It’s bizarre that this place doesn’t offer a nut-free strudel, even though they have about 20 different kinds. They do consider gluten-free options — although they didn’t have any available at the time either. What bothered me most was the way it was handled: I asked if the strudels contained nuts, and got a careless response — “I don’t know…” Only then did she think to ask her colleague whether any of them contained nuts.

A hostess will greet you and hand you cards which you'll use to make your orders. For this, you will find a sit, and then go to the different counters available depending on what you want to order. You might need to queue in more than one counter if you want pasta and pizza, for example, but due to the variety, queues tend to be short. At the counters you'll be handed a device that will vibrate once your order is ready, and you'll pay on your way out. I guess the self serving concept does help keep the prices down, though you will be asked at check out if you desire to leave a tip, even though you're doing the service part on your own. Food: We had pizza Ruccola e capricciosa. They were both good but not impressive. Extra points for a decent gluten free base, although they were a little bland altogether. I also had the cheesecake nutella (not gluten free) and it was actually delicious, not too sweet as I imagined. Definitely a great way to end the meal with a nice espresso.

The Kaiserschmarrn? Unbeatable! Light, caramelly, simply the best we've ever eaten! We would particularly like to highlight the chef and the waitress – both were so warm, attentive and just lovely. You immediately feel welcome! The open fireplace created an incredibly cozy atmosphere - and in summer the large terrace with a fantastic view invites you to linger. I spent two nights at the UALM and was impressed by the hygiene: The shared toilets, showers, and sinks were always clean. The same was true of the room. Unfortunately, the balcony had to be shared with other guests—a small price to pay for the view. My only criticisms are the lack of trash cans in the room and the poor Wi-Fi reception in some corners. A sink in the room would have been useful. The food was very good: both the dinner and the breakfast buffet. I can recommend both. The selection at the breakfast buffet is impressive: in addition to classics like eggs and bacon, there were also salmon, brioche, and gluten-free pastry alternatives.

A * deduction for the mattresses covered in plastic sheeting, which made for a sweaty, restless night. Otherwise, we found the location very nice, the rooms very clean and comfortable, the breakfast and food selection extensive, and the service exceptionally attentive and always friendly. Our dog was welcome. Top: Gluten-free cakes, plant-based milk, and decaffeinated coffee for those with intolerances.

Is the best (wellness) hotel I have ever been to 🤩 The staff are very friendly, very helpful and attentive, but never intrusive! The staff are also very international and most of them have been there for several years, so they are not typical seasonal workers and they speak good to very good German. But you can tell when you talk to them that they enjoy it, they are really happy and cheerful at work and always have a smile on their faces. The rooms are very big, clean and depending on the location you have a great view of the mountains. The food is amazing (I still dream about it 😋🥰), the selection is so enormous, I have never seen such a big buffet, in the morning and in the evening and in the evening there is a buffet as well as the main courses à la carte. You can eat as much as you want. Above all, there is a lot of choice for everyone, whether meat, fish, cheese, vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, lactose-free, dessert including ice cream and gummy bears, fruit, salad, bread, cereals, fruit juices,.... But the main courses prepared by the chefs (à la carte) are also simply amazing for us, for us this food is clearly Gault Millau class!!! The spa area is enormous with several baths, saunas, fitness, massage and cosmetic area, children's area (external building where they can let off steam without disturbing other guests), but the best thing is that there are areas reserved just for hotel guests and normal day visitors are not allowed in. Because everything is so big, the number of people is spread out quite well and we therefore really enjoyed the silence during our visits. Massages are definitely recommended. The large massage team offer a huge variety of massages, so there is something for everyone. The hotel also offers daily activities such as hiking, visits to the Swarovski Museum, waterfalls, etc. In the afternoon, there's also a small snack corner in the saloon. The Aqua Dome is quite more expensive than other wellness and spa hotels, but you get a lot for your money, so it's worth investing a bit more. We will definitely go back 🥰

A cool stopover (be sure to check out the pictures towards the restroom, so many celebrity guests were there). The pictures are a bit reddish due to the red parasol. The food was perfectly fine. Unbeatable value for money. Unfortunately, they ask for cash, which I can partly understand, but I don't like having to carry money around all the time... The waitress, who reportedly has been there for 10 years, was pleasant, super nice, and warm. He even brought water for the dog. The atmosphere was okay; I just don't like loud Mallorca Ballermann music, but I guess that's part of being at an alpine hut. -> Big plus: every dish indicates whether it's vegetarian or gluten-free. In short: always worth a detour on the way down.
