Needed to find a good local gluten-free spot near University of Maryland – this one came up and really hit the spot. We ended up doing dine-in one evening, and then did delivery the next evening. Their bowls are simple, but they’re extremely filling and delicious. They have lots of different options that you can customize so it doesn’t feel like you have the same thing twice, even though there were only five or six main things on the menu. Definitely worth checking out, especially if you have a gluten allergy.

This is a review both of this location and for the recent changes in Bibbibop’s menu. My wife has a gluten allergy and we have loved eating at Bibbibop for years. But since you all removed the signature bowls from the menu and haven’t provided instructions for your employees to re-create them when requested we are seriously considering never dining here again. Fine if you all want to change up your menu, but don’t get rid of the things that were on the menu that people loved and want to order again! That’s just a stupid choice to make as a business! And this particular branch of Bibbibop was pretty disappointing with the portions they gave us, and the fact that the employees who were working the line didn’t know or couldn’t remember how to recreate the signature bowls I was asking for and so we got pretty pathetic variations of the bowls and very small portions of them. I also asked them to be very light on the yum yum sauce for my dairy sensitive daughter’s bowl and they drowned it in sauce. Then when I asked for siracha sauce on mine they left it off completely. Please Bibbibop, fix your menu problem and even if you don’t want to list the signature bowls on your menu, give your employees instructions and guidance on how to still MAKE the signature bowls!

The vibe is Urban. Pretty loud hip hop music. Tupac, Kenrick Lamar, and Outcast were some of the artists played. There are only about 8 bar stools for dinning in. We've been here about 3 times, and all 3 times were amazing. They have some new stuff on the menu, including "Ramen Broccoli" and "What the Bird Eats". We ordered "Tofu Brah" for the second time, "Garlic Chil Oil Noodles" (new menue item), and "Pho Spiced Cheesstake Eggroll" (also new). The Tofu Brah is my favorite. It has a peanut sauce that is not gluten-free, but the rest of it is. Most of the menu is actually gluten-free except the peanut sauce, egg rolls, and buns. The Tofu is hands down the best tofu I've ever had! I suggest saying no to onions if they aren't your thing, even if they are not on the menu, chances are they will be on the dish. My husband said the "Neighborhood Bird" is still his favorite. He gives the "Neighborhood Bird" a 10/10. Today, he gave the eggroll a 7/10 because the cheesstake and Pho seasoning didn't quite vibe. He couldn't really taste the Pho, but thought something was kind of off. He also liked the chili noodles. The chilli noodles also got a 7/10. But he thought the braised pork in that dish was great, and gave it a 9/10. He went on to say the seasoning in the gluten-free breading on the chicken, and Tofu really stood out as a favorite. We noticed the catfish was off the menu, and that was one of our favorites. Another fav that we didn't order this time is the "Tempura Broccoli," which is also gluten-free free. All in all, this place is up there and one of our favorite places to go when we ditch the kids. One time we brought our adult kid with us. He devoured the Neighborhood Bird yet swears he doesn't like dark meat. So even if you don't like dark meat, give this one a try. Prices may seem high, but most dishes are enough to feed 2 people. You could order an extra bun with the "Neighborhood Bird" and feed two for sure!

Disappointed in the new menu. This used to be my trusted gluten free and good restaurant. It’s hard to find good gluten free food in restaurants. The ramen has been taken off the menu, ok maybe it wasn’t popular enough. But now the crab cake is no longer gluten free and the Gluten free bread has a different texture. No sure when we will be back as we aren’t impressed with the changes in one of our favorite places. And the parking lot is a mess.

Great food, they have many gluten free and vegan options and all their sauces are gluten free. Staff were very friendly. Strange rules and pricing options, you kind of have to read a lot to try and understand the several menus. There was a sign saying 5+ guests have 20% gratuity included. But then they also do 18% for groups of 4 or less?

We were so happy with our dinner here! The server was extra sweet and attentive to our needs and the needs of our kids. The food was delicious, fresh, and reasonably priced. I especially appreciated the gluten-free menu and the server’s knowledge of what was gluten free (for example, when I ordered the sushi rice, she marked for the cook to not use a certain flavoring ingredient that contained gluten). My gluten-free order was served on separate dishes from the other orders. Overall, a very nice family experience. We are happy to have a healthy restaurant that we can enjoy as a family.

I love most Thai restaurants, but the food was too spicy. The Pad Thai was a 4 pepper dish...In most places, it's a one 🌶. The restaurant was freezing cold. The atmosphere was a lot like McDonalds. The server claimed they were out of the only gluten-free appetizer on menu...when we said we'd do without appetizers, suddenly they found one available. There was a hair in my friend's food....terrible experience. 2 thumbs down.

Be very cautious if you have gluten allergies, because the waiters here clearly do not care if you do. We specifically asked for a gluten-free appetizer, and said that we were gluten-free, but when we ordered our appetizer, which had a gluten free option, somehow we got the non-gluten free version of it. If you decide to eat here with a gluten allergy make sure to specify your dietary needs.

We've eaten here twice while driving by and it's a great little spot. The ambiance is not quite date night ambiance but it is clean, the staff is friendly, and the food is good. They were even able to accommodate gluten-free (including gluten free soy sauce!). Loved the spring rolls for an appetizer!

I am always so satisfied with my order and service here, and I'm a regular. The chicken pho is always hot, delicious, and freshly made. I cannot recommend this place enough! I have been to Vietnam myself and the pho and crispy spring rolls taste very authentic. My father has celiac disease and is very allergic to gluten. But this restaurant has always done a great job for him and his allergies. He has never gotten sick from eating here, and is one of the only restaurants he trusts.

Second visit to Jinya and it was a runaway success. We gathered the family for my birthday only to find that the menu had *nothing* my sister could eat with her combination of allergies / sensitivities. Not to be deterred, our server Kyle conspired with the chefs to figure out some gluten free combos that might work for her. Fully prepared to "enjoy the smells", Kyle and co ended up delivering a plate of gluten-free noodles with butter and garlic for my sister to enjoy with the rest of us. The rest of the table had Jinya Black Tonkotsu ramen and the Jinya original, as well as some Chashu and gyoza. Their broth is really top-notch. Taste is a subjective thing, but this is one of the best ramen broths *I* have tasted. It borders juuuuust slightly on being salty, but not at all off-putting. Excellent beer & wine selection and ambience. Service has been exceptional both times. We'll all be back, and would recommend you do the same!

Just tried Farmsook for the first time, definitely not the last time. First things first-- one of us eats gluten free. Menu is clearly marked with what is gluten free, and every option we gluten lovers had you could select a gluten free option too! So now that gluten lovers and haters can eat from the same place-- the food? Delicious--- we had a range of things from fried rice (amazing), Panang curry (took me back to a place overlooking the Andaman Sea so many years ago), drunken ramen noodles (new to me-- but a nice change fro traditional drunken noodles), and pad prik king (awesome!). Needless to say, we're so glad we tried this place, were so amazed at how quickly our food came, and we will definitely add this place into our regular rotation. Ain't no better thai to be found, and considering there are several good thai places nearby, it makes Farmsook that much more impressive!

Really great food and service! There are several options for gluten free. They even have gluten free soy sauce. I got the edamame and the shrimp fried rice. They let me know their meat (chicken, pork, beef) is all marinated so not gluten free.

The food and service is always great at Zen. This has become our favorite local restaurant whether dinning in or taking out. The food is always fresh, flavorful and hot. Favorite items are Szechuan green beans with chicken, spicy kung pao, crispy chicken and pad Thai. I also appreciate that the wonton soup is made with chicken and not pork and they offer gluten free soy sauce.

10/10 Experience getting my huge gluten free 🙌 fried chicken neighborhood bird bowl was phenomenal. They have Great taste in music and art. I liked the people working there. Took my food home and WOW the fried broccoli 🥦 I was 💥💢 They have 2 other locations- don't worry if you're downtown you can get it but it's not open on Sundays
