It's a confectionery style, with gluten-free options. Everything is very good. Nice waitress. Advisable. We will return to try another gluten-free sweet.
We must be grateful that these types of sites are opened, really, but this one still has a lot of room for improvement.
The variety of products is very limited and the prices are very high. For sporadic consumption, you can buy a loaf of bread and a piece of bwronie, but if you want to serve it on a daily basis to people who cannot eat gluten, it is not viable.
They have mini chuscos the size of a hand, mini round breads, brownies and mini chocolate chip cookies. They also sell pasta and teas from other suppliers at high prices.
They don't give you a ticket, you don't know the price of the bread, the brownies, or the cookies... so I can't add how much each item was.
I know these types of products are more expensive than usual, but there is a line between being in the market and taking advantage of those who cannot eat anything else.
I thought I had room in Elche to buy gluten-free, but I don't think so.
Everything is wonderful. From the service, atmosphere and friendliness. If you already have celiac disease, it's a ten, being able to eat without fear. All very good
Not suitable for celiacs.
They advertise some gluten-free dishes on their menu, but they are prepared without considering cross contamination and generally don't have much knowledge. They were not very decisive in offering gluten-free alternatives. I was offered several "gluten-free" dishes with great confidence, even though they were garlic bread or battered vegetables.
I was only able to have a plate of salad, even though when I called on the phone they told me that there would be no problem and that they were very careful. To make matters worse, they buy reviews by offering a free bottle of wine or dessert in exchange.
Wonderful in the treatment and in the preparation of homemade products. The croquettes, delicious and gluten-free, I have celiac disease. They have a menu, but we wanted to eat a poke type dish. Great! A super extensive letter. I'm a water person, but my husband ordered an Altea beer and was delighted.
Ideal for celiacs! 🤗
You can eat practically everything without cross-contamination. The portions are generous, and everything is very, very tasty. We ordered the meat medium rare, which they achieved in many places, and the gluten-free bun is perfectly edible without making you choke because the burgers are so juicy. The place is really pretty and has a cozy, calm, and pleasant atmosphere. The service in the kitchen and dining room is fast, and the waitresses are very pleasant and professional. The desserts are also delicious, and it's very worthwhile to order from the menu. We will definitely be back! 🫶🏻
We were there for my partner's birthday. There were about 12 people. The service was excellent, and despite the delay, we didn't have any problems.
I'm very grateful for the understanding.
Plus, the burgers are amazing. I'll definitely be back. The gluten-free option they have for celiacs is also very good.
I've visited El Granero on several occasions for business lunches and have always been very satisfied with the food and service, which have been excellent. However, on this last occasion, the experience was quite disappointing.
I booked a table for seven people three days ago, including a child with celiac disease, and was assured they had a special menu for him. When we arrived, we were informed that there were no gluten-free croquettes, despite having previously confirmed this, and they served him ham instead. I understand that unforeseen events can arise, but it was an unpleasant surprise.
During the meal, the service was very slow, and the waiters seemed somewhat disgruntled, which detracted from the experience. Furthermore, we were told there was no hamburger left for the child and he could only choose chicken breast, which is also understandable.
When dessert arrived, we asked if the ice cream was gluten-free. The waiter checked with the kitchen again and confirmed that the gluten-free options were only vanilla and chocolate. We chose chocolate ice cream, but they brought us one with cookies on top. When we pointed this out, the waiter apologized and the meal was immediately changed.
It's important to note that celiac patients don't choose to follow a gluten-free diet; they have an autoimmune disease that requires special care. On this occasion, we felt those needs were not respected. Furthermore, the child expressed feeling left out because he didn't have his full menu and they tried to poison him with the ice cream and cookies.
Despite having had good experiences in the past, this visit was a disaster for my family. I hope they can improve their attention to special needs and how they handle unforeseen events in the future.
I had this restaurant planned to visit for years and the opportunity had not arisen until yesterday when I was finally able to visit it. Two of us went with a prior reservation and the truth is that it did not disappoint me at all. The place is very nice and large, it has an open kitchen glazed on one side. The menu is very original and has gluten-free, vegetarian options and something for all tastes. We ordered some tequeños, a salad and a pizza (with a gluten-free base) to share. We were too full (we asked for half a pizza to take away) to order dessert but from what we could see, the desserts all looked incredible. I will definitely return another time to continue trying more options from their menu. I also highlight the service because it was very attentive and friendly at all times. I found the quality-price ratio very good.
Spectacular food, super friendly waiters, and gluten-friendly food. They even had gluten-free croquettes!
If you have celiac disease, I highly recommend this place. 🥰
I have been here several times and it is one of the best restaurants in Elche, everything is super good, with incredible vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options (practically the entire menu). Today the waiter Juan served us and he was very kind and polite, an incredible experience ❤️🩹
I have been a client for years. At this time, due to medical reasons, I cannot eat gluten and to my surprise, despite charging a €2 supplement for a gluten-free pasta dish (I understand that this type of pasta is somewhat more expensive), what really surprises me is the small amount of pasta they serve in the gluten-free portion compared to the gluten-containing portion. This has happened to me three times now and I have felt like a second-class diner paying more than anyone else. I hope they improve this aspect.
I'm a celiac and I've tried several gluten-free dough places (there aren't many places where they actually have it) and I have to say that this is without a doubt the best I've ever tried! They make it to your liking and on paper so it doesn't contaminate. I'm really not going to try more, I'll stick with these forever!
The service is excellent, they have vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options.
Honestly the atmosphere is phenomenal and everything was very good.
Bonus: the bathroom mirror xd
I give it 3 stars because they have sometimes failed with the Gluten Free dishes and my co-worker has gotten sick because he has celiac disease... They have some salads that are delicious, prices are not enough to eat there every day, they really live off Tempe customers
My brewery since I was very young, beers of all kinds and very good prices.
They even have several gluten-free options!
Large terrace with tree shadows and good atmosphere
A spacious site and above all with great attention to older people like me who are not familiar with how to choose the menus.
I was treated with great professionalism by an employee (Irene) who knew how to guide me on how to request a gluten-free menu, with accessories for celiacs. A place where their friendliness of treatment was added to comfortable facilities, with products compatible with those of us who are celiacs.
We recently discovered this gastronomic gem located in the heart of the Heart of Jesus in Elche. They had recommended it to us and it was a great success. Beautiful decoration and atmosphere, good presentation of the dishes, very good quality/price ratio and excellent service. One thing that should be noted for people with celiac disease is that they adapted the gluten-free menu to me (including the desserts, which by the way, were delicious!!!), something that I value very much. We will repeat without a doubt.
Thanks to Marga for her great welcome, very delicious and well prepared food, I have celiac disease and they deal with the issue of pollution very well, I will return without hesitation when I pass through Elche
The gluten-free food was delicious, however, the prices on the digital menu they offer are outdated, which is why I'm giving it two stars. Everything else was very good.
We decided to book for a special occasion, emphasizing both through the booking app and by calling two weeks beforehand that one of the guests had celiac disease. We called back two hours before the reservation to confirm everything was correct. Upon our arrival, they told us they couldn't adapt the tasting menu to our needs, and after reviewing the menu, there was almost nothing gluten-free. Truly a disappointment, they ruined the special evening we had planned.
We've always had good food, but this time we went with a celiac patient, and they really knew what we were talking about at all times. They adapted dishes and even had gluten-free bread for the sandwiches.
As always, the service was top-notch, with great attention and friendliness, and the food was fantastic.
An ideal place for a celiac who wants a good sandwich.
Very good food, excellent service, and knowledgeable gluten-free options. Pleasant, air-conditioned atmosphere (we had dinner inside) during a heat wave. Highly recommended.
Quiet place, with a pretty good lunch menu. In our case we ordered fideua and rice, and they were served in paella pans that were quite large for individual portions, and best of all: freshly made.
It is also a recommended place for celiacs since you can notify them and they make sure that the dishes do not contain gluten.
We went to have some beers and ended up eating. Good sandwiches with vegan and lactose-free options.
Very varied and delicious desserts, most of them gluten-free and lactose-free.
The staff very friendly and attentive.
We will return for sure!
