We've been to this OPH several times. The kids always enjoy it. The food is a bit heavy but I think that's why people go here.
So I can't have gluten, egg, or dairy which one would think would take almost all of the menu. In the past I have resigned myself to this and just taken the kids here to eat and fed myself later. Today though on the urging of friend I decided to inquire about what I could eat. The waitress sent out the manager and he kindly walked me through what my options were. He was very knowledgeable and quite helpful and I was able to get reasonable tummy friendly pancakes. He did warn me that they use ghee on the griddle and that he couldn't fix and for me that wasn't an issue.
So if you have stuff you can't have know that they can work with you to try and come up with something for you and it's worth a shot.

It's so great to have a restaurant in our town that so consistently creates and serves the community wonderful, fresh, sustainable, delicious food. And for someone who has to be gluten free, to be able to have something like the GF pumpkin pancakes of my last visit is the bomb.

Great experience here with celiac disease, visiting with a friend who also has celiac. We were both impressed by the confidence of the staff in describing the precautions they take when notified of gluten sensitivity, as well as their overall friendliness. Everything on the menu is gluten free besides the regular buns. Highly recommend!
Great atmosphere with unique upstairs seating, quick service, and a variety of options make it a must-visit spot for an enjoyable meal.

I had a great experience here with celiac disease. The server answered my questions confidently and personally walked me through the menu. They confirmed when bringing out the cauliflower appetizer that it had come from the dedicated fryer. I enjoyed a burger and tater tots. Highly recommend!
A charismatic owner serving outstanding and uniquely spiced delights that have swept folks off their feet! A must-visit!

Who thought with celiac disease you could go to a mall and be 100% safe to eat while you are out!! Not until today!! Food was delicious... Loved being able to get some fried food without worry of cross contamination. Everyone should try it... Even if you don't have a gluten problem! The cheese curds... Yum!!!

Amazing! Yes the food is unique but thatโs what makes this place so special. I always find it fascinating when people go to a place that actively advertises as no refined sugars or processed foods and then complain that it doesnโt taste like the rest of the junk they eat. There were many vegetarian options and as a person with celiac disease this place was perfect. I ate so much but felt good after since nothing was processed or junk. My only suggestion is that if you canโt go in with an open mind maybe just donโt go.
This spot is great for diverse diets, offering a chill vibe with tasty comfort food and a fantastic happy hour to sample various options.

The menu is rooted in Southern and Caribbean-inspired flavors, and everything is made with care. My personal go-to is the pulled chicken, which is juicy, tender, and perfectly seasoned. Pair it with the creamed jalapeรฑo spinach - a side dish so unexpectedly addictive that I now find myself ordering it every time, no matter what else I get.
The atmosphere is casual and welcoming, with a laid-back counter-service setup that somehow still manages to feel intentional and warm. Itโs the kind of place where regulars bring newcomers, knowing the food will speak for itself.
Other favorites include the slow-roasted pork, collard greens, and desserts. They are all flavorful, filling, and made to be mixed, matched, and shared. The portions are generous, and there are great options for gluten-free and dairy-free diners, too.
Brasa doesnโt try to be trendy or overcomplicated. It focuses on doing comfort food right. With quality ingredients, bold flavor, and heart, if youโre looking for a meal that hits all the right notes without trying too hard, this is it.

This unassuming little cafe is SO AMAZING! I travel across town just to eat here. I can't get enough of everything on their Gluten Free Menu - the pancakes are to die for, and I take home at least two of their scones, almond & lemon bars. (yes, they are ALL gluten free!) I am OBSESSED with this place ๐

We used Donatellis Catering for our wedding day, and they were amazing to work with. The tasting was a great experience; they provided one of every dish to try as well a few gluten free options since I am gluten free myself. They also had all their linen, silverware, plate, and cup options laid out to choose from. They were helpful in making decisions to keep our costs as low as possible, while still making sure we got everything we wanted! The food was buffet style at our wedding and we went with the Caesar Salad, Tortellini Carbonara, Mostaccholi, and Tuscan Chicken. It also included garlic bread and roasted vegetables! Everyone raved about the food and said it was one of the few times theyโve actually left a wedding full and satisfied with their meal. We were able to pick up the linens the day before to get them on the tables the next morning, and an employee of Donatelliโs stayed until the end of the night to take everything with them and help clean up. The next day they had all our leftovers boxed up and ready to be picked up at the restaurant! We couldnโt have asked for a better experience.
Expect a lively atmosphere with a range of healthy options, outdoor seating, and a mix of cuisines that makes for an inviting dining experience.

Iโve had much better tasting and textured gluten free and vegan selections elsewhere. I would not choose this place as my top option if I needed either of those as a serious accommodation. Pricing for the quality and the service was basically awful. My table got three drinks (two small hot teas and a small latte) and three cake slices and paid $45. The latte was up-charged $2 because I am lactose intolerant and ordered oat milk for it. I understand an up charge because the milk is typically more expensive than regular, but basically every other cafe for miles well out-competes a $2 extra charge. The most expensive Iโve seen locally before this was $1. In a perfect world allergy and intolerance accommodations would cost no extra, as people like me canโt really help wanting to live like others and have a little cafe latte that wonโt hurt us. When asked if I wanted a box I said I would, as I still had a half slice of cake left. No box was ever brought to my table and the waiter never mentioned it again even as we said goodbye to him and left. In fact, almost every interaction with the waiter was tinted with what seemed like haughtiness or disdain on his end. Maybe because we only came and sat for desserts and coffee/tea and therefore were not โhigh valueโ customers. Overall this place seems full of itself and really not worth the trouble and expense to have sub-par cakes and a cup of tea. Hoping this is a rare experience.
Enjoy a delightful escape at this elegant spot in the mall, where tasty house-made dishes and a vibrant atmosphere await you.

Another wonderful meal. We love this restaurant. The only negative i could say is that the salad came out like a minute before the meal but otherwise the meal was delicious. I love that they have a gluten free menu. I got to try the gluten free bead at the beginning of the meal which was really tasty. I'm just thrilled when a dining establishment accommodates my dietary restriction and allows me to feel a part of the normal experience. The local cider beer was nice and my significant other enjoyed his Manhatten. We finished with a wonderful creme Brule which was prepared perfectly. The ribs fell off the bone and were incredibly tender. My significant other had the north woods fish fry and said it was good even though the coating was different this time (not as crisp). The staff was friendly. This is one of the best establishments in the mall.

Incredible! In town for a quick overnight trip and found the smokehouse because they are the same family of resultants as Duluth Grill. There was a little bit of a wait on a Friday night.
They asked right away about allergies and were so informed. I have celiac and they have a separate kitchen space. I was so impressed.
The staff was kind, fun and prompt.
And the saladsโฆ.WOW!

This was my first visit to Capitol Grille and it was amazing! My friends and I went to celebrate my birthday and everything was great! Our server was super friendly and knowledgeable, answered all of our questions and let us know what was the gluten-free options for my friend who is gluten free. All of the food was super delicious and cooked to perfection, I would definitely recommend a trip to Capital Grille for a night out or to celebrate.

Great atmosphere inside and out. MVK patio is very dog-friendly. Service is friendly and fast. Our server wasnโt very knowledgeable about vegan options. We ordered the only vegan main course, ratatouille. Unfortunately, the vegetables were under cooked and the seasoning wasnโt anything special. The tahini carrots were also undercooked. The spring rolls are premade, so lacked the chewiness of fresh rolls - and cannot be ordered without cilantro ๐
We did enjoy our drinks and the vegan/vegetarian slider that was on HH special was very goodโฆ just wish they offered it on a gluten bun.
Overall, we wouldnโt recommend MVK for vegan fare, BUT I do recommend if you are looking for an attractive, dog-friendly patio with good drinks, friendly service and a social crowd.

Best burger I've had in a long time! I have celiac and finding places to eat is very difficult. They have a separate fryer for only French fries, which are honestly amazing.the burgers are juice and cooked great, and the gluten free buns are soft and really good. This is by far my favorite restaurant in the area, if not if all time.

Did Gluten Free okay. Server was nice but not having the best day. Asked the hostess if we could have a table instead of a booth. She said yes, then sat us at a booth and took off before we could say something. We had an elderly person with us who struggles getting in and out of a booth. Needed a chair... But we managed. Server dropped silverware that knocked the lemon off my iced tea glass. And people just left it on the floor... Employees were all just stepping over it. I was afraid someone would slip on the lemon so I ended up taking care of it. Not sure we will be back. Food was okay nothing special but the prices are above average.

I have Celiac disease and need to be sure the food is safe to eat so I don't get sick. Waitress was pushy and wouldn't answer my questions or was annoyed by my requests or clarifications, on top of being short with everyone else at the table. They replaced their gluten free flour for pizza crust with "washed wheat" and still call it gluten free, and they no longer have a dedicated oven for gluten free pizzas or dedicated kitchen space for gluten free items. I would not recommend eating here if you have food allergies because they will not accommodate you. I ate the food I was brought and I am sick. Overall my experience was pretty bad and I won't be going again.
Locally sourced and creatively crafted dishes highlight this gem, where there's something for everyone, ensuring a delightful experience for all.

I love how accommodating Red Robin is for celiac folks. Knowing that I have a safe and YUMMY place to eat is so important. Best gluten free burger in Minnesota if you ask me. I get the haystack double, sub a gluten free bun, no onion straws (sometimes Iโll sub raw onions), and roasted garlic aioli instead of the campfire mayo (since itโs sadly not gf). They also have a dedicated gluten free frier you can get the steak fries and the seasoning is also GF. They have the best interactive gluten free/allergen menu and I would SO love if more restaurants would adopt something similar. Just make sure you always tell your server about your allergy!
We typically always eat there but this time i placed an order via phone for delivery because Iโm usually too nervous to do it onlineโฆ I was helped by the sweetest, most thorough and understanding employee named Virginia. She made sure that my allergy was understood which felt like a weight off my shoulders. I canโt wait to eat my burger!!

One of the best restaurants in Duluth if you donโt want to spend a lot of money but do want good food and have a good time. It gets busy during dinner time like most places and they have music every night so if you arenโt into how loud it gets itโs still worth it to order takeout, which on Saturday you have to do in person. I recommend avoid using a car to get there since parking is very limited in the area when it is busy. They have a lot of different food options so if you need vegetarian, vegan, or gluten free they can accommodate you. Honestly I donโt think they have a single bad item on the menu.
Eclectic vibes and rotating menus keep diners coming back for more, making it a go-to spot for tasty and diverse dishes.

โGluten friendlyโ at your own risk. Fries are marked that they can be gluten free, but the cheese sauce they come with is beer cheese, so the waitress had to clarify that sheโd bring that on the side. And they donโt have a GF frier, so she asked if that would be ok. Maybe I ate too many fries, since it wasnโt clear that they came with the burger too (w/ no other option).
The gf burger bun was good (covered in poppy seeds) & held up well. Cocktails were also good and the atmosphere was just what we were looking for.

I loved that they accommodate gluten free and dairy free but I definitely feel like if Iโm paying the same price as someone with the full dining experience they could have made better substitutions. My least favorite were the gluten free crackers( at least homemade) that I had instead of their delicious looking bread, some mediocre winter squash, which was bland and would have tasted better with the breadcrumbs and the crispy shiitake mushroom, which was unseasoned and the pesto was not a good sauce for it. I think again, it was a second thought because it needed to be dairy free.
Overall, the food was good. I really enjoyed the chickpea blue prawn fritter and the artic char. I think because they didnโt really have to do any substitutions with either. The salad was awesome, bright and full of citrus flavor. And the parsnips and cauliflower were seasoned well.
