I canāt recommend this cafe highly enough. For a coeliac person itās usually difficult to find good options but this cafe had it all! From the most delicious gluten free buttermilk pancakes to amazing breakfast options with gluten free bread! The staff were very friendly and helped make us feel at home, including giving some special attention to our 4 year old son.
Cozy spot with an authentic vibe, offering exceptional pasta and an impressive Italian wine selectionāperfect for lovers of good food and drinks!

Amazing coeliac experience during the lunch run! When telling the waitress, they clearly outlined which meals were not GF, which meals could be made GF by substitution or which were already GF. Before I even got to double check with another waiter who later took our order, he double checked regarding the need to have seperate pasta water. They then informed us to ensure that the GF pasta was cooked correctly, it would take a little while longer, but was no real issue and only a matter of minutes.
The Scallop Entree was also made GF and so were the gelatos we ate afterwards (lemon & rosemary, rhubarb & Cointreau and pistachio). All to die for!
Nil reactions, amazing quality and flavours, Fantastic knowledge regarding GF and cross contamination.
Exceptional service and a vast selection of beautifully crafted cakes and desserts make this spot a go-to for every special occasion.

Brilliant gluten free place with excellent staff.
STAFF: One call, minutes in and the man I spoke to was super accommodating, attentive and quick to respond. I ordered a gluten free cake, had a set budget, handed over money and prayed for a half decent cake.
THEY EXCEEDED MY EXPECTATIONS.
Was the cake to die for, nope but that's not what I think they market to. It was a solidly good gluten free cake my non gf friends liked.
I come from a chef-ing family and I tend to only eat Sebastien's gluten free pastries, so the bar is crazy high. I couldn't have made this cake for that price in that time period and that's what matters.
OVERALL: I'd definitely recommend them and would get a cake from them in future. Knowing this isn't to die-for gf cake with mind blowing cake decorating (sorry my Mum wins that award) but it definitely is a really solid place to get a good celebratory gf cake.
A hidden gem with a chill vibe, fresh juices, and a mix of vegan delights, perfect for a quick stop or a relaxed hangout.

Absolutely love this place. Everything is completely gluten free, and lots of things are also vegan-friendly. The veg pies are my favourite (and I'm saying that as someone who can eat regular pastry with gluten - these are still the best). I'm slowly making my way through the menu and everything is delicious. The owner and staff are the nicest people too. Highly recommended!
This cozy cafe just steps from a quiet beach offers an amazing variety of options for dietary needs, plus a vibrant atmosphere perfect for all.

I'm not even Coeliac, but their Sourdough is amazing. Cupcakes are spot on and the price point is also. I've been charged more for non gf "gourmet" cupcakes that taste dry. These cupcakes are moist and tasty with excellent consistency.

Gluten free fish - grilled, or for those who don't like batter are available The chips are cooked in a separate vat so there's no cross contamination but the chicken salt does contain gluten
The fish is delicious however, the calamari is divine It's crispy on the outside yet has soft & tender meat The fish also comes with lemon for those that appreciate that tangy addition
There is also hamburgers & other choices to choose from
This spot is a gem with a vibrant atmosphere, huge portions, and a menu that caters to everyoneās dietary needs!

This is the best cafe for coeliacs in Nelson Bay. Best eggs Benedict Iāve ever had. Southern style chicken burger and wagyu burger were both amazing - just remove the fries as they arenāt gluten free. Tons of gluten free options for Brekky and lunch on the menu. Staff is great / knowledgeable about coeliac restrictions and even better - the chef is coeliac. Also make sure to get any gluten free sweets they have - we tried the blueberry muffin, date & walnut bread, & coconut raspberry bread - all incredible and you canāt even tell itās gluten free. Canāt wait to come back here!
Experience a lively vibe with great decor and local drinks, plus live music on Sundays that makes it a must-visit spot.

So disappointing that everything nearly contains Canola oil, Canoga oil is so bad for you. I'd like to see gluten free spaces try to do gluten free in a healthy way.
Expect a welcoming vibe and a diverse menu with plenty of options, ensuring a delightful experience for everyone.

i have celiac disease and was pleased to see so many options on the menu. Our server insisted that the items we ordered were safe for me BUT shortly after my dinner I was in terrible pain and extremely sick. We ordered the gf options but iām certain they gave us non-gf (i havenāt had a dumpling that good in a long time). This was the only food I had that evening and iām familiar with what it feels like to be glutened. It turned my night into a horrid affair, not to mention itās a fairly pricy place only for me to get sick :(

Delicious burgers and chips that are safe for Coeliacs. Their chips are cooked in their own separate fryer so no cross contamination.

Delicious food, great friendly service and fabulous view. What more could you ask for.
Iām gluten free and there were quite a few good options for me.
Have been visiting this place for the menu choices. Low cal gluten free buns, fresh produce. The food tastes fresh. Expensive and usually comes out cold. The chips and sides are usually cold as well. Table service can be quite disappointing. Tables are not cleared when the staff are standing inside talking and dancing. The napkins in the holders are usually empty and not filled up until something is said. Most tables didn't get their drinks the day we visited.
This place offers delicious vegan ramen and unique gyoza in a vibrant setting, making it a must-visit for noodle lovers!

Everything is great if you don't have coeliac disease, I sent them a text message to book a table and ask if they could cater for a coeliac, they said YES.
So that YES was simply "I don't have the knowledge but let's give it a try", be aware that coeliac disease is not an allergy or intolerance, it is an autoimmune disease, so cross-contamination is no good for us either, it should be illegal in all restaurants.
Of course I got glutened and was sick for 5 days, apart from that, my small intestine will still be damaged, so no tries and more empathy.
I wrote them a message to let them know and they have left me in the dark.
I hope this review is of some use.
Quirky spot with unique dishes, cool ambiance, and delicious drinks; definitely worth checking out for a memorable experience!

Extremely poor service that did not attempt to cater for my gluten free dietary requirements nor have knowledge of what gluten is.
I waited in line to order my food and then was told I couldnāt order at the counter and had to order at the table. I then waited at the table (right in front of the counter), then had to ask for someone to come to take my order.
The same person from behind the counter came to take my order. I asked for the bacon & egg sandwich but on gluten free bread. When I mentioned it was for an allergy and to let the kitchen know, he responded with āitās got egg and cheese thoughā -which egg and cheese is not gluten.
I then had to educate him explaining cross contamination and that extra care gets taken with the cooking utensils. This is not usually an issue as Iāve eaten here before.
He then insisted that he couldnāt cater for me.
This server was rude from the moment I arrived and made something as simple as ordering a sandwich so difficult. I left and went elsewhere
