As someone highly allergic to dairy it was exciting to hear that this vegan gluten free bakery opened in the area. Unfortunately it was a bit of a let down. For bakery items my family got cupcakes and donuts. The cupcakes were decent, not dense like a usual gluten free cupcake but there was no flavor to the cake. The vanilla one just tasted plain. The strawberry cheesecake donut had a great icing to it but the donut itself was dense and not like a donut at all. The frozen Katz donuts from the grocery store are better. Each pastry was $6 which seems overpriced for a barely mediocre dessert and they are not huge either. We took home the blueberry waffles($12 for a whole waffle which was cut up into 1/4 sections) , they are ok. The flavor tasted like a normal blueberry waffle and the texture was ok. Very average waffle. The mac and cheese ($16 for 2 servings) I got was very off putting. The cheese flavor was good, comparable to follow your heart brand but the noodles were awful, I made sure not to overheat it but somehow they came out very chewy. I want to give this place another go but am hesitant to due to the price point and a poor first impression.

I have been to this store twice this week and I can say this is top tier the deserts beautiful and taste delicious my kids normally don’t like my gluten free foods but now we are double fisting these delicious treats the guilt free and safe foods I can enjoy

I ordered Gigi's cupcakes for my office, and everyone loved the gluten-free cupcakes! We have a lot of people diagnosed with Celiac's disease, and they were so happy to be included in a celebration. The cupcakes were delicious with my favorite being Midnight Magic. Service was impeccable and the staff was very responsive and accommodating to our big delivery request. I would recommend Gigi's to anyone, and will most definitely order from here again!

My experience here prior to becoming dairy free for medical reasons was excellent. In my most recent visit, I had this new dietary restriction and I found it very difficult to find anything I could eat. For example, I was told the only bread in the entire restaurant that wasn’t made with milk was a gluten free hamburger bun (that didn’t taste very good). Considering bread isn’t inherently made with milk, I found it a bit unreasonable they didn’t have another option. We love the atmosphere here but I would reconsider if you have dietary restrictions.

Cupcakes, cupcakes, cupcakes, so beautiful and looking so awesome. Carlo was so helpful and passionate that I thought he was the owner, but he is a passionate cupcake guide. SO excited to find 2 gluten free versions, a sugar free and 4 vegan styles. I chose the red velvet gluten free that was packaged in a cute holder to prevent icing smash disaster. 4 types of Vegan cupcakes from Miyokos Creamery of Sonoma CA. It's not cheating but there are a few cookies. This special place in Hyde Park also sports a cupcake ATM. Store is Wheel chair access, Restrooms in Hyde Park department stores and Capital One Cafe across the Hyde Park Circle. Parking is pay by app in street which fills up quickly or free parking garage. The wall posted menus are fairly readable.

Their gluten friendly vegan breads are the best! They freeze and reheat beautifully (just slice before freezing). I'm destroying a piece of cinnamon raisin right now, and it's ridiculous. I have a lot of eating restrictions (doctors' orders), but the few times they have been lifted, and I got to try some of their other stuff, it was equally as good. I stalk their page every week, lol. Try them!

Britt did an absolutely fantastic job on a cake I ordered for her for two of my friends birthday. One of them is gluten free, so when I saw another of my gf friends have her make a cake, I knew I had to get one too! This was honestly (as someone who isn’t gf and has had many not great gf cakes due to my bestie needing them) gluten free cake I have EVER had, and it was STUNNING! I will be ordering from Britt again, I can’t wait to need another reason for another cake!
