The great menu here that offers and highlights each vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-friendly options is great. I loved the tomaro soup and sweet potato chips.
The back ground music is very loud both inside at accessible tables and out door accessible tables. Indoors they also offer a full bar with high top car seats and 2 TVs.
Accessible entry and exit with several single and double doors, which made finding the his read a bit of a challenge. Outside accessible men and women restrooms with accessible sink, grab bars, and more than 5ftx 5 ft space
Free van accessible grave parking for Midtown venues
I was reassured that "everything except pasta" is basically gluten free. I questioned the sweet Thai sauce on the bowl. It was very good, but if you isn't a gluten allergy beware! I am in stitches, throwing up and super sick within an hour of eating there.
We had a team holiday luncheon and it was excellent. Everyone enjoyed the entrees, especially the salmon and scallops. The appetizer flatbreads and meatballs were good starters. They had an excellent gluten free menu. We had a lovely table in the middle of the restaurant but it was quite noisy due to busyness of the restaurant and we had difficulty hearing each other.
Fantastic gluten free options. Gluten free bread was incredible. Lewis Walker was our was our waiter and he was awesome. So glad we came here for dinner. Great meal, great service and so very pretty!!! We will be back!!!!
Fantastic!! We were seated immediately on a busy night, and the food was amazing. The Cobb salads and gluten free pizza were super fast, and our server was truly great. I was pleasantly shocked by the service and incredible food here!
I told our waiter that I cannot have gluten as it will make me very sick. I told him five different ways since it was so important. Well, my food was not gluten free as I was sick after in a full gluten attack. It makes my stomach hurt so bad and I had to miss a day of work, which effects my income. I've decided to not dine out anymore because restraurants just don't care and don't take it serious and give the consideration necessary even when the menu says gluten free. Do not eat here if u can not have gluten, because u will regret it.

Nice cozy romantic atmosphere, server had a little bit of an attitude when asking about different whiskeys and meal options, which was off putting but the food was delicious overall and the Bohemian raspberry drink was fantastic. Wish they'd have had more gluten free options but its understandable. Candied bacon is actually more like Canadian bacon so just be aware if that bothers you, it's thick cut more like ham chunks. The dutch was like a philly and very good. Highly recommend a flight. My friends said duck wings were so good.
Great burgers and fries! We had the POX and and the Royal with gluten free buns. These are some of the best burgers we have had in a while and the seasoned fries were delicious and GF as well. Service staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Overall a great place to eat at the airport.
I had the chance to return to the restaurant after Adam reached out about my last experience, and I’m so glad I came back.
The service was amazing. Adam sent me a lovely email, making sure my next visit would be fantastic, and it really was!
As soon as we arrived, we were seated right away. Our server, James, was the best—so friendly and genuine! He made sure we had everything we needed, offered great recommendations, and even provided separate plates for my gluten-free meal; as we decided to try the Guacamole ( was so yummy) — I really appreciated he was really accommodating, as I’m trying to take care of my health.
The manager, Josh, was super caring, and I loved that another manager came by to check on us, too. I ordered the “al carbon,” and my husband went for a wet burrito. Everything was incredibly fresh, and the portions were huge! I also tried a dragon fruit mojito and Coco mojito, both of which were delicious.
I can’t thank the staff enough for their wonderful service. We’ll definitely be back soon for the happy hour deals and we hope to see James and Josh again! thanks again for making this for us!
If you’re looking for a dining experience that feels like a warm hug from the ocean, look no further than Ocean Prime in Tampa! From the moment we stepped through the doors, we were greeted with smiles that could light up the entire Gulf Coast. The service here is not just exceptional; it’s like having your own personal cheerleader for the evening!
Now, let’s dive into the culinary treasures we enjoyed! We kicked things off with the shrimp cocktail, which was a delightful selection of ocean-fresh shrimp that practically danced off the cup. Each succulent bite was a celebration of the sea, perfectly chilled and served with a zesty cocktail sauce that had us saying, "More, please!"
Next up were the cocktails: the spicy dirty martini and the black orchid. The martini had just the right kick to awaken our taste buds, a spicy and smooth little number that kept us on our toes. And oh, the black orchid! This cocktail was as beautiful as it was delicious—a floral masterpiece that made us feel like we were sipping on a sunset. Seriously, if you’re not Instagramming this drink, are you even living?
For the main event, we indulged in the scallop risotto and a perfectly cooked filet. The risotto was creamy and dreamy, with scallops so tender they practically melted in our mouths. Each bite was a heavenly reminder of why we love dining by the sea. And the filet? Cooked to perfection—juicy, flavorful, and seasoned just right. It was like a culinary hug from a medium rare steak!
As we savored every last bite, the service continued to impress. Our server was attentive without being intrusive, always ready with a recommendation or a witty quip that made the evening even more enjoyable. It felt like we were dining with friends rather than just staff. Oh, and they were so accommodating for my gluten allergy and even had fluffy gluten free bread!
In a nutshell, Ocean Prime in Tampa is a must-visit for anyone looking to indulge in an exquisite culinary experience!
Top 3 best fish/ Cod of my life! Very accommodating to our gluten and soy allergies. Matthew was absolutely incredible, so patient, sweet, and knowledgeable. Will definitely be returning!
This place used to be so amazing their brunch was 5/5 and used to be more allergen friendly. That is no longer so. You have to make your mimosas yourself now. Also, it’s no longer bottomless, it’s by the bottle - which isn’t a huge deal but when you’re constantly having to ask for juice (they only give you enough for one or two mimosas at a time (for the TABLE) it’s just annoying. If I’m making mimosas I’d rather do it at home. At least it won’t be $50 for the bottle.
Service is SLOW. Expect to be here for a while. If you have allergies don’t go, I am allergic to gluten and dairy and used to get hangover hash and the kitchen was willing to work with you…. Not the case anymore. Again. Don’t go. You’ll have 3 things to choose from. Shrimp cocktail, oysters or an eggs and a fruit bowl. I ended up getting shrimp and oysters because if I had to go out and eat another fruit bowl I’d lose it. It didn’t matter it was cross contaminated. Would not recommend going here. It was $100 down the drain. Literally.
Asked for a bacon egg and cheese on a gluten friendly bun since all of the other sandwiches included fried chicken/gluten containing items. Was told I couldn't get the bacon egg and cheese because it was 5 minutes past breakfast ending. Explained that I had an allergy and it was the only thing i could eat on the bun and she still wouldn't give it to me because it was 10:35 instead of 10:30. Just bad service truly, had to eat chips instead. 0/10
Tiona was so nice, and super helpful in my need to eat gluten free. The manager (blonde lady with glasses) was also super nice and came out to discuss my dietary needs and reassure of my selections. I had just landed in town for work, and I greatly appreciate a restaurant with good options, and even more so with employees who actually show concern and try to help! This was an excellent experience.
Oystercatchers is hands down my favourite waterfront restaurant in Tampa.
I’ve always enjoyed its stunning sunsets and breathtaking views, making it perfect for date nights or special occasions.
The ambiance is relaxed yet elegant, and the service is top notch every time.
As someone who’s gluten free and dairy free, I appreciate how the chef always accommodates my dietary needs without fail,
I’ve never had an allergic reaction.
Whether you’re celebrating or just enjoying a casual meal, this place never disappoints!
Walked in on St Patty's Day. Lunch in a booth facing the TVs over the bar. Great service, explained the menu and really know about the food. Gluten free option for the 2 folks in the group that needed it.
Tasty food. We saw the online menu with pics. My daughter eats gluten free. It’s nice when restaurants make the effort to have options and label their menu with GF options.
My only complaint is that the menu board in the store doesn’t have pics, like the online menu.
So this is a mixed bag review. :)
Gluten Free: We'll start with the gluten free (GF) aspect - my wife requires it to keep from being ill. We had Cedric I as our server. He paid attention to detail and ran to the back if we had a specific question about something. If you don't have a food allergy, this is not something you expect, but when you do need it, it's great to have someone like Cedric.
Food: We started with apps - crab cocktail (HUGE pieces of crab!) that was GF. Very good. I had the smoked bacon app - not sure I would get it again (seemed very fatty, but I'm sure that's the way it's supposed to be). For dinner we had the Seabass (awesomely thick fish) that was GF and oh so tasty! My wife could actually eat their Au Gratin - something she hasn't had access to in decades!!! It also was delish. My filet mignon, supposed to be medium well, came out quite red, but was still very good and cooked, just not as much as expected. We were brought a great GF dessert too.
Price: For two of us, no drinks, no paid desserts, our meal came to about $100/pp before tip. Expected in this truly nice establishment.
Reservations: Recommended, but VERY easy to do on-line.
Down side: During the entire first part of our meal we were subjected to a VERY LOUD screaming young child - we heard later they were teething. That said, "you couldn't hear yourself think", let alone carry on a conversation - it was constant and again, VERY LOUD. My wife and I have had several children and recognize it was not the child's fault. But the parents should have called it a night - this is a very nice restaurant where people are paying a ton of money to have a nice time. I think partly this might be related to the fact that this restaurant is adjacent to a mall. Not sure this happened, but we envisioned that the family was shopping, or went to the movies, then needed something to eat and didn't realize this was supposed to be a high end establishment. At least I hope it was something like that. We thought that if this great place were on it's own lot, or in a restaurant dedicated area, things may have been different. That said, we are not blaming the restaurant on any of this - the food, atmosphere, and service will still have us returning at another time. It's truly great. Sorry for the long post.
This visit was an extravagance compared to our normal outings as it was our anniversary. We made our reservation online and noted from a checklist that was our reason for visiting Charley's. This was not overlooked from the hostess at the front desk all the way to the complimentary sundae at the end of our meal.
Our server, John, was knowledgeable and attentive to our needs; including my wife's gluten sensitivity. We enjoyed a blue crab martini appetizer, two wonderfully tender steaks cooked to steakhouse medium rare perfection and a couple glasses of a Napa Valley Cabernet recommended by John.
As I said, it was an extravagance to spend that much on a single meal for ourselves, but I would highly recommend Charley's for special occasions, business meetings or for anyone whose budget supports this kind of indulgence.
Great little spot for dinner. Despite being both Gluten Free, Keto, and Dairy Free I was still able to get something pretty tasty and healthy. Their Keto street bowl was good without cheese, but I imagine it would have been even better with it. All the ingredients were fresh and cooked to order.
When I arrived at the airport I was hungry, but I have celiac disease and have to be very careful with what I eat. Normally I would have packed a sandwich, but didn't have the time to do so. I reluctantly asked the hostess at this restaurant if they have gluten free options. To my surprise, she handed me a gluten-free menu. When the waitress, Kristina, came to my table, I explained that I'm a very sensitive celiac and asked her how diligent the staff was with allergies. She brought my concerns to the manager, Terry, who chose to personally cook my meal. I was so happy that they took such care to make sure my flight would be safe for me. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this restaurant to anyone and everyone, including the most sensitive celiacs!
The Blind Tiger is a staple here in Tampa and as someone who does not frequent any malls locally or otherwise, it was a freakin’ delight to step foot into International Plaza and see this smaller variant in place of what used to be a Starbucks.
The baristas are super friendly and the coffee / treats we got were equally on par! I went with a Dirty “Thaiger” cookie and my wife got the Almond Pistachio, which is their gluten free cookie option. Both tasted amazing as they are slightly chilled for maximum freshness!
My wife ordered a match latte with no sweetener and I ordered a Ice Caramel Latte with almond milk and half a pump of flavoring; my wife and I are both on a health journey and look to maximize food that fuels us rather than bogging us down.
Blind Tiger, we love you and thanks for being in this maze of a mall. 🐅🐅
I was looking for a small ice cream, and stumbled upon this quaint Gelato place. What's Gelato? It's an Italian ice cream made with Fresh ingredients. The great part is everything is gluten free, they also had lactose free options. I WOULD GO BACK
Amazing service and excellent food! NEVER thought I'd say this but the gluten free bread is actually good and I highly recommend you try it atleast once.
