamy delicious and flavors on point!!
My wife loves it but I'm not that big of a fan. It's mostly because of limited options for us. She has to be gluten free/dairy free because of health issues. You would think that a place that has a burger could get a Gluten Free bun. Also, the sides are limiting too. Execution on dishes (that we can eat) has been really inconsistent.
We had the most wonderful experience, and we're super grateful for all of the gluten free and gluten sensitive options. Only four stars because the French Onion Soup and the Scallops & Maine Lobster Risotto were just way way too salty. Everything else was delicious!

My only complaint as a celiac is that Red Lobster still uses ingredients that have not moved an inch in the direction of their celiac clients. Disappointing, but they are consistent at least. They still serve a pleasant experience however, and whenever they add more items back to their menus (they still use covid as an excuse) perhaps they can think about their preparation approaches as well.
This place at lunch sucks. Have a gluten and dairy allergy and they said i can’t have a different salad dressing than caeser even though they have it in house, waitress was also rude.

The service was great, and the food was excellent! We ordered a seafood dish and a steak, both of which were well prepared and delicious. We will definitely be returning!
Last Thursday after the farmers market my group of friends (3) decided to go to Rosaria’s for dinner. They didn’t have a wait we sat at a table right away. But We were there for 2 and half hours! We understood when we first got there it was a little busy due to the farmers market but to be there for more than 2 hours is crazy!! Especially after the farmers market I bought cheese and vegetables that were going bad for waiting for so long. I asked for the chicken Alfredo but I stated I didn’t want fettuccine noodles. I could have any kind of noodle like spaghetti, bow tie, corkscrew etc… when the waiter brought my out dish he gave me gluten free pasta in a fettuccine shape which I didn’t ask for. I thought I was very clear I didn’t like fettuccine noodles. Then each member of my party asked for a box for leftovers the waiter only brought one. We had to ask again for more. Then we ordered dessert to go. The waiter brought our dessert to dine in and we asked again for it to go. It took 20 mins to get the dessert to go. Once we received our dessert to go we waited 20 minutes for our bill. Then once we put our cards in it took another 20 minutes to get our cards back to sign for our check. The service was so slow and when we were waiting for our check there were maybe 3-4 tables. Our waiter next asked if we wanted refills on our water or cocktails. Service was so slow it makes me never want to stop back in.
Samia was our server. She is awesome! I am celiac and she is very knowledgeable about what is and isn’t gluten free. She even knew that soy sauce is not gluten free. Not many servers know that. She is one of the best servers I’ve experienced at any restaurant.
Oh and the orange salmon is delicious. The menu states that it is gluten free which it is but it also includes rice. Samia is the one that informed me that the rice is not gluten free. Side note - rice should be taken off the menu as a side for the orange salmon. Just saying. 😊
All of our food was excellent! From the appetizers to dessert. The blackened scallops were our favorite, we will be ordering at least two servings next visit. I have celiac disease and they were very accommodating. Our waitress Sarah was very knowledgeable of my gluten free options. Overall, this was an excellent experience, I would highly recommend.
Spending a few days in Cleveland and wanted a lake view dining experience. Pier W was the answer 100%. The excellent food and service was tied with the beautiful view of the lake. Lots of seating with a lake view. The Halibut special was outstanding and modified for my gluten-free diet. Kevin, our server was attentive and knowledgeable. Can’t wait to go back.
