This place is awesome! Been here a few times now and everything holds up. Portions are huge. Even the tea they serve you isn't in tiny cups and a kettle; I got 3 full cups out of it. Their menu is 95% gluten free, I've taken my celiac girlfriend here twice and she loves it! Only thing is their water is not free, it comes in cans and is 75cents but I was happy with my tea. Love coming here!

Love this place. We live across the road and will surely spend way more money here then we should. I have a few dietary restrictions, but their gluten friendly burgers are great and I can always find something to eat.

I love that they have gluten-free options (jumbo waffles and more!). Breakfast is always good. Eggs and bacon were cooked perfectly, and having gf waffles was a huge treat. Service was prompt and she was very friendly.

I had the BEST brunch today at Red's Diner. They have plenty of options on the menu including vegetarian and gluten-free ones. I ordered the Montreal Smoked Meat Hash and it was scrumptious. I've never really liked hollandaise sauce but Red's does it so well that I ate all of it. The portion sizes are on par with the price. I left the restaurant pretty full and satisfied. The atmosphere is quite cozy and the waitresses were super friendly. I see why Red's Diner is so beloved in the community now!

As someone like me with celiac disease it’s not easy going out to eat. This is another place I trust. The server we had was extremely knowledgeable about the menu and what was safe to eat. She was explaining how her 11 year daughter also is celiac and we gave her plenty of recommendations on food that’s safe for her little one. Definitely give this place a try! Food is fantastic every time along with friendly staff. I’ve never had a bad experience here!!

Had the gluten free waffle and bacon and both were great. The waffle was an especially nice treat and was crunchy and soft and flavourful. I forgot to ask if the buckwheat pancakes were gluten-free but they looked good, maybe I'll try them next time.

This is my favourite burrito place in the city. As someone with a gluten allergy, it is so hard to find delicious tortillas. The tortillas here are the best. Every meal is packed with flavour! I come often with my family.

I have to work in the neighborhood for the next 5 months and I'm so grateful for this little restaurant to be so close by. They have so many options if you are gluten and dairy free and food items are modifiable which means I can have a great meal. I've had a few sandwiches, the coffee, a latte and their London Fog. All have been very good. Can't wait to dine in one day. Thanks so much for having options and friendly staff!

We highly recommend Phil’s on 17th, the food is always amazing and the service was fantastic. Special thanks to Suzanne our server. Suzanne and her team are very attentive. We enjoyed the delicious food, especially the Taco bowl and the variety of different gluten free options. Our favorite drinks are the mimosas 🥂. We always looking forward to the seasonal menu. The atmosphere is very unique and authentic. It could use some updates on the decorations like pictures and flowers arrangements but we love how Phil’s keeps the dining rooms original.

I've been a regular customer at this location, but my recent experience has left me deeply disappointed, particularly for those of us with celiac disease. The location has significantly declined in its commitment to providing a safe dining experience for gluten-friendly individuals. While the owner may take steps like changing gloves, using spoons, or fetching items from the back, his staff will not follow these practices. Instead of using the provided spoons for serving, employees are reaching into food containers with gloves that have just touched gluten products. This direct cross-contamination is a huge red flag for anyone who needs to avoid gluten. As someone with celiac disease, this experience was not just disappointing; I can no longer recommend this location to anyone looking for a reliable gluten-friendly meal.

I ordered takeout. I’ve done this often, as it was normally an okay spot for me to order food off of the GF menu. This last time was very different. There is no way my food was prepared in a gluten free manner. I haven’t been that sick in a very long time. I haven’t ever had an issue at this location before so this was very unexpected. I reached out to the location via their internal portal and got no reply. So I don’t think I’ll consider them a trusted spot to eat anymore. Very disappointed with the experience.

A very special thank you to Sam for her service today during the dinner rush. I have eaten here many times for lunch as I work nearby, but Sam is the first employee ever to pull fresh containers of veggies from the fridge to ensure zero cross contamination in my meal when I mention I had Celiac disease! This may seem so simple to some, but to a Celiac, it is HUGE! Eating out can be distressing and the extra care Sam took today really made my day! Thank you Sam!!

On the positive side: service is friendly, atmosphere is nice, food is tasty, and there are healthy options. In particular, they can accomodate various dietary restrictions like gluten free, vegan, vegetarian. However, I think the prices are high for what you get. I don't think I have ever paid more for food that is ordered at a counter fast food style. I think the owner should consider lowering his prices. It will squeeze the margins, but the margins are already on the high side for this business model. The profit will be more than made up for in volune.

OMG! So good. I have walked past this place hundreds of times and finally had breakfast there on Easter Sunday. Everything was fantastic: the server brought us coffee outside while we waited, wow. Inside it's such an authentic old diner with seating at the bar and a few booths. So cool. The chefs cook the food right in front of your eyes, it was fascinating to watch them work so hard. And the food itself is sublime! What an experience. One thing to note: due to them having 1 smallish grill I can't imagine they can cater to vegans or gluten intolerant people.

I preordered through SkipTheDishes, originally for 12 coworkers, including myself, for the next day. Shortly after I placed the order though, I needed to add one more item to it but Skip wouldn't allow it. I decided to reach out to DC directly and I'm so glad I did. I was very happy with my experience with them. They helped us out when SkipTheDishes wouldn't and promised the extra pizza. The owner, Sandeep, even called me the next day to ensure the order as promised. He was really friendly and professional; already making us feel like valued customers. On top of the excellent customer service, the food was delicious. 10/10. Our order included DC Specialty pizza, Italian Garlic pizza, Pepperoni, Hawaiian & Gluten-Free Tandoori pizza. Finally, I think it's really important right now to mention THEY OFFER DELIVERY. I was so disappointed in Skip not allowing me to add more to my order, which was making this local business loose a sale. I've been told by other local businesses that they don't really make a profit with their orders through Skip, like, at all. Some are lucky to break even. Although I didn't hear this through DC Pizza Bistro themselves, I wanted to point this out so the customers who want to support local businesses, can do so, as best as possible. Lots of local businesses offer delivery themselves - I will be sure to always check with them directly first, before using any multimillion 3rd party delivery app. Sandeep, thank you for your business! Wonderful food and service. Salvo served us and we were happy to hear he was from Italy as well. We were celebrating a birthday for a celiac and they had a signed card at the table. Also provided a gluten free dessert. Highly recommended for celiacs and meat lovers. The lamb and pineapple was the best!
